So what is up africana fam? It'S your girl, young afrikaner, back at it again with another banger and today is day two of the love series. This is my second valentine's day. Inspired. Look i'm gon na show you guys how i achieve this hair. This color the install the makeup everything this is going to be a hair plus makeup two in one tutorial. So if you guys want to see how i achieve this entire look from start to finish, then keep on watching all right so on to coloring. First, i'm going to go in with my kiss color temptation in the color crimson and i'm going to watercolor. So i'm going to have a bucket of warm water um, not too much not too little just enough water inside the bucket and i'm going to mix that die inside and then use my comb just to make sure that there's no flying dye around. We want to make sure it's nice and mixed and all together, okay and i used about three bottles all together for both the bundles and the frontal so um this the hair is from me. I got a 20 inch, hd, 613 lace, frontal and then two 26s and a 24 inch bundle, and this is n613 body weight. So i'm just going to go ahead and um. You know dye the frontal first, i do have my frontal protected with some gossipy gel and free spray. I used two layers of that and let that dry completely before i did this entire method. So right now, i'm just dipping in the frontal first and i'm gon na make sure that you know i dip it in nice and saturated um comb through the hair just to make sure you've got every single strand, please comb through the hair and also too. I know people are worried about if, like you know, the lace is going to get dyed, but it did not die because i have it protected as well. So no worries it's all good, and now i'm just going to go ahead and dye the bundles, the same color, making sure i'm dipping it and combing it through. While i'm dipping it. So everything could be saturated all right, y'all now on to the front toes so we're going to go into the rootage, i'm using my adore die in the color blue, black and then red storm in my kiss temptation. Semi-Permanent and i mix those two together to kind of get like a deep, deep, velvety type look and right now i have my hair sectioned in four sections um and it's split down the middle, so i have four sections all together and i'm gon na use my Die brush and just um dye, the perimeter of the hairline first before i go in between the hair just to get in between, and you know, dye the roots and that's how i make sure that everything is kind of even the the dye on the perimeter is Kind of like my guideline to how far i should go with the dye, you know so yeah, so i'm gon na go ahead and just just dye that and i like to lift underneath as well just so that the die is nice and saturated on both sides Of the parts and i'm going to do this all around the hair, pretty repetitive and yeah yeah, but, like i said i have it parted in four sections. Just so it's easier for me, i feel like working in sections is a lot neater and pretty much. I'M just going to go in with my comb and just lightly just comb through just the root part. Only just so it could look nice and diffused and not too harsh, and i let that i washed it out after an hour and then let it air dry and made it into a wig all right. So now that the wig is dry, i'm going to go ahead and start cutting some layers into the wig, i'm going for some pretty long layers, but you know the the infamous side um. You know deep bang type situation, you know, so the front is going to be a lot shorter than the back, but i'm just going to go ahead and just cut in a diagonal motion. My shears i'm going to kind of downward motion um, like i said the top is going to be, especially where the bang area is going to be it's going to be a lot shorter than the rest of the hair. The rest of the hair is just going to be long layers, so i just like to go ahead and go on both sides and kind of cut in like a v motion and it should create a natural v once i'm done, i'm cutting diagonally and now, as You guys can see i'm going back in the bang area just to make it a lot shorter, i'm going to like judge it, i'm going to like judge it just to see how it's going to lay um. I don't want to cut it too short, so i'm going to leave it pretty long and probably cut the rest of it later, if need be, because i'd, rather it be too long than for it to be too short. Now i'm going to go into my cheese, silk, infusion iron guard and my bio silk and i'm just going to go ahead and apply that all around the hair make sure the hair is nice and moisturized before i start curling the hair, and now i'm going into My babyliss one and one half inch curling iron and i'm just going to go ahead and curl away from the face, and after i'm done doing that, i'm just going to go ahead and pin curl. It y'all, like my hand, positioning sucks when it comes to curling hair. I curl better with a marcel iron than a regular clamp, curling iron. Don'T ask me how i just i just suck so don't mind me struggling the curls still be curling, though so yeah, but, like i said, i'm gon na go ahead and curl it. I'M gon na hold the curl and then use one of my um pins. Just to pin it down so it could cool down, and this is how you get like nice long, lasting curls when you just pin it down and let the heat retain into the curl until it cools down now for the top two sections um, i'm just going To go ahead and curl upwards in a sense just so i could get that nice um bang effect. Now that everything is curled, i'm going to go into my t, hairspray and the level of hold this is on is on four i'm going to spray that around the hair. So now that we're done we're going to apply the wig and cut some slits onto the wig, i already have my ball cap method on and i already have my forehead wiped down with alcohol and prepped with my erica j skin guard. So i'm going to go into the erica j, watermelon adhesive and i'm going to apply two layers around my hairline and i just like to use the middle part of my rat tail comb just to smooth out the glue, and i like to wait after i'm done. Smearing it out wait for the first layer to dry completely clear before i apply the second layer uh. Now that the second layer is nice and dry, i'm going to go ahead and apply the wig i like to go down with the middle section first and then go side by side and, as you guys can see, i'm just placing the wig and making sure the Hairline is in front of the glue not directly