Synthetic Lace Front Wig | Outre Katya

Hi guys it's your girl, curly kiki and welcome back to my channel. So in this video i'm going to be showing you how i installed this synthetic lace wig and i'm going to give you more details on the wig as we jump into the video so um without further ado. Let'S jump right into this install this wig is for material and it's a perfect hairline wig and it's a 13 by 6 lace to the front so um, i'm just showing you the packaging that it came with, and it's showing you how far back you can actually Part this wig to the front so as i'm taking out the wig uh, i'm just showing you what the wig looks like exactly out of the package and to the back of the package. It shows you instructions as to how to install the wig as well as instructions as to how you can maintain the weight. So this is the tag that comes along with the wig, so it's in the style, katia, and it shows as well on the faction the different shades that you can get this wig in. So i got the wig in the shade 1b. The wig is also labeled as a scalp and inside of the packaging. You know on this label and it tells you what exactly is the scalp. So it says that it's a skin light toned soft lace, lining that you see um that that you see in this clip right now and it makes spaces between the lines and the age delays appear to be smaller and even more realistic and apparent. So that's what um that underlayer under the lace is for that they showed, and i wanted to try the wig on out of the box to see what it looks like. As for me, i didn't really like that fox scalp that it came with. So i wanted to um do something about that. I did purchase this wig head on amazon and i'm going to put the link in the description below and the package. It came with a weaving cup, some pens, some pins to sort of um, pin the cap down some weaving needles, as well as some hair clips and a roll of weaving thread. So this came in the package on with the wake up and, of course, well. The wig, the wig head and the stun, so this all came in the package i believe i paid maybe 20 on average for it, and it came with all of these in the package. So i'll put the link in the description below so you can check it out up in case you're. Looking for one of these heads and it's in the size, um 22 inches. I believe it comes in three sizes: 20, 1, 22 and 23 inches. So this is the 22 inch and what i want to do right now is: i want to take this layer. That'S on the inside. I want to take this layer off so there's two layers. If you can see the clear part here and there's the spot, i want to take this part out, because it's showing when i put the wig on so i'm just going to place it on there. I'M going to take my time and cut this out and you want to be careful not to cut the lace. It is not necessary for you to actually take this layer off because for me i was going in to tint the lace anyhow, so probably after tinting, the laces wouldn't have shown, but i just wanted to take it off um for personal preference. So you don't necessarily need to take it off it's up to you what you choose to do so um on the packaging. It said that this wig was it's a pre-plucked hairline with natural baby hairs wig. It also comes with a pre-attached elastic band to the back that i showed in the beginning and it's heat styling friendly, so you can feel free to use heat on your wig. It has a natural kinky cool texture, but i assume, if you put some heat in it, you can straighten it out or you can add some slight curls to the wig. It'S up to you so right now, i'm going in and i'm trying to tint the lace. I'M using some foundation um that i had and i'm just tinting the lace so that it can blend. Naturally, with my hairline once i apply the wig after tinting the lace for the wig, i wanted to go right in and cut the lace off to the front that excess lace. So when you're cutting the lace, remember to cut as closely as possible to the hairline and don't forget to pull the baby hairs back so that you don't cut them off, so i'm just cutting and also to the side. I'M cutting off just a little piece, because the wig is a little big for my head, so i'm cutting off an extra piece to this side. So once i'm done cutting the lace, i was ready to fit the lace wig to my head wow. So this is the wig with no glue or anything and damn yes, so it looks wow. So i don't really want to glue the wig down. But what i'm going to do is probably cut some baby hairs to see how it laid cut. Some baby hairs to see how it lay it it's going to lay but yeah i don't want to. I don't really want to glue the wig down, because i do have some other plans for this week. I did not glue um this entire wig. I only sprayed some gossipy goose braid in the front on the hairline of the wig, so that's the only part of this wig. I applied any type of glue everywhere else. It was just resting neatly, i guess and flat on its own and i'm just trying to make the hair liners look as natural as possible to the front and to lay the edges to the front. I'M using some gossipy glue gel. So i'm only putting it in those two places where you see i have the edges pulled down. That'S the only place is that i'm using this gel to the front. I just wanted to put two braids in there to give it a more early 2000s. Look because that's what i was going for with this wig, so i'm only adding two braids to the front and that's the only thing that i'm doing to style this wig and, as i said earlier, this wig is heat styling friendly. So if you want to go in and add some curls or buns or anything to the wig, you can feel free to do that or even to straighten the wig out a bit more because it has that kinky straight texture. You can do that as well as for me, i love the texture of the wig and what it's looking like. So i'm just leaving that, as is once i was done, making the braid, i added a rubber band to the end to seal the braid so that it's not gon na on loose and then i'm gon na do the same procedure on the other side. So this is what the hair looks like after i was done doing the install as for me. I think this here is very well worth the amount that i paid for it because it's a synthetic wig, but it's giving that hd lace, insulation. Everything to me. It looks like it's my hair, it's growing out from my scalp. I just love this wig, it's it looks so natural.
