Cheap Pink Wig From Amazon | Amazon Experience & Review | South African Youtuber

Hello, everyone welcome back to my channel. My name is riza astra and today this is by far the most exciting video that i'm filming ever. I have this very special package next to me and it all started when i saw this video or this tick tock from ese lalonde girl. Don'T do it, it's not worth it. I'M not gon na. Do it girl. I was just thinking about it. I'M not gon na do it, i did it, she made a tick tock and it instantly put me in a good mood and i was like i want to do the exact same thing. I want to dye my hair pink, but, as you can see, i have very very very dark, hair and very dark roots, and i knew that in order to get my hair to that optimal, pink color that i so want. I knew that it would be a process number one. It would probably damage my hair in the long run and it would be extremely expensive because i wouldn't want to do it by myself at home. Um and i would probably have to go to like the hairdressers and it'll be probably like a thousand two thousand. Three thousand rand and the upkeep and everything i was like. Oh this is a bit crazy. So, instead of dying and bleaching, my own hair, i decided to buy a wig and i bought a pink wig, i'm so excited. I decided to buy a pink wig and at first i had no idea where to go. What to do and the first thing that we do. Is we google? The second thing we do? Is we youtube, and so i went on youtube and i checked out. I literally just clicked pink wigs and one of the first videos that i watched was actually the wig that i ended up, purchasing and i'll link that video down below as well as soon as i saw it. I was like hmm, this is it, but it was a short wig style. It had bangs and when i ordered this wig i did not have bangs, but it has bangs super cute and it was also extremely inexpensive. So i figured i was just gon na bite. The bullet - and i was gon na - buy my pink wig on amazon and today i also want to tell you guys a bit about my amazon experience. This was the first time purchasing anything on amazon us first time having anything delivered to my just the whole process, and so this all started on the 5th of february we're currently on the 3rd of march. So on the 5th of february i decided this. Is it? I'M going to order this wig and i was just scrolling scrolling and i found this wig - the wig cost ninety nine dollars. So twenty two about twenty two dollars - and that is three hundred and twenty eight ran. I also bought 24 pieces of wig caps, which i'll show you later and that was 3.99. So 55 ran my shipping for these two items because they were from the same store. I was hoping to get free shipping if i was over a certain amount, because that's what i saw everywhere at amazon. But then i don't think we south africans qualify for free shipping, which is so rude. So the shipping is 14.16 and that's 211 ran and seven cents, and then it also included in your price is i had to pay five dollars and twenty cents um an import fee deposit, and that was a bit annoying, but that was 77 ran and 51 cents. So all in all, my total was 45 dollars and 34 cents, which is 700, ran and 770 cents. I think, oh, it was really really difficult to say. Let'S just do it and purchase this because 700 ran, i don't know if it is worth it. I don't know if this wig is gon na, be i don't know if the week is gon na look good on me. I don't know if the wig is worth it. I don't know if i'm actually gon na even receive the wig. How long is going to be? I have no clue, but i just put the ball. I was like rizza do it, i said just go for it just do it you're going to love it, and so i said i closed my eyes and i just checked out and did the whole process. I paid everything on my credit card because i figured it was probably safe. That way in case i didn't like the wig and i needed to return it or needed a refund. It'S just quicker if you do it on your credit card, so i did all of that and then the waiting started um. I didn't realize how long it would take to get to me. So, as i said, i ordered this on the 5th of february, and this is the process of getting it here in south africa. They originally said that i would get it by the 17th of march and i was like. Are you kidding me by the time? It'S the 17th of march, i'm not even going to want to wear a pink wig anymore or one pink hair, but it really this whole process is a real test in patience because, along the way you just have to be patient, and you just have to hope For the best, so i ordered on the 5th of february 2021. My package was shipped on the 11th of february and arrived in san bernard bernardino, california, and on the 12th of february it left san bernardino, california, and then on the 15th of february. It arrived in la so los angeles on the 17th of february, it left los angeles and then on the 20th of february. It arrived in dubai on the 21st of february. It left dubai, the 22nd it arrived in south africa in stanton in johannesburg on the 23rd. It was held at customs, and this is where the panic sets in, because this is when you'll receive an email from aramex. So what i did mention is that this was shipped by aramix or through aramex and there's two shipping options. You can do the arimix, regular shipping, which they say takes about seven to 15 days. They say or the express shipping which takes two to three days, but the extra shipping was ten dollars more and i was like i'm not gon na pay more than what i'm already paying, which is 200 and something around for shipping. So that's why once it's held at customs is basically means that it's safe and sound in south africa it's safe and sound at aramix, but they just need to confirm your order. So i received an email from someone from aramex which at first it seems like a dodgy email because they don't really have like an email, header or anything going for them. But it does say that the email is from someone at aramex and they basically just asked me to send my invoice of what i ordered, how much it cost and what i ordered. Exactly and and also a statement of my credit card or my bank details way or my bank card, where i bought the purchase from or where i purchased the item from so i sent all the details through the email very hesitant, very confused, but i got an Email immediately back saying: okay, thank you. All my details were there, and that was the morning of the 23rd. It was like held accustomed and then the afternoon around one o'clock. It said that the customs had cleared my my package. I was so excited. I was like we're in the end, i can see it's coming and then on the 24th. It left johannesburg and it arrived in cape town on the 26th of february, and so it takes so long and then i only received - and the package was only delivered on monday, the 1st of march, so all in all just under a month. Um is how much time it took for