4 Easy Valentine'S Day Hairstyles | Perfect For Short Hair

Ah, but 2 a.m. I'm freakin exhausted, hey guys, it's Jackie and welcome back to my channel in today's video I'm going to show you guys, four different hairstyles that you can wear for Valentine's Day truthfully. You can wear them any time of the year, but I just wanted to make one dedicated for Valentine's Day. So I tried to make these very like soft and romantic. So hopefully it fits the occasion and your guys's opinions and um yeah. I hope you guys enjoyed these four looks. So let's get started so look number one is an easy voluminous updo and I am starting off with some soft curls in my hair. You don't necessarily need to do this. I just like the texture of my hair when it's curled and I like working and doing updos when it's curled but anyways. You want to create a section in front of your ear like this and just tie it off with a hair tie to get it out of the way you want to do the same thing to the other side as well. Now we're going to section off the back part of our hair, so all the sections that we're creating it's! Okay, if they're not perfect, but you want to create a section and tie up the back part. So the middle section is loose and not tied up coming from so you should have a front section, a middle section and a back section and we're going to work with the middle section first, so you want to start by teasing your hair, so tease that whole Middle section right now, so now you want to flip your hair back and push it all to one side. It really doesn't matter what side and you want to. You can brush it out a little bit, so it's not as crazy and we're going to lightly twist. The front hair back you're just twisting it back similar to like a French twist motion and you want to just keep twisting down and once you get to the end, you want to twist it a few more times and then you can push up the hair like This to create bigger volume or you can keep it down, so this is like whatever your personal preference is, so I'm just going to adjust the way I like it and just secure it with a few bobby pins. Now, moving on to the back section of our hair, I'm just going to create a little bun. You can actually do whatever you want here. I can't really do anything too fancy, because my hair is still pretty short, so I'm just doing a bun and yes, I did accidentally leave a little hair out, but I pinned it back once I realized it now we're going to take the front section and I, Like to leave a few little strands in front of my ear to frame my face, but with the rest of the hair, I'm going to pin it back towards the bun. If you have longer hair it'd be nice. If you actually like wrap the hair around the bun, but my hair is still pretty short, so this is as far as it can go, but I'm just going to do that and maybe touch up some curls like so and then we're going to do the same. To the next side, I really like having the hair with like the curls in front of my ears. I think it just gives it a softer romantic look and then because you guys know, I love volume, I'm going to grab onto the bun and pull out some of my hair to make it a little Messier and a little more voluminous. You can make this hairstyle. Look a lot more neater and put together, but my hairstyles are always messy, because that's just my style, I like it better that way, and that is it for the first look. This second look is an easy twist back hairstyle and you just want to have the natural soft, curls and you're going to take a section in the front of the hair just twist it back like this super simple and this might be gross, but I am going To actually hold the twist in my mouth while I do the same thing to the next side, so I'm just going to twist it back and then once I have both of my twists, I'm going to connect them in the back together and if you have longer Hair, this will work out a lot better, but now I'm going to twist the two together like this, as you can tell my hair - is still really short, so it only twists a few times and I'm pushing up, and do you see how, like it kind of Just added some extra volume to the top of my hair by pushing up the twist like that. So just do that and then secure it with bobby pins, and that is it for this look there you go super easy look. Number three is a braided side look and I actually wear this quite a lot. I really like doing this and it's super easy, so you just want to take a front section of your hair and the side that has the most hair like. If you have a side part and you want to just go ahead and do a normal braid, and so you don't have to French braid or anything, fancy like that, just do a normal braid down your hair and then I'm going to lift up some of my Hair and bobby pin it underneath like this. So that way, when we lay the hair right on top, it covers bobby pins and tada. And now, because you guys know, I love the voluminous braids, I'm going to pull apart the braid a little bit to make it thicker and just a fatter braid. I love fat, braids they're awesome. So once I'm done with that, I'm going to take the rest of my hair and bring it to the opposite side and just secure with a few bobby pins, and that is basically it. So if you have some soft curls, it really just adds such a romantic feel for this look now. This last and final look is a classic bohemian updo that I've actually done a tutorial on before, but I thought I'd show it again because it's one of my favorite looks and possibly the easiest, so you want to go ahead and put on a elastic headband like This and then take a section of hair and just twist it back and tuck it in to the headband like so, and you can secure it with some bobby pins if your hair tends to fall out, and that is basically it. So I'm going to continue this all throughout the rest of my hair. Add some bobby pins and you have a classic bohemian updo. So that's it for this video. I hope you guys enjoyed.
