Outre Lace Front Kelia | How To Put On A Middle Part Lace Front Wig - No Glue | Start To Finish

Hi everybody!

Just wanted to show you all how I wear one of my new wigs! The wig I will be using is "Kelia" by Outre.

This is a middle part wig that only parts down the middle, but it can be styled in different ways.

It's 32 inches long! It feels more like 26-28 inches.

Great for a photoshoot or if you're doing something fancy!

In this video I'll be going over the braid down, unboxing the unit, cutting the lace, plucking the part, and how to put it on.

Hi everybody welcome back to my channel it's plate Milani. Today, I'm going to show you a new weight that I bought from my local beauty supply store for about $ 30. This is the outre lace-front Kalia and it's 32 inches long. It'S a middle part. That only goes down the middle, but you can style around it in different ways. So I'm going to show you everything from the breakdown to cutting the lace clicking apart and how I put it on even the unboxing too. So if you liked this video, give it a thumbs up, share it with a friend and subscribe, you can follow me at Blake Milani, let's get started alright, I am starting with freshly washed hair. I'Ve made a part down the middle and sectioned it into two parts. So I'm now going to cornrow my hair down this side. If you see my previous videos, then you know my struggle with cornrows, but I've been practicing, but my nails are not helping in this case at all. So now I'm just going to braid this down the side and I'm going to use a rubber band to tie the end and I'm just going to continue doing the same step until the entire side is finished and I'm making a medium sized braid not too big And not too small, that's just what I prefer small braids will take me forever and big braids will be too bulky for the middle part wig. So I just took this behind my ear and this side is finished all right now I am going to mirror the side that I've already done. So I am just going to continue the part straight across and braid it down and repeat until the entire side is finished, and this is what my final braid down looks like right now I am going to unbox that way again. This is Kalia and it's 32 inches long, I'm just going to take it out of the packaging and remove the hairnet, and I'm also removing the cardboard from around the lace. And this is the unit. It has a middle part and the lace is still attached and it has two combs on the side and a comb in the back. If you look closer at this part, there's barely even a part there. So we're going to fix that too, and I'm going to cut the tag and if you pull the string by the short end, it'll come right off now, I'm going to cut the lace, I'm just making sure that no stray hairs aren't in the area of the Lace, the goal is to not cut the hair, but to cut the lace, so I'm just using my fingers to brush the hair out of the way of the lace. So I just started by choosing an area on the side to start cutting and I'm cutting majority of the lace off, not all of it. For me, if I cut all of the lace off it'll, give a doll, hairline and it'll be way too straight across. So I'm leaving a little lace on it to make it appear more natural. Then I go back and I trim the lace to give it a cleaner finish. Next, I'm going to put on my wig cap and tuck the braids underneath the cap in the back. I'M also going to cover up the anchor braids in the front with the cap and slide the cap back just a little. Now I'm going to try the wig on without delays and see how I like it and to me I like it. This is fresh out of the box with nothing done, but to me it's a little bulky where the part sits and there's barely even a part there. So we're gon na fix all of this. So now I'm taking about two to three small strands of hair wrapping. It around my finger and plucking the part. This is how I put my part. It'S really really easy. You don't have to worry about tweezers. You just have to be careful to not pull a lot of strands at the same time, because that could potentially rip the lace. So again, I'm only taking about two or three strands of hair wrapping it around my finger and plucking the part and I'm plucking until I see that my part is wide enough and I'm kind of going from the left side to the right side and alternating. I don't want my part really wide and I don't want it how it was in the beginning, so something in the middle and, as you can see, the parts opening up a little bit more. Next, I'm going to take my lot of body edge control and just move the edges that are from underneath the wig cap. Next, I'm going to take my flat iron, it's set on about 300 degrees and I'm just going to get rid of the bulkiness. That is around the part. This also helps the unit lay a little bit flatter and now I'm going to put the unit on again and I'm going to pull it forward all the way to my hairline and secure the combs underneath the cap and underneath the two braids in the front, and It'S already a little bit flatter the parts looking a little better, so I'm just gon na brush it out. So now I'm going to use my la girl Pro concealer, and this is in the color warm honey and I'm just going to apply it directly to the part, and this also makes the part look just a little bit wider and it also blends the lace in With the color of my foundation, and all I'm going to do is just take my finger and press and hold it and just dab it until it blends in and once you do, that it's just about finished, if you want to you, can tie a scarf down Over it as well and then I'll just brush it and finish styling, and that's it. Thank you all so much for watching - and this is just a quick live check of the 32 inches, don't forget to Like share it. Tell a friend and also subscribe.
