So today's video is brought to you by wig types. They were kind of to send me another unit to review for you guys, as always before we get into the install the specs and what i think about the unit out the pack make sure if you're new to the channel you go ahead and subscribe and smash That notification bell, so you don't miss anything else, coming up also give this video a thumbs up. If you want to see more videos like this in the future, let's go give me these yeah making me cry: oh uh, okay, so, like i said this unit comes to us from wig types.com, it is from sensational it is a part of their cloud9 swiss lace. What lace wig line - and it is a brand new unit by the name of kara. This is what her car looks like. I got her in the color 1b and she does retail for cents. Now this unit 49.94 come in some specialty colors. However, you will pay four dollars extra for these colors on the site now, based on the specs on the site and in this little pamphlet here you know the little pamphlet that comes with. Let me go ahead and open her up. Okay, the little big old joint that we got right here. This unit does come with a 13x6 hd, keep them guessing lace, frontal, okay, so that's 13 inches from ear to ear six inches deep here in the middle. It also has two combs in the front one comb in the back and adjustable straps. This unit i feel like, is now i'm not gon na. Do that it's more bighead associated than bighead friendly. It is a little snug on my head, based on how it's fitting on my head, um. I did have to pull it down and pull it down and pull it down to make sure she was gon na fit on my head, even though i have on my wig grip to keep this unit in place. I still use the combs here on the side. Just to pin them up under my wig grip just to make sure she was going to slide back, because my head is 23 inches on a bad day. Okay, big head gang gang we here and with that being said when a unit is too tight for my dome pressure starts to build up around my temples and my temples say get back and it pushes the wig back up off my head. Okay, so i know i got to use the combs with this joint or my wig grip to make sure this joint is in place. I used both this time. Okay, now, if you are bigger than 23 inches, say goodbye to that edge coverage, okay and let her slip on back blend your edges in, like i did right here on the side and keep it pushing okay. The lace on this unit is pretty blendable um, based on what i'm seeing right now for my eyes, without my glasses on, i feel like it looks pretty good. I think i have a little bit white cast right there. I did not use any of my liquid products on this lace, which i probably should have done if i sprayed this unit down, but i'm wearing her glueless okay. I just use my face powder and my contour shade around the front here and just blend that joint in and then i use my night eraser in the parting space to blend that out, and that was it now. This unit, that's called a natural hairline and baby hairs. I did not pluck anything on this unit. I did go in and swoop some little baby hairs to give it more of a natural hairline. I think this lace is blendable. However, we know the tips and tricks. We got ta do now for this hairline to get her together. She is still a little ashy, but i am learning with the synthetic hd lace. They pretty much all ashy, okay, they're, pretty much all ashy. We do. We got ta do to blend them down and that's it now. This is a futura fiber, so she is heat safe up to about 400 degrees, 350 to 400 um. I did use some heat on this unit on the top here. Just to you know flatten this out, because she was a little bulky up there, so i just use my um what you call it my i want to say hot comb. It'S not hot on my blow dryer just to blow dry that down and she worked just fine. I think she laid down like a dream. Y'All, she looks she flat. Okay, she is flat, looking good looking good. I will say, though, putting all the hair over to one side because of the look that i wanted it. It is a little bulky over here. So if i want to go in - and kind of, you know use some heat on this side to kind of flatten. This down just a little bit, i think it'll look a little bit better, but i didn't, for the sake of this video, just to show you guys how that looked now, i'm gon na tell you. I wasn't really feeling this unit how she looked on the card. She just looked real: she looked old, okay, she looked real old and our niece is gon na be kind of stiff based on the gap that i'm seeing between her neck and that wig okay see that gap. That gives me stiff vibes. Okay, that's what that gives me, so this is gon na be a little stiff, but i wanted to work with her because i haven't really tried a sensational unit in a while, and i figured you know why not it's a what lace unit. So let's go ahead and get her together, okay and get her together. We did you hear me all right that