#amazon #amazonhairwaver #hairwaver

Hey guys, Sara here, welcome back to my channel today. We'Re gon na do a little experiment on my hair. I'M going to be testing out the two popular hair waivers that are out right now and just share which one works better: the different qualities that each of them have and then just look at how each of them leaves my hair. So if you're interested in that keep watching and if you're new here don't forget to subscribe before you leave, so you don't miss any of my future videos. Alright, let's get into it. I'M sure you guys have seen all over Instagram it's on Amazon, it's everywhere. These hair wavers are super popular right now and when I mentioned this pink one in my Amazon favorites a few weeks ago or maybe a week ago, a lot of you guys were asking about the bent head one and which one was better, which one gave you Deeper waves, which one was better so I had to say it twice, because that was how many questions I got about it. So I figured I you should order the BET head one and test it out. This is a three day hair. I did curl it a couple days ago, so I have some residual curls, but it will wave just fine and it's the same on both sides, so it doesn't really matter. I wanted to do this on dirty hair because, if they're totally different, I'm obviously not gon na go in public with both sides of my hair completely different. So I am warming up the bedhead one right now. This one has it's definitely different in the aspect that it doesn't have a digital display. You just turn it on and then you can lock it so right now it's locked and then you can open it, and that is how you end up clipping it and when you make it warmer or cooler, you just turn a dial. So it doesn't say how hot it is, which I don't know how hot this gets. Maybe I should look that up also this retails for $ 26. I will link both of them down below. It is on prime, it's usually 30. So it's on sale right now and let's see what it says, it goes up to 400°, which I do not it's hard to tell how hot it is because it just has this little dial. So I have no idea what it, but I definitely don't want it at the highest, so we're gon na turn it down a little bit and I'm gon na do what I did with the original one that I purchased and I'm going to do my hair in Sections and give both of them the exact same treatment. So I'm just going to put my hair half up. I did also get a couple of requests asking if I would do a little tutorial of how I do it, so this is gon na be like a tutorial and a review and comparison. So when I curl my hair, I don't normally section it off. I just put it why. I guess I do in two, but I don't do the top and the bottom, but with this I've noticed that I want all of my hair to be waved and in order to do that, I have to do it in sections. No matter what I'm doing, I always start from the back, because I think it's the easiest and what I will say about these waivers is that it's it's really hard. If you pull hair like vertically, you want to pull hair horizontally because it's hard to get a lot of hair in the clamp. If that makes sense. So I'm gon na start from the back and I guess unlock this and then I just clamp down and I don't hold it for a really long time. I have a fear of being the girl in the like hair infomercial that she lets go and her hair. Just falls off completely, I am NOT trying to completely damage my hair. I also am a little bit not as careful on the bottom. I just want that texture, but I don't necessarily care if it's perfect, because it's gon na be underneath all right. This is the bottom part, I'm just I didn't think this through. I should have only sectioned off the top half of this side. All right, this side is done. I am going to just try and pin it back a little bit. So it's out of my way. I'M just sliding in at this one warm up and I wanted to pull up the details of it. I paid it $ 30 for this one. I just looked on Amazon and it's currently sold out. I will link the link to it anyway. You guys can keep an eye on it. I'M sure that they will restock it this one. It does have a digital display. What I did notice about this is, if you plug it in the display, automatically turns on and says off, so I can't keep this plugged in which I plug. I keep most of my curling irons and whatnot plugged in and then just turn them on. When I want to you can't I mean you could, but the display would just always be on and then the display is in Celsius so online. It says that it heats up to 410 degrees Fahrenheit, which is 210 degrees Celsius. But my display says 230 Celsius, which is actually 446 degrees. Fahrenheit. I don't know about you, I'm not trying to put that much heat on my hair. This one does have a little kickstand on it and it opens up and has the three barrels which this one is different in that way, this one kind of comes open after you unlock it and you push it shut, but it really only has that one. It'S kind of the same concept, but opposite, but this one has rounded barrels, and this is more of like a deeper sea shape. So I don't know if it's going to be any different. It does a look from first impression. This sides waves are a little bit deeper than the waves that I've gotten from the pink one. It is my first time using the purple bedhead one, so we will find out I'm going to do it the exact same thing on this side, so I'm not going to talk through the whole thing just because I don't want this video to be eternity, but I Will be doing the same thing, so you kind of already know I just finished waving my hair, I kind of messed up the top here. It looks a little bit weird, but Adam just got home, so I'm gon na ask him if he can tell the difference between the two sides. You can look in real life mmm that one's got bigger waves. Does it look better? The top of it is messed up, it looks terrible, but the actual wave part yeah. I like that one, this one yeah okay, just because it's bigger, okay, thanks so Adam likes this side better, because the waves are bigger and he said that it just looks better than the side which I actually do have to agree with. I'M going to fix the top because it just looks horrendous right now, so I'm warming up the other at the bad head, one for this side and then I'm going to use the pink one on this side. I don't normally go high up. I normally start like down here, but I started higher and so it made it look weird editing Sarah here I have no idea why I thought it looked so bad editing. It doesn't look as bad as I thought it did in person when I was filming this. So you're welcome in advance for the golden entertainment of watching me complete. We mess up my hair right now. I do still recommend starting it a little bit lower, not right at the scalp, just because it does give you a more flattering. Look right around the temple is the best place that I have found to start, but here we go. I also don't know if this is going to fix it or make it worse. Well, now that I have completely messed up my hair, I highly highly suggest starting a little bit lower like kind of temple area, just because you can't get all the way to the root with how this tool is the way that it's shaped, and so you end Up with just like this weird bump, and then I had it right here instead, so if you put it, if you start at your temples or so it looks better, but I will say overall, I like the curls better with the Butthead one. So I'm glad that I did this little experiment, because the one that I had is the pink one, and I don't like it as much so. If you're going to buy one, I recommend buying the bedhead one. The biggest downfall on this one is that it doesn't have a digital display, so you don't know exactly how hot the tool actually is on your hair, which can be a little bit scary when you are putting in hot tools onto your hair. Alright. I hope that this experiment was helpful for you. Let me know down below if you've tried one of these hair tools, if you have which one have you tried, did you love it? Are you into this hairstyle or are you not? I think it's so fun and different. It'S just not something that I do all the time. So I think it's like a fun little change up to my normal hair styles, like I said before, I will link both of these down below in the bottom bar. In case you are looking for them, don't forget to subscribe before you leave give this video a thumbs up. If you enjoyed it - and I will see you guys tomorrow, thanks so much for watching bye,

