How To: Romantic Valentine'S Day Hair And Makeup

Hi guys so today, I'm gon na be showing you all my Valentines Day. Inspired. Look. The first part is going to be me, showing you how I got my hair like this, and it's so easy and so quick and then the second part is going to be the makeup which I'm wearing right now also - and it just consists of a nice natural-looking, Pink lip some nice pink foot, blushed cheeks and some natural pink makeup. So, overall the look I was going for was just an ethereal look, really glowy, really natural and just something that would be good, whether you're going out with your friends or you have a date with a special someone you're going out with your family, your parents, staying At home - and you just want to get dressed up for the heck of it, whatever you're doing, this is perfect for that so yeah. I hope you guys enjoyed it and let's go ahead and get started alright. So this is my hair straight out of the shower. Wash conditioned heat, protectant blow-dry and you end up with this lovely me. So the first thing I'm going to be using is a tres, amaze, thermal creations, heat tamer spray, and I really like this. It really makes your hair soft and shine, and I'm gon na do is I'm just gon na spray, this side of my hair, I've just just divided my hair in half, and I'm just gon na start on this side and just kind of comb it through and Let it dry a little bit and you really want to concentrate on the ends. Then I'm gon na take my very fabulous super expensive con air curling iron. This cost $ 13. I think at Target and it is on heat setting. I don't even know because it got scratched off, but it's the highest heat setting. So what I'm gon na do is I'm not even gon na divide, my hair up, I just have it split in half and I'm just gon na grab layers like this about one-inch piece and I'm going to take my curling iron and I'm not going to use The little clamp that you see, I'm gon na wrap my hair around the barrel away from my face and I'm not gon na go all the way up. I'M just gon na stay at the ends of my hair and then just let it fall. You want to stay below your ear level, cuz! That'S how we're gon na achieve the really romantic soft curls. Look alright! So I'm finished with this side of my hair, and this is what it looks like it's really soft and I just have really loose romantic curls. I guess you would say so now: I'm just gon na take Pantene's style volume, hairspray which looks like this, and this is a flexible hairspray and I really really like it. It says maximum hold, but it still leaves your hair really touchable all day long and that's what I like, so I'm just gon na lightly spray this. So let's go ahead and move on to the fun step, which is the makeup of course, so yeah let's get started, or this way all right, I'm not really sure which way. But yeah let's go so. The first thing I'm gon na do is just tuck. My hair behind my ears, so it doesn't drive me nuts and then I'm going to take my Too Faced shadow insurance, which looks like this, and this is just an eye primer which will help prevent your eye shadow or eye products from creasing throughout the day. Because we do not want that, so I'm just gon na put this all over my eyelids now you're gon na want to take a Paint Pot. I'M using Mac's fresco rose, which is a pink color like this, and this is just gon na be a nice creamy base for our eyeshadows. You don't have to use this. You can use it. I shadows straight and without this cream base I just like putting a little hint of color underneath I'm going to take my flat makeup. Brush looks like this and then benefits velvet eyeshadow in leggy, and this is just a really light: pink shimmery, color, okay, so I'm gon na get a little bit on my brush tap off any excess. Well, there's a lot of excess on that. Okay, so I'm just gon na put this all over my entire lid and you can see how much shimmer it gives to my eyes and that's what we want, because you want a really really glowy. Look just a really nice natural ethereal. Look so all over the lid okay. So now I'm going to use a benefit spell that I shadow in buckle, bunny and I'm gon na use my crease brush. That looks like this, and this is just a little bit darker than the leggy color, and so it looks like this. It'S also and the pink family, but it has some brown in it. So it's not like a bright, pink or anything, and I'm just gon na put this end up my crease just to give a little bit of bit of depth to my eyes, then I'm gon na go back to my flat makeup brush and I'm going to take Albatross highlighter by NARS, which is just a white powder with some gold shimmer in it. I'M going to take this on my brush, it a little bit on there and use this as a highlight underneath my brow, and this is just really going to help bring everything together and you want to blend it in with the buckle bunny color. So there aren't any kind of like harsh lines and it blends nicely into your skin color. So now, I'm just gon na take a brown eyeliner. This is Rimmel soft Kohl in sable brown, and I just like something on the end. Okay. So now I'm just gon na line my upper lash line with this liner as close to my lashes as possible, and I'm actually not going to come down to my inner corner. I'M just gon na line where the thickest part of my lashes are so then I'm going to take my eyelash, curler and curl. My eyelashes - and this is just gon na - really help open up your eyes and make them look bigger. Then I'm going to take YSL's bow seals mascara in rich Brown. I believe it's called because it doesn't have the name on the bottom, but I'm pretty sure it's called rich Brown. It'S the brown mascara and I'm just gon na put this on my lashes and you want to use like a brown, eyeliner or eyeliner mascara, or something that's not too black. Just because we're going for a really soft look, so you don't want something too dramatic. Okay, so now for cheeks, which is probably the most important part of this, look, I'm going to be using NARS Laguna, and this is just kind of a satiny finish. So it has a little bit of shimmer, but not too much, and you just want to lightly dust this along your cheeks, just a little tiny bit just to kind of warm up your complexion and then down below just put any excess down below kind of on Your forehead, then I'm going to take Mac's blush in well-dressed, which is just a really pretty light, baby pink color, and then I'm going to sweep this across the apples of my cheeks. So I'm just going to smile and work it up a little more alright. So the last thing I'm going to be using on my cheeks is a mineralized skinfinish in by candlelight, and this is from the warm and cozy collection and it's just a light. Shimmery pink goldish color, so I'm just gon na get a little bit of that on my brush. You don't need too much because a little bit of this goes a long way and I'm going to take this and work this on my cheek bone and up into my temple - and this is really gon na - give you a nice glow, alright, so eyes and cheeks Are finished so now all that's left is lips, so I'm just gon na be using Mac's hue, lipstick, which is a really pretty pink lipstick. It'S my favorite MAC, lipstick and I'm just gon na put this on my lips and then I'm going to take Mac's pink carrot, luster glass, which is a pink with some gold reflex in it, and I'm just going to put this on my lips. Okay. So this is the finished look, and this just goes to show you that you don't need to spend a lot of time, primping and prepping in front of the mirror, to look and feel good about yourself. You really don't need to wear make up it's all about accentuating your natural features and your natural beauty. That'S what you really want to come out.