me to get my package, and it is 16 days under the estimated time that they said originally. I was gon na receive it. So all in all very happy with the experience. Also aramex drops your package off right at your door. I was not home the day or the time that they came, but luckily i worked really close by so i said: can you please just like drive down and like drop it there i'll be in the road? That means guys are always really really nice and accommodating, and so i received my package and yeah and then i had it and i was at work and i was sweet side. I didn't want to open it, but then my mom was like open it. We want to see it, so these are some of the first original photos. I took not my best work, but i'm going to try on the week now just to see if i can do it on the camera, but i also wanted to show you just everything that was that came in the package. So your wig comes in this box and like a wig box which is so cool and it just has the company's name and says fashion, wig um and then my wig caps. I'Ve already. I don't know why i didn't just keep all the nice packaging, but my wig caps all came in like the flip-flop baggie and they just look like swirl coaster. If you know what a swell coast is, then you know it. It'S just a wig cap, but it doesn't have the holes of the wig cap because i was unsearching if i was receiving a wig cap with the actual wig. When you open up the wig box. Look at my wig. It is like a beautiful pinky lavender. Purple e um, hey, i absolutely absolutely love it. I think it's chef's kiss. I was so happy when i received it. I was like this is exactly what i ordered um. So it comes in like a little a little netting which, as you can see, it has like a little coal in it and inside the box you get. This was in packaging, but you get one of these wig caps and it is the one with the holes in love it, and then you also get these three sets just fun sets of like tattoo, the owner says hi, it's my honor to serve you thanks. So much for purchasing at our shop with my best wishes, a very cute like note, and you even get like a pair of earrings these. These earrings and these tattoos are not like you're not paying for them, but it's just like a thank you gift. The seller is really really kind and she had the same note and the same stickers for the the other wig caps, which is really really cool. So i'm just going to come a little bit closer and i'm just going to show you. This is what i look like now in my regular hair and my black hair. This is me, this is me, and this is my wig and, like i said, the wig comes in like a little netting. I have worn it twice now, so it's not gon na be as perfect as it was look at it. It is beautiful, it feels nice and soft and for me it feels real. I'Ve never had a wig before, but it feels pretty amazing and then it just comes with like this is the inside. This is the this. Is the hair, it's so pretty, and it's so soft, and then it does come with a bang areas. It has bangs in the front a lot of the review, video that i watched i mentioned earlier in a lot of the reviews on amazon, there's tons of reviews and tons of pictures so check that out before you purchase anything. But what i liked is that they, a lot of them, said that you would have to cut the wig um the bangs, but because it is it's not as perfect, and some of the hair on the sides can also be part of the bangs. It is very very like at the moment, like a lots, just lots of flyaways, but that's okay. I haven't properly brushed or anything, but i just love this color and i love love, love the um like the waves and the coals on the side, because my hair, just it can't do it, it just can't do it. So i'm really happy about this, but i'm gon na just try it on for you quickly and then i'll be right back. Actually, what i'm gon na do is i'm just gon na show you what i'm gon na do, and usually i would just i'm just gon na put my hair like this and then just see if i can tie my hair in the back like so please. If you have any other tips or tricks to make this easier or better or make it look more natural, please let me know whoopsie, because this is the first time that i'm wearing a wig, so i'm pretty clueless. I tried to watch as many videos as i possibly could, but you know so it's just in a little bunny in the back just so that your hair could be as like as flat as it possibly can be. That'S anyway, it's going to be under this. This cap - you just put it over your head, like so just make sure i'm doing this correctly and try to get all your hair underneath the wig cap. I know that for a fact, because, obviously, when you have the wig on it, shouldn't show that you have hair, underneath it should look like your own hair, which you'll see now it doesn't quite look like it could be my own ear, just because you'll see so There you go, it doesn't look like, i have any and it's pretty flat, and this was the wig cap that came that came with the the wig. There are adjusters in the back, so i just adjusted the wig and then i just put it on again. If there's any better way to do this, please let me know, please let me know, look at me like it's already like completely changes, changes, everything and then i just try to adjust it as much as possible to make it look as real as possible. So there you have it, let me just pull it down in the back as well, and then i'm just going to use my comb just going to use my coat like to just see so like. As you can see, the wig. The wigs bangs are very like shlooped, and you kind of want your bangs to be straight down and like cut yeah, so i'm thinking of cutting i'm definitely gon na cut the front i'm just gon na. I don't want to cut oh cut and like damage the colds of it, because i love the cold, but there you go there, you have it, that's the wig and that's kinda, that's it so yeah. I got a wig and i love it like. I don't know how i look. My brother says it looks: okay, um good job. I think it looks fine i'll just show you some other videos, but that's that's what i look and i love it. It is so comfortable. I went to the mall with it. The other day - and it was super comfortable - it obviously doesn't look real because of on top. It doesn't show that i've had like any hair or any like different colors, but that is me with my wig. This is me without glasses. I think it kind of looks nicer without glasses and i think obviously, once i've cut the bangs shorter, it will look so much more natural and it looks a little bit better. It is very hot today, but the wig is sits very comfortably and all in all 10 out of 10 5 out of 5 stars. I'M really really happy with my purchase. I'M really happy with this wig at first i was like, oh my goodness. Did i make a mistake. Do i even look? Does it even suit me, you know, but i think it does, and i think i think i love it so there you have it. Let me know what you think down below.