Melissa Marchio: I'm so happy I watched this! I was trying to decide between these! I have used a 3 barrel on my already wavy hair for many years to touch up the parts that don't wave and it broke a few days ago! So bummed! It was a hot tools brand and I can't find that they make it anymore. I like the curls you have on both of them but I think I'm going to get the bed head one because that's how my natural wave already is so it will just blend better on the parts I don't really need to even put heat on. Also a little tip, if you take the iron part and angle it a bit the curls are even more "natural" because it gives them more texture instead of just straight across. (If that makes sense??) thanks again!!!

Jacqueline: Either use a higher heat setting or hold it longer. Could’ve been a better review ‍♀️

Erik Henry: I literally just did this same experiment on myself last night then found your video a few minutes ago :D years ago I had a triple barrel waver like the pink one (they've been around for a while) only the barrels were smaller, like half an inch each I think. I loved it and wanted something that would give me similar results so I tried these two products. I agree that I liked the purple one better than the pink triple barrel. For me, the pros and cons were that the triple barrel didn't give me as good of a wave even if I held it on longer, but I do like that it came with things like a heat glove, some clips, and a converter. It's also bulky since it's bigger, so it would take up more space in a drawer and luggage. The purple waver got hot quicker and gave better form faster, and since my hair is heavy and I live in windy CA I need waves/curls that will last all day and won't relax super fast. It also cooled down faster since there's a latch to lock it shut and you can leave it open while cooling (the pink one is always closed unless you open it), so overall, for around the same price, I definitely recommend the purple Bed Head waver over the other. The pink triple barrel just had too many cons and the pros weren't enough to keep it, so I sent it back earlier today.

KNK96: I’ve used both of these and get way more waves...I think you need to use it on a higher heat setting and longer; you really can get an amazing wave from these, I find the deep waver better and easier to use than the triple barrel.

Watermelon Gal: Hi Sarah! I have natural wavy hair like that so I don't really care much for a hair waver. The tools look really neat though. The waves look great! I've heard great things about these tools. Great review!

VMR Channel: I just tried BED HEAD WAVE ARTIST DEEP WAVER yesterday and it was great! It gave me a VERY Beachy Waves.

Karlene Dunkley: Turn the tool upside down or opposite direction at the roots. Leave them on a little longer to get the real effect of the wave. Thank you. I know you did on dirty hair to demonstrate but please do it again with clean hair and heat protectant so that you won’t damage your hair with the heat. Thank you

Ana G: I love the purple one! You need to leave it to heat like 5 to 10 mins and leave the curly machine longer to get Wave!!! You look pretty anyways ☺️

Alexis Murshed: I just ordered the Bedhead Wave-We-Go version and I'm glad I did as I can see that the Bedhead product yielded better results.