on it or behind it, and now i'm just using my blow dryer on on medium heat and i'm just using my comb just to press down the lace into the glue. This is just helped the melting process even more then, starting off with the middle section i like to go in with my eyebrow razor and i'm going to go ahead and just cut across not a cross, but in a jagged motion right next to where the hairline Is so now on to the baby hairs, i'm gon na carve out two on each side, so one where like wears right next to the part and then my tendrils and on the other side as well, so pretty much my temple area and then my tendrils, i'm Going to be carving out some baby hairs and i don't want the hair to be too thick when i'm pulling it out and now i'm going to go in with my hot comb and i'm going to press down those baby hair. So it's nice and flat now to melt my lace, i'm going into my gossipy freeze spray, i'm going to spray that all around the perimeter of my hairline and i'm going to use an elastic band and apply that right on top and i let the elastic band Sit for 15 minutes and i'm going to go ahead and just kind of blow dry so that the the spray can dry and now that the 50 minutes is done, i'm going to go ahead and take off the elastic band and boom. We are melted. Now i'm going to go ahead and use my eyebrow razor just to cut those baby hairs, i like to keep them a bit on the longer side. So if i need to cut them later on, i would so probably about an inch and a half, and now i'm going to go ahead and use my nairobi setting lotion and i'm going to use my baby hair comb and just swoop my baby hairs into the Hairline now on to makeup, i'm going to use my juvia's place. Congo foundation stick and i'm going to apply that as the base of my eyelids we're going for a smoky eye and i'm going to go into fluffy brushes to kind of mat out that area. And then i'm going to go into my warrior. 2 palette from juvia's place and apply the color shawata as my eyelid color for that smokey eye, and then on top i'm going to go ahead and use the color yodit. As my transition color and i'm going to go back and forth in between those two colors and kind of blend in between until i get a nice seamless look, so i already have my face primed and i'm gon na go ahead and go into my lancome tentai Dough foundation in the color and my um beauty foundation and the color t2c, and i mix those two up um to get my foundation color and i'm just going to go ahead and use my insta pop brush from real techniques. Just to buff. That in i like to go into a smaller buffer brushes to get near the hairline without me getting makeup on the hairline and also my forehead too, because it's a bit smaller than the rest of my face now onto concealer, i like to go into my maybelline Age, rewind concealer in the color, deep bronze and i'm just going to go ahead and highlight underneath my eyes my nose, the t-zone area, and you know my mustache and my chin. Now to blend it out. I like to blend out the outer parts of the concealer with my foundation brush just so that my foundation and the concealer can marry each other and it could be nice and seamless. And then i'm going to go into my morphe g2 brush and just um blend out the rest of my concealer. Now i'm going in with my morphe continuous setting spray just to um give my face some. You know some some dampness, i'm gon na go into my laura mercier powder in the color medium deep. Just to set my face now i like to go into my juvia's place: bronzer and the color deep dark, i'm going to use the darkest color just to kind of um. You know do my contour on my cheeks as well as my nose now, i'm using my damp beauty, blender just to kind of chisel out my nose. So it looks nice and snatched and i go back in with um a bit of the powder as well too. Just to help chisel my nose now i'm going back into the warrior 2 palette and underneath the black that i put i'm going to go ahead and use that same brown that i use just to kind of diffuse that black, because we're going for a nice smoky Eye and now i'm just going to go ahead and use my foundation brush just to pat off any of the excess powder i have on my face and now i'm going back into the bronzer palette, but this one is the deep one or is it dark? I think it's dark and i'm using the darkest shade of that one. As my blush and i'm going to go into my amrezy highlighter and just apply that on the button of my nose - and i did apply my lashes and a little bit of some gems underneath off camera because i wasn't in frame when i was recording. So that's a little bit annoying, but it's okay um but yeah. I got those gems from amazon and i just used my eyelash glue just to apply it so yeah, that's how that that was done. Um. But now i'm going to go into my italia, black lip liner and i'm going to top that with my juvia's place, lip liner and the color cola just to give myself a nice dark brown. I don't know i feel like i haven't found like a dark. A really deep brown lip liner that has like, i guess, worked for me. You know so i just mix it too it's okay and then i'm going into the juvie's place lip gloss in the color sis and then to set my face again, i'm going to go back in with the continuous setting spray and i like to use my foundation Brush just to pat in that setting spray, so my face can truly set now that we're done with the makeup, i'm going to go ahead and start taking down the pink curls, and then i'm just going to go ahead and just use like a big comb. Just to kind of comb it out and play around with it until i get the look that i'm going for now to make the hair look neater, i'm going to go in with my character, wax stick and just press out the front of my hair. So everything can just kind of lay like pretty flat and seamlessly and i'm just going to press out the entire hairline. Until i get the look that i want now, i'm just going to go ahead and use some leftover, concealer and just conceal my part. So it could look more defined and now i'm just going to go in with my shears and cut off some more layers and i'm just going to keep on just playing around with it. Until i get the desired. Look that i want and i'm just going to go in the bang area and just kind of twist it and then cut in a diagonal motion. Now that my baby hairs are nice and dry, i'm just going to go ahead and just comb out those baby hairs because y'all know i don't like my crunchy baby hairs at all and overall, these are the finished results.
