Valentine'S Day Updo Hairstyle - Msariella89

Happy Valentine's Day! xoxoxo

About me:

Hi, my name is Ariella. I got my last relaxer the summer of 2009. I began watching YouTube videos in search of someone with a similar curl pattern and texture. At that time, the natural hair community on YouTube was much smaller. I did't recognize anyone with hair quite like mine. And so I began to document my journey through vlogging to keep track of my progress and hopefully help anyone else out who might have felt as lost as I did. Along the way my channel has evolved to include bits of other avenues like skin care and fitness. I deal with acne and am a personal trainer, so any questions there, feel free to ask =] I hope my channel helps others to feel comfortable and confident in their own skin.

Hey it's Airy. Welcome back to my channel Valentine's Day is tomorrow, so I wanted to come on real, quick and show you a pretty simple up that you can do if you're scrambling for something to do with your hair. So some things you'll need are some elastics. A couple of bobby pins and some braiding weave, you know cheap stuff, it's usually like three, four five bucks or something and leave it on the rubber band that it comes on. It'Ll help later now, you're gon na start by sectioning your hair off into three sections. One right up top one in the middle and one on the bottom. Now for the middle part, there's a few things you can do here I to strand that twisted line. But if you don't know how to do that, and you don't have time to learn, you can definitely just look it back and if you don't want to do that, you do want to learn. I have a video on how to do that. You can find that right here and if you already know how, then you know go for it once you have both sides twisted pull it into a ponytail and secure it with an elastic now you're gon na take that middle ponytail and separate it into two sections And twist it, I don't think it matters which way you twisted. I twisted mine up order, though, and twist it all the way to the ends and when you get to the ends, you're gon na bring the two sections together, hold it right. On top of your head and bobby, pin it down now for the bottom section, you're just gon na want to take a spray bottle, and maybe some gel and just slick it down and pull it right back into a ponytail. The parting between your sections can be as neat as you want them to be. I don't think it matters so much because you're gon na have hair covering right down the middle. The sides are more important than the middle of your head again. You'Re gon na take this ponytail separated into two sections and twist in the same direction. You did the twists for the other one and then you're gon na pull the ends to the middle section and bobby, pin it so that the ends and the bobby pins are hidden under that middle section of hair. Now the SAP section, you really could do whatever you want with I've, worn this a few different ways, one in just like a regular pompadour you're, not just kind of pulling it back and twisting it over itself, but for this particular style. I did a two strand twist and it is a flat twist, but it's not pulled tight because I wanted the volume up top so twisted it very loosely. And then, when I got to the end of my hair, I pulled it back under that middle section and did the same thing just bobby, pin digits so that it's hidden under that hair all right now, you're gon na take that braiding hair and what I like To do is kind of twist one end so that it's easy to maneuver you're gon na bring it right on to your middle section of hair and pull it all the way through to where the rubber band is the middle of the weave is that's gon na, Be under the middle section of your hair, then you're gon na bring it to the back twist. It one time grab one section of the weave and bring it under the bottom section of your hair. I know it sounds confusing, but if you watch what I'm doing it should be pretty easy to follow so just bring it under and pull it all the way through and you're gon na do the same thing with the other side. Now you're, just gon na continue to twist the weave all the way to the end and secure it, and that will pretty much complete. Your look.
