For some time, human hir wigs have been controversial, especially for African-American women, who have their own wig style and ideal beauty standards. They like big hair buns, braids, and ponytails. With more and more women showing their natural hair publicly, many women's crazy pursuit has been aroused. Many girls shave their hair and wear wigs, forming the opposite European-centric style.

When you open a women's fashion magazine, it's more likely to be a black model with an African curly hair wig than a model with long and silky straight black hair. Sometimes it's always a fashion trend. Naturally grown hair usually very short, with colored and a little curly. Unfortunately, although natural hair for African-American women has become the standard of social progress, wigs are still subject to many restrictions and regulations in many areas of American society, which are perfectly legal under federal law. But there are still some prejudices and discrimination about the human hair wigs in the real world.

School

School students have always been the goal of human hair restriction. At present, some schools directly formulate policies and regulations to restrict the way students wear their hair to protect other students and prevent some students from creating a special image. Some students can not participate in some school activities, such as campus games and campus dances, and even some students are taught because they wear wigs. The threat of school expulsion is that they wear fancy wigs, which hampers their education and their understanding of wigs.

I think this policy is incorrect. They distinguish students and give them the wrong ideas. African-American students who wear wigs should also be respected. Their hair is  African curly and short, it looks like a sponge. Wearing wigs or turning their hair into braids is also constant respect for others and the pursuit of beauty.

We should understand and respect it.

Workplace

Sometimes we read on some websites that some black female friends could not be hired or dismissed because of their hair.

In the past, the workplace was a bit like a battlefield for ordinary Afro-American women. In the United States, companies can make biased policies and directives in accordance with Chapter VII of the Civil Rights Act 1964. This requires employees to have a decent image, which has a problem. The image of employees depends on the subjective opinions of recruiters and their own prejudices, but it is not without supervision. This has created a new organization, the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission (EEOC). It administers these laws and stipulates that the rules to be enforced by employers should apply equally to all people, regardless of color or race.

As lace front wigs become more and more popular, black and long straight hair will be one of the criteria for a neutral hairstyle. This also requires more African-American women to wear such wigs. At first, they will feel prejudiced.

With more and more people wearing wigs, people are getting used to the existence of human hair wigs.

There are two kinds of wigs we know about, real hair and synthetic wigs. But now more and more people are choosing human hair. For reasons, you can refer to my previous article. It is impossible to restrict human hair. The development of the human hair industry has become an important process to promote social development and an indispensable part of our life. We should manage it correctly and let her develop better. People's interest in human hair wigs will only increase, not decrease.

I believe that the development of wigs is inseparable from the promotion and struggle of African-American women, which is also an equal reflection of their performance.

We can also create more equality awareness in schools and workplaces and share this article with friends.
