Hi guys its rate so recently, given that you summer here in Australia, I've had some summer themed videos and I thought it would be fun for me to share with you guys my favorite sort of go to quick, easy, simple summer updo for my hair, now, hair Tutorials, I don't do that, many of them purely because it's I'm not the greatest up filming them, but I'm gon na give it a go. Hopefully you guys will be able to see how to do this hairstyle. It is really quick. It'S really simple! You don't need to be a hair master to be able to do it, and if you do try and recreate this look, I would love to see pictures so make sure you share them with me all my social media is listed down below. I would love to see your sort of summer updos and obviously, while I say it's summer, you could wear this autumn winter spring whenever you want. It also probably works well for day, and four nights was one of those hairstyles that you can kind of just transition from day to night. Ok, so with that being said, let's get started. You can start with your hair straight wavy, natural, whatever you would like. I kind of like it to start off a little bit wavy just because it gives you that kind of bohemian, more relaxed kind of feel to it. I also would suggest starting off with a little bit of dry, shampoo or some sea salt spray to give your hair a little bit of texture. So I'm just going to spray a little bit of mine into my roots. You can also spray it into the lengths of your hair as well, and i am using the batiste dry shampoo with a hint of color. This is the medium / brunette shade, so once you've done that you just want to really work that into the roots of your hair. Ok, so next we're going to do a little bit of teasing again. This is optional. It'S more just to give your roots a little bit of volume, a little bit of lift if that something that you want, if you're, not a fan of teasing your hair, you can skip this step. It'S not going to make a difference. It will still work out i'll. Just give you a slightly different look and when I say teasing, i'm really not doing a lot, i'm just doing a little bit in the roots, so just separate your hair and have your hair parted in the center or on the side. Whatever you prefer, I got ta go for a side part because well that's just what suits me. What you really want to do is tease the crown of your hair, so just sort of take a section. Almost like you're doing your hair, half up half down just run your brush along that I'm just using this teasing brush from Hedgehog, but even just a little comb would work. Fine! Okay! Once that's done, you want to grab your headband, so you can really go for whatever you want. I have chosen this gold leaf one here. It kind of has that Grecian, goddess kind of look to it. I believe this was from lovisa, but you can get something like this in a whole different place as a quip collect here in australia, but i'm sure a lot of hair accessory stores would sell something similar to this. The other one that i've used for this. Look that i really really love. Is this cute one here i thought this is fun for some of this is from bando. I got mine off the taylor swift website, but you can also get it from well. You could at least get it from the banjo website, but just something find it like this: whatever you would prefer. What you want to do is pull that down over your head and pull all your hair through. Then you want to bring it back up over your head. This can be a little bit tricky as you can see, but you just kind of make it work. This one is particularly difficult because it twists, but you just kind of got to untwist it and then what you want to do is pull through all the half sort of from that front section. So it's probably easier for me to explain, but basically any of the hair that sits in front of the headband pull that back through. You can also you fix up your part. As you can see, I've lost my part a little bit, so i am going to fix that up as well once that's time, you're just going to pull your hair back into a low ponytail. Now, if you like, having hair frame your face, don't worry, i will pull out pieces again. If you like tap all your hair off your face, then you can just pull it all back. It'S really up to you, so you just want to kind of at the base of your head. You don't want it right on your neck, but you don't want to too high either tie it up, but don't go too tight because we will need to loosen this. A little bit once that's done, you can pull out some of the front sections of your hair for this next section. You want to create kind of like a topsy-turvy twist in your ponytail of you were around in the 90s, and you might remember those things that was kind of like a plastic sort of stick that had a loop at the end that you could use to create. Little topsy-turvy twists in your ponytail we're going to do that. You don't need any kind of devices. What you want to do is just loosen your ponytail at the back and then we're going to create a hole in the center of that section and then twist our ponytail through. So you created that hole right in the center there, and then you just want to take the end of your ponytail. You can twist it if that's easier and then start feeding it through. You go to twist just like that. Once that's done, what you want to do is take whatever's left up in your ponytail and do a standard three strand, braid or plat. If you've never done one of those before they are really simple, and there are plenty of tutorials on YouTube showing you how to do it, I've mentioned it before in some of my other videos as well. You basically just separating the hair into three sections and then putting one section over the center section, so it becomes the middle. Then the opposite side over the center section said that one becomes the middle. Then the original side to the center. Then the fireside to the center - and you just continue that all the way down once you get as far as you can go to the bottom, you just want to take a small hair tie and tie that one off now you want to loosen that plat by Just pulling add it slowly from the base working your way up, once that's done we're going to loop this up to create a bun, so you're, basically going to almost do another twist through your hair, but this time we're going to stop and then pin it in Place so you're going to need some bobby pins for this, so you just want to pull that brave up and twist it back through the little hole that we created earlier once you've got that push through then you can just all be pin in place. Ok guys! So that is pretty much it, as you can see, it was really simple to do, doesn't require a lot of products or a lot of time. You can do this in under five minutes if you're, quick and you have a really cute updo. So I hope you guys enjoyed this tutorial. Let me know what other summer themed videos you guys would like to see in the future another and that I'm gon na go. I will see you guys all in my next video, so soft. Ever since every day I he is same
