So what is up africana fam? It'S your girl, young afrikaner, back at it again with another video and the first series of the year. You already know how it went down last year for last year's love series. This is day one of season. Two of the love series y'all: i did some fine wine type, looking hair, i'm feeling it it's nice and voluminous, giving marilyn monroe, but the melanin one of course um melanin monroe. There we go um but overall i'm to be showing you guys how i achieved this hair color this install and the makeup. So you got a two-in-one hair and makeup, get ready with me valentine's day edition. So if you guys want to see how i achieve this beautiful look from start to finish, then keep on watching all right, y'all so on to the coloring we're going to go ahead and start off with the watercolor method. You'Re going to need yourself a nice bucket of warm water and the color i'll be using as my base is, the kiss temptation color and the color fuchsia, and i'm going to go ahead and pop, probably like the half of the bottle. Almost three-fourths of the bottle into the water and i'm gon na go ahead and mix it around making sure that the dye is not flying around and it is nice and mixed and the hair that i'm using is from my personal bender aka. My future wig line stay tuned y'all. I know i've been saying this, but i'm kind of manifesting it too so stay tuned, but i do have my 613 hd lace, front tool and the inches of 14 inches, and then i have two bundles of 10 and 14.. So right now, i'm just taking the frontal and i'm just dying the hair to be that fuchsia light color we're going for that everything, tay, billy, eylish type, look, but just with different colors, of course um. So i'm just going to go ahead and use this as a base, and you already know i love watercoloring, so we're going to watercolor everything. Okay, so we're going to go ahead and just you know dip that hair in until you get the color payoff that you're. Looking for and then off camera after i'm done, i went ahead and parted it in the middle part um just so i can do the the ends of it to be a darker ombre and then i'll be using black cherry and red velvet mixed together to do The ombre part, and when i'm doing this, i just like to go ahead and dip just one side. First and when you're dipping it, you want to make sure that you dip but also use your comb to comb through, just so that there's no line of demarcation and that's how you get that. You know that flush that nice, blended, ombre yeah we're not going for. No shallopy ombre, so i like to go on one side and then i'm gon na go ahead and do the other making sure that the middle part does not disappear and i'm gon na go ahead and do that on each side, making sure that they're equal until I get the color payoff, i'm just going to go ahead and dip my bundles into that same die. Overall, i used about two black cherries and one of the red velvets for both of the bundles. For me to get the color that i got and i made it into a wig all right, you guys, so the wig is finally dried and i'm gon na go ahead and start placing it on my head just to see where i'm going to cut any excess Lace, as you guys can see, i'm gon na go around my ear, just so that the wig could fit nice and snug around my ear and overall, my head, and i just like to use a rat tail comb just to part out the part that i'm cutting Out then use my shears just to cut off the excess lace and right now, i'm just re-centering my part just so i could get ready for the styling portion and i'm going to go ahead and use my carry care wax, stick just to hide any of the Flyaway hairs that are on top and now i'm going to transfer the wig onto my dome head and i'm going to use my hot comb on the second hardest setting and i'm just going to go ahead and flatten it out and just prep it for styling and Overall, i just like to get around the part area as well as the hairline, so that it's nice and flat and i'll be taking my rat tail comb just to part out a little section in the back of the frontal. So i can cover up that track. That is right. On top of the frontal, i'm just going to go ahead and comb, it back and then use my cara care wax, stick just to mold it into place and then use my hot comb just to mold it more into place now on to cutting some layers, i'm Going to start with the top portion of the frontal and i'm going to use my shears and it's cut in a downward diagonal motion and what i'm doing is i'm just kind of creating like a v motion um how my wig is constructed. I do have 10 inches in the back and the 14 inch on top, so i'm more so taking more hair off the top than the bottom, because the bottom is already short. So just a heads up. So if you have like the shortest at the bottom and the longest on top like i do, you have to take more from the top. So, as you guys can see, i'm just going to go in vertical sections and just kind of cut off those little fray hairs from the top of the hair, and i'm just going to keep on doing this. Taking some hair from the top. Creating some layers going in a downward motion until everything looks pretty even and like there's no straggly hairs at the bottom, as you guys can see. Look at that long hair compared to the hair that i had just cut um, so yeah, i'm just taking some vertical sections only on the top just so i could pretty much kind of match up to the bottom and then create some layers on top now, i'm Going to go ahead and go back in around the hair and take some vertical sections up top and then cut it just upwards um just so everything can match up, as you guys can see. That looks uneven. So i'm just going to go ahead and cut those off all right. Now, on to the curling, i'm using my chi iron guard, which is a flat ironing spray or heat protectant, i'm going to go ahead and spray it on each part, so how i'm curling my hair, i'm going to go ahead and curl my hair in opposite directions. So what i mean by that is some hairs would curl you know inwards. Some will curl out and i'm gon na curl um. How do i explain this? This is so hard. I'M gon na curl, like every other curl, a different direction, so one is going to be going to