little how you doing that was hanging down here. We went on and chopped her off because she, no okay. I don't like that. Um! I left the length over here pretty much. I cut a little teeny bit over here, but not that much. I left it pretty much at the angle bob that it is, i kind of just fluffed the hair up in the back. You can see see the little peacock see the peacock sticking out. I am a peacock, you got ta, let me fly yeah yeah. We don't like that. We get get down, get get down, see. How that looks on the side, though, see how i fluffed her on up y'all, see how that looks. It looks like i got a little perm going on: okay, yeah, okay, so she looks real good to the side and then this is how she is looking to the back. Okay. She looks good facts. Okay? Yes, yes, yes, okay, so she's, not a bad look, but the hair is stiffer than i would like her to be. Okay, a little all this all that she not really okay, she's, not giving you the silkiness, okay, all the movement that we got going on. No now the bang, the bang will do something. The bang will do something if you want her to, but in the long run, she's not gon na be doing all this okay, she won't get real stiff. The natural line the sensational has um like the alpha woman. All that kind of stuff, it's giving me a step, a couple steps up from that, but you can tell they're related okay they're in the same family. You can tell that texture is from sensational okay, but i'm not mad at her, i'm not mad at her. What i am disappointed in is the parting space. Now, let me be clear: it's given that new wave 13x6. Okay, you know i'm talking about the newer 13x6 units, it kind of cuts short on the side. It gives you more parting space here in the middle and a little bit on the sides, the old, what lace units the parting space went all the way like this, it didn't cut in in that little hook them that little horseshoe thing in the middle okay. It was a parting space all the way across the front. I don't know why they changed it up like that, but they did okay and trust me. I noticed i'm not doing a whole bunch of styles on my side anyway, so you know it is what it is. Can you do some styles with this unit? Sure can't all right. So this was easy to do. Did cut a little bit off this side because it was still a little bit too long, obviously, because i had chopped this side or whatever, but yeah the hair moves really nice for the style that you want. So once you move the hair, it pretty much goes into place. I like the messy bob. Look, the hair flows a lot better when it's in the center, just because the weight of the hair is more even i do feel like. It looks a little bit healthier in the center okay. Y'All see the movement y'all see the movement. The lust of the hair looks really natural. I did get some tangling with this unit like one major knot that i literally had to go in and cut out um, and i also got a little bit of shedding, but nothing crazy with that, but yeah she looked cute in the middle too y'all. She look cute in the middle okay, okay, all right, but all in all, i think she's a cute look like the bob look that little peacock get i'm going to cut her, i'm going to cut this little piece right there, because i don't like that. I don't like that, but the bob look is giving me is serving okay. It'S serving me fresh out. The shop okay, blowed out type of look is giving me it's giving me that. Okay, it's it's giving me that all right, you may want to buy a couple of these just to have them, and you know your stockpile just because you know you're going to run through this joint okay. Now again, if you want to part this joint and do some different styles again, you can definitely do that. You'Ll see this hair is thick okay. It is thick up in here. So if you want to part her and do some different styles with her wear hair in the middle, whatever else you can definitely do that. Okay, you can definitely do that. Give me a little side action you see, and this and this little bump down here is not as bumped. All i did was move it over flip it over um, but the curl is not it's not bumping under. That'S that's where that stiffness comes in okay. That'S that sensational stuff, i'm talking about okay sensational, get your bumps together, get the bump together. If it comes with a bump, i can flatten her the way that i want her to my face. She'Ll be right! Okay, you see what i'm saying here. You see what i'm saying: okay, let us let us debunk the joint okay, let us debunk it! Do you bump it? Oh goodness, gracious guy anyway, shout out one more time to wait times for sending me this unit. In the video I mention the "stiffness' of the texture, but after wearing her for a few hours, it isn't so much the inital stiffness that is a problem. It actually flows naturally as seen in the middle part. However, if this wig is worn daily, the elements will stiffen it quicker.