Amy Shafer: I have the pink amazon 3 barrel one in my car waiting to go back. It just doesn’t work very well! She got much better results than I was able to get from it. But now I know returning it is a smart Choice. I’m getting the bed head one now. Thank you.

PeacefulSerenity: I like the Bedhead one much better. I returned the pink triple barrel one because it would take too long to heat up. The Bedhead waver warmed up really fast and quickly gave me waves. For a time crunched morning that is important to me!

bloo jkl45: I thought her "before" was the after lmao! Her natural hair is flawless naturally

Teresa Carrizales: I liked the side with bigger waves! I’ll get one of those, thanks for sharing this!

Kate Moore: I have the pink one & I find it way easier to hold it the opposite of how you did, so that you can see the hair when it’s in it. I do hold it a little linger & keep it at 180C whatever that is Fahrenheit.

C Tran: I've been looking for a video exactly like this! I thought it was interesting because I felt like on youtube, everyone uses the pink version, but on Amazon, the bedhead was super popular (and I kind of trusted Bedhead more since I recognize the brand). I ended up getting the bedhead and was beginning to regret maybe not trying the Alure one, since even Amika came out with a $120 version of it. I prefer deeper waves anyways, even if the pink version side looks a lot more natural. Thanks for the video!

Sara Lashbrook: I literally bought the bed head one yesterday before I watched this review! I got it today and will be doing my hair for my husband’s Christmas party tomorrow

Ashley J: Love that he gave his opinion! Thanks to you both

J R: Another problem I've noticed with the BedHead Waver is that you have to be careful not to move the heat dial as you're working. Its kind of in a bad spot.

Sarah Strom: Thanks for this review! I have been wanting to buy a waver and didn't realize there was another option that seemed better and less expensive.

Ari B: Your hair already looked so nice before you demonstrated!!

Casey Planck: These have both been on my wishlist and i was watching bed head tutorials when i saw your video! Thank you for the side by side

Sarah Feilmeier: Thanks for this!! I have been trying to decide which would work best for me!

CaseyMichelle Vlogs: Nice waving hair, I like the pink iron. I'm sure it's more curls if you hold it longer.

dgmlmax: Please don’t leave your curling irons/ hair tools plugged in. They are fire hazards.

Lorena Mendez: Loved this review since you didn’t put the heat so high up. Def buying the purple one

Skye Avalon: The pink one is terrible! I have it and watched this video to make sure I wasn’t just using it wrong. Now I need to buy the purple one.

Tamara: I bought the Bed Head one a few months back and after seeing different versions of your pink one I wondered if I should have picked a different one lol the Amika one is shaped more like the pink one soo I thought maybe I should've went that route but after seeing this I'm glad I went with the Bed Head lol thanks for your review and comparison !

sherilynschneider: Great review, Sarah. Thanks! I like the purple one better too. Y in the world do they not have a better dial or display on that bad boy? So hard to know the temp. Hey, do you think it would work on short hair...chin length?

THE VALENTIN’S SHENANIGANS: Love my purple one!!

Heather S: I like the deep wave side better.

Norma Vasquez: Tyfs !!!! The left ( bed head ) looks best to me. I would use on the ends only.

TMarie: Great review I have been looking for a good curling iron! Thanks

Lily Bby: I have the pink one it and gives big beach waves. I think you needed to leave it on longer

Julia G.: I just got the Bed Head one and have used it once but I'm not sure I love it. There's no variation in the wave, it's like one solid curtain of the same wave. I like mine to look messy and more random. Going back with a single curling iron might help but that would be a lot of work! I also held it with the curved side up so I'll have to try the other way.

thezebrastripe89: See I want my hair to do what yours looked like in the start, that look is ❤

Life With The Dahls: For variety of texture throughout your hair turn the iron upside-down for some sections in-between the normal ones :)

Donna: I agree with you and Adam. I like the same side the best.

Tiffany Michelle Nicholas : You should try the mermade curler ! It’s so good and it has the right voltage so it won’t overheat and burn your hair like some of the amazon ones do https://youtu.be/htrMkCwK4n8

ButterFly Madness: Deffo hold it onto the hair longer. It’ll just go flat straight away

Macy Burchette: Jus bought it today thank you ❤️

Ahlamm -: Should I straighten my hair to do this or can it just be blow dried?