the left, the other one's going to be going to the right, and i'm just doing this for um volume, because i feel like when you curl the same way Or when you're curling away from your face on one section and then the other it just it's not as voluminous as say, if you're curling in different directions, so i'm just curling in different directions. There we go, and i take about two to three tracks per section, and now i'm gon na go ahead and work on the top now, for the top part, i'm strictly just only curling away from the face you guys so um. I just like to do this. Just so, okay um, you know it could look more uniform up top, but volume is on the bottom. So that's just my way of doing it because i don't want my curls looking crazy, crazy. You know so i just took a couple of tracks, plus the frontal and i'm gon na curl them all together in different sections and the curling iron that i am using is my marcel iron from hot tools, and this is the 3 4 inch barrel and marcel Iron is a bit different from your regular standard, curling iron. You got to put some wrist action when you're actually using this. Sometimes i still struggle using this y'all um but yeah. This is the iron that i'm using on my hair, and i feel like it just gives you more of curly curls versus your standard, clamp, curling iron, all right now on to the install i'm going to go ahead and wipe my forehead off with 91 alcohol. I already have my ball cap done and if you guys want a video on updated way on how i do my ball cap comment, that down below that, you guys want it and it shall be done. Okay, but right now, i'm gon na go ahead and use. My erica j hold me down skin guard, i'm gon na spray that all over my hair - and now i am just positioning the wig where i want it to be at when i'm gluing it down. You know make sure that it's reaching from ear to ear and i'm going to go ahead and take my shears and cut some slits near the temple areas. And this just helps me like kind of like you know, stretch and you know pull when i need to when i'm applying it on the glue. So now i'm going to go ahead and flip it upwards and now on to the glue i'll be using my erica j homie down adhesive the watermelon one and i'm gon na apply two layers. So i'm gon na apply my first layer right now and then use the metal part of my rat tail comb just to smear out the glue and i'm just going to go ahead and apply that and let that dry clear before i apply my second layer and Again, like i said, i'm only using two layers now that the second layer is nice and clear, i'm going to go ahead and take the middle section first and place the wig down where i wanted to i'm gon na place it right in front of the glue, Not directly on it or behind it, but in front of it - and you just want to make sure it's nice and positioned before you decide to press it down, because this glue do stick y'all. So now that i haven't where i want to position now, i'm going to go ahead and press it down to make sure that it's nice and adhered to the glue. Now i'm going to go ahead and take my eyebrow razor and cut in a jagged motion right next to the hairline and i'm going to go ahead and do this all around the hairline. Now i'm just going to go ahead and glue down any of the lace that i have missed and again i'm just applying two layers and letting the first layer dry completely clear. Before i apply the second one and then i'm just going to go ahead with the teeth of the comb, just to press down the lace into the glue now onto baby hairs, i'm going to go ahead and just use my tip of the rat tail comb and I'M gon na go ahead and carve out my baby hairs. I'M only doing four baby hairs with two on each side, one on the temple and then one where the tendrils are. Then i like to go into my hot comb on the second hardest setting. So on 15, i'm just gon na go ahead and press it down just so that it's nice and flat and i'm gon na go ahead and do this on both sides. Some a little spray nozzle dip breaks, but i'm using my fantasia spritz and i'm gon na go ahead and use. You know the tip of the spray nozzle to apply it onto the lace, just that it can melt nicely y'all. Now i'm going to go ahead and just use my elastic band and put it around my head and let that sit for about 15 minutes. Another 15 minutes is up. This is how the lace is looking nice and laid per usual, and i'm just going to go back in with my hot comb just to press out that hairline. Now i'm going to go in with my eyebrow razor and i'm just going to go ahead and just cut off um some of the hair. I like to keep it a bit long, just in case. So if i need to cut more, i could cut more versus me trying to glue back on here um, but now i'm going to go in with my tvx flat iron. This is the 3 4 inch flat iron and i'm just going to go ahead. Actually, not the one third inch flat iron, i'm gon na go ahead and curl my baby hairs and try to do the ericante method. I feel like i'm still learning how to do this. Y'All, like i feel like i'm, not doing it like how the girlies be doing it, i mean. Nevertheless, it came out pretty decent, but i feel like i can do better like. I wanted to look like how the girlies we do win it on ig, but we digress um, but i'm using my nairobi setting lotion and i'm going to go ahead and apply that onto the baby hairs and then use my baby hair comb just to swoop some Things into the hairline now the baby hairs are dying, i'm going to go ahead and comb out the hair and really start playing with it. Just to see how it's looking because i do want to cut at least if i want to cut layers, i'm going to cut it before i do like my makeup and get hair all over me and stuff. So i'm just playing around with it comb and get out, don't be scared to comb it out. Y'All, like the whole point of tacoma now, so it could look big and fluffy, so um yeah, i'm just kind of testing out the hair and seeing how it looks. I definitely did cut some more layers, especially in the front, because i feel like it was a bit too long and i wanted it to be very, very short and just layer full. You know so i'm just taking random pieces and using my shears and cutting in a downward motion diagonally