$20 Dollar Wig! Janet Collection Swiss Lace | Affordable Wig Series // Episode 1

My me, hey guys, what's up welcome back to my youtube channel, i've been wanting to do an affordable, wig series for the longest time and we're. Finally, here i want this wig series to basically be wigs that are cute, but don't hurt our pockets if you've seen some of my past videos or most of my past videos, i am a big huge, huge advocate for synthetic wigs synthetic hair in general love, human Hair love, it i'm a human of course. I love it honestly, human hair, it's just very expensive and pricey, and sometimes we don't have the coin for that. So i wanted to kind of do a series on affordable wigs that look good. I truly feel like they have come a long way and that there are some hidden gems. We just have to dig a little bit to find them. We are going to start off this wig series with one of my favorite brands, janet collection. If you haven't heard of them, they do a lot of hair pieces. They'Re, like one of those beauty supply, store brands that you always see when you're walking down the aisles and her name is gabriella. I think it gives you three different color options: um, it's like one b one and then like a brownish color just be sure to get the one b or one, if that's what you're looking for, but this is her. This is gabriella. So this is swiss lace. Extremely deep part, chasha fierce i love her already. We'Ve got a little work to do on her, but i i love her the parts not bad. Look at that part. That'S actually a pretty realistic. Looking part, i'm not gon na lie. Look how much hair this is like wet wet, i'm obsessed with the curls. It'S like those nice old hollywood curls like really big. This is what the part looks like again: don't sleep in the wig, you know, take it off every night and you should be good to go. I wanted to do a couple of things to kind of make it look a little bit more realistic. Sometimes the wigs can look a little wiggy. Oh, i actually want to pin this back real, quick and hey i'm like do i cut bangs? Do i cut bangs? Do i cut bangs? Do i cut beans? Okay, i was gon na. Do my baby hairs because i thought baby hairs would look cute with this, but i feel like i might just cut things and layers in it. We need layers, and i'm gon na, like put some something. I'M gon na put some foundation on the part to make it stand out to make it full okay, but this is the wig. This is her. This is she. This is what the part looks like now, a little better, i'm gon na cut bangs into this. I think i am, i think i am here. You can get a look at it before i cut it. It'S a nice length too. Not too long. I will say with synthetic wigs when i get them at a super long length, they're cute for exactly one day, and then they get so matted up that it's just not worth using longer ones are really harder to take care of and maintain. In my experience, the ones i've had just long is just this is as long as i like to go, especially with curly, i think, with straight you can get away with it a little bit more, but it's curly we're teetering, also keep in mind with wigs, like This you can put heat on it, so if you do have a curling iron and want to refresh some of the ends of them, then that's always you're welcome to do that. But for the most part i just try not to wear it too much and preserve it when i can so if i wear it out for the day, that means as soon as i get home, this bad boy is coming off and it's pretty long. It goes pretty much down to my chest area here and then i'll show you the back. This is what the back looks like. Let'S get scissor happy trigger happy, let's go! Okay like we'll. Do this piece for sure we'll start up here, i'm feeling shorter, because i kind of wanted it to be like a literal bang, not the belly: okay, okay, okay, okay, we've got one down it's cute, so far right and if you're asking how recklessly i'm cutting right. Now it's because i've had many many years of cutting wigs and i've messed up several of them, so i just learned to go with it and if this turns out decent looking, then that means this video will be posted. So if you're watching this video, that means i think it turned out decent, looking but trust and believe i've cut wrong many times, but i'm kind of going for like a not fringe, but like a 70s boho vibes. Look i catch my dress. Okay, let me concentrate i'm gon na cut here. First, yes, a little bang action i felt like this would be cute, especially for, like fall time fall vibes i kind of wanted a wig that had bangs in it. I was like i'm either going to order one that has bangs already cut in them or i'm going to snip them myself so yeah. This wig is super soft. Again i like the curls they're nice, big fluffy, curls, it's good for the price. If you're looking for a more affordable wig, you know something that isn't gon na break your bank, but looks already good, because i mean this one's giving she's giving now what else can i say about this wig? It'S really cute. I will always stick up for synthetic wigs and it is going to get frizzy as it goes like. We know how it goes. We know how these wigs work, but again how i combat that is. I will just cut off the frizzy pieces as time goes, and really i put it on the wig head as soon as i get home, i'm not wearing it to sleep. I don't wear it when i work out it's just wearing out and about and then when i get home it goes right back on the way head or right back in my bin and that's the story and that's the tea. Oh, we love gabriella. We we appreciate her. We appreciate that price. I mean twenty dollars for this. That'S that's good stuff, but that's pretty much it for this wig review. It'S pretty much one of those wigs where you can just slide it on and go again. I am a big fan of lace. I love watching girls, put it on and looking at it, but in all reality and realness lace to me is such a struggle to put on like i'll. Do it once then it'll turn out good and then, after that, it's just such a hassle. So it is nice to have wigs like this, where you can just slide it on and go, but that's going to be it for this video today this little wig review. I hope you guys liked it.