Sarah Venable: You should of sprayed your hair with heart protection and afterwards turned up the heat a bit more, I just feel like it would of gave you more of a cute especially with the pink barrel. Thanks for the review tho

Jude S. Ontario: Do your hair when freshly blow-dried and use hair spray as well. Like this woman. Jump to 28:55 in the video to get to her using the waver iron. She is an ex hair salon stylist.

Natalie Grooman: I have the Bed Head. I really agree with starting at the temple

Lucy Rangel: I agree with your husband. I like the Bedhead side better.

Brandi Ruble: I have Plugged In ceramic tourmaline triple barrel waver bought online sale.. I have yet to see review about it, ugh. Glad to have found you and subbed too.

Naty Fernandez: Best I have ever used is the Karmin

Tasia Tyler: You look great!! I have a question as to what you might recommend for shorter hair. It’s about 3 inches all over and I’d like to do something with it. I figured you might know of something or one of your amazing subscribers might have an idea! Thank you!! Take care Sarah

Taylor Bates: That was a bad review, your hair basically the same before you stared. Hold it longer or maybe turn the heat up a little bit or something! There's like no wave with either of these tools. Also clean hair works too, you should try it

Cali Richmeier: I have both and if you do it right they are both awesome

Anna Leon: I feel like everytime I use a waver I just get really poofy hair I can't figure out how to use it

Shari Duppong: I got the deep wave one and tried it. It is ok but doesn’t look near as good as yours

Zoey2021: What temperature do I set the hair waver (Bombay hair)? Please reply back to me! I need to know. Thanks!

Ρεβέκκα Rebecca: Please don't review items that you aren't going to use at their capacity so that viewers can make decisions based on properly researched results. We use straighteners at 230⁰C in Australia. Fairly sure we aren't a continent of bald Women because of it. There are health and safety laws that are in place for a reason. Meaning, the temperature on the wand won't cause damage. If you aren't a hair stylist, at least get advice from one before reviewing OR read the instructions and be prepared. There was unnecessary rambling that took up time instead of suggesting products that could be used before and after heat styled hair. I apologise if this criticism offends you but I'm sure you want to be a reliable source of information for your subscribers and maybe listening to a few suggestions will help you regain viewers's trust.

Zubriuka: Which exact bed head waver this is??? I love the curls on your right side... want the same curler but found so many bed heads on Amazon

Ivy b: If it helps the bed head is only $23 8 bucks off and a 10 off coupon

Pinkflamingo dingo: Thank you!

Elaine Parr: Leave it on longer with some settings SPRAY. Stiff

N S: What size is the pink one ? 25mm or 32mm?

Liz Jamorin: I would love to have that too..thnx for this video ..new subbie here..hope we can support each other..

Shelli Schuller: It didn’t come out right because you used, the wavy hot tool backwards.

The Frontier Family: The look afterwards looks so messy and incomplete. Not sure why these are popular, it just damages your hair for a strange messy looking result. You could do the same thing by braiding damp hair and then taking it out when it's dry.

La Guerra: You need to leave it on longer

Margo: Those are both terrible wavers. I bought “BOTH” of the exact same ones being that they were the main ones available at every store and beauty supply. And they would barely hold even the slightest wave. The Bedhead you have to press too hard on for every single crimp and hold for 40 seconds, the pink one and black one only goes up to 430, and the crimp is more like a “body wave” that falls flat shortly after. She’s not lying . I would recommend higher in or better quality brands.

Mackenzie G.: I have the pink One

Beverly Brown: Need to leave it in your hair longer , not a whole lot difference

Allison Ayo: Can you do with short hair

Chi Choo: Good video

Jessee Nixon: to me these looks just like a more modern crimper..where are the curls

Isabel Perez: You can’t even see waves ‍♀️‍♀️ looks more like straight

Chelsea Cnossen: The Bed Head one you did upside down.

Ree de la Vega: You should have used some product. Can’t really tell what they do

Isabel Avila: I have the purple one and u didn’t do it right no offense but u need to put the heat higher and hold it longer or to make it even better u put hair spray then u curly it and btw the part where it’s deep the part goes in the outside bc the part tht is like flat goes in the inside

April Smith: The bedhead one is the better side.

Cookie Crumb Wolf: I don’t really see them before cause I’m just a kid and my mom says I can’t have tiktok or Instagram or somethin like that

Ivet Arredondo: Hi we’re can I get it I loved it

Laxmi Das: Hindi video plz

Rosalva Ortiz:

Laxmi Das: Pp

Chi Choo: Pink is better than purple