just to get them layered popping all right. Yes, on to makeup, i'm going in with my lancome tentai doll foundation, the color 560 mixed in with my um beauty foundation in the color t2c, and i'm using my small insta pop brush from real techniques just to buff. That in and when my baby ears are dry, i like to just lift them up, because i don't like i don't want to comb them out just yet um i like to lift them up just so. I can apply makeup in that area. I'M just gon na apply this all over the face. Um just be very, very careful. I like to use a smaller brush from my forehead, just so that i don't get it on the lace, because a caked up lace is not fun and it's not cute either. Y'All y'all over here are going to be walking around looking like you got a whole skin condition, it's just it just don't be given so yeah, i'm just using my morphe small buffer brush and i'm just going to go ahead and just apply the foundation onto my Forehead and in the creases and crevices of my face, but now on to concealer, i'm using my maybelline age, rewind concealer and the color deep bronze and i'm just gon na highlight in the areas that i'm highlighting at now going back into my morphe e38 brush. I'M just going to go ahead and just diffuse and marry the foundation with the concealer just around those um outlying edges. So it could just you, know, mess together and now i'm going in with my morphe g2 brush and i'm just going to go ahead and diffuse out that concealer and i like to save the under eyes for last, just so that it could be more opaque. Now, i'm just gon na go back in with my foundation, brushes to make sure that there are no lines of demarcation with the concealer or the foundation, and everything is just nice and blended. Don'T be scared to double check. Y'All work y'all all right now on to powder, i'm using my laura mercier translucent powder in the color medium deep, and i'm applying that in the areas that i had originally applied. My concealer at now for bronzer, i'm going in with my juvia's place, bronzer palette in the color deep dark and i'm using the darkest color just to chisel out the areas of my cheeks and my nose. I don't like to go on my forehead with that. Just because of the lace again um, you know, i don't want to darken the lace or just do anything that would you know just disrupt the lace. I just don't it's not good y'all, but now i'm going in with the angled brushes to um. You know contour my nose, so it can be nice and snatched, and now i'm going back into my setting powder with my damp beauty, blender just to make sure that i'm chiseling out that nose area and again just so it looks snatched. Okay. Now i'm going into my juvia's place foundation, stick in the color congo and i'm just applying that as a base on my lids and i like to go in with a small fluffy brush and i'm just going to go ahead and just you know, drag it out And blend it out, so it's nice and um. You know flat and seamless, and i also like to bring that towards like my nose contour at the very ends like towards like the beginning of my eyebrows, i feel like it just gives like that. Muddle-Less type. Look! You know so yeah, that's what i do you don't have to do that though, but i kind of just joined them together, so it could all just be one the eyeshadow plus the nose contour. So that's just me y'all. So now i'm gon na go back into the palette, the bronzer palette and the color deep, dark the juvies place palette and i'm gon na use the second darkest shade, which is, i don't know the name of it. Actually, i'm gon na go ahead and apply it onto my eyelids and then kind of join it where my nose contour is, as you guys can see, and i just feel like it just brings the look together like there's no gaps like in between, like it's, not Contour then concealer then eye shadow, it's just shadow and then contour. I don't know if you guys get the drift that i'm trying to get at but yeah. So i went ahead and did the rest of my eyes off about to say offline. I did the rest of my eyes off camera y'all and now i'm gon na go ahead and just buff out the excess powder. That'S on my face with the same foundation brush that i use and yeah you're, just gon na gon na go ahead, and just do that. Y'All just take off all that excess powder, as you guys can see like the makeup, is just looking flawless like the makeup. Is makeuping and that's on period all right, but now i'm gon na go in with my uh glue, my eye shadow glue. No, my eyelash glue my bad y'all, i'm tweaking right now, but i'm gon na go in with my eyelash glue and i got these little like bedazzles from michael's. It'S like in a rose gold color and i'm going to go ahead and apply that and i'm going to go ahead and set my face with my morphe continuous setting spray, i'm going to pack that bad boy in with the foundation brush the foundation brush is clearly Key y'all all right so, as you guys can see, i'm still not satisfied. So i'm gon na go ahead and just cut some more layers like i wanted the layers to just be damn near bangs y'all, like that's how short i wanted my layers to be yeah, as you guys can see it just it gives a difference. Y'All just see the layers layering come on, but yeah i'm just going to go ahead and play around again with this hair, and i feel like one thing i wish that i did was just. I wish that i added an extra bundle of hair just so it could be like more on the fuller side like it's pretty full, but it could be fuller. You know just so i could give that more vavavoom and also to another thing that i wish i did you know, and it's not too crispy my work, but you know i could always feel like i could. I could do better is uh put the longest at the bottom instead of the shortest at the bottom, but yeah. That'S besides the point. Y'All um, it's still a fire and that's all that matters. I'M gon na go ahead and apply some concealer on the part. Just so it looks nice and you know defined and now we're gon na comb out the crunchy baby hairs. You already know how i feel about them: baby hairs being crunchy, it's a no-go, so i'm just using my baby hair comb just to comb out the hair, and these are the finished results.
