This product does not mix well with other leave ins. It easily builds up on the hair. A little goes a long way. Try to be light handed when using it, especially on dry hair.

My hair in this video is a three day blow out. I workout daily, so there is a bit of shrinkage, but it still was good enough to turn into a twist out. The Cantu leaves my hair super soft. The key for my twist outs are small twist and letting them set as long as possible.

Hey guys, so I wanted to show you guys my results that I get with my cancer shea butter leave-in for my twist outs, and we all know that once you saying once list out you've probably seen them all. I mean there are so many tutorials on twist out, so this is really not about the tutorial. It'S really just to show you the beautiful results at the end. So I hope you guys enjoy this video, so I'm going to start off with blown out hair. It'S actually all blowing out hair. You can see, I have a bit of shrinkage, but it still looks really really good. It'S probably just a few days old and I've worked out in everything else, so I just wanted to take advantage and do a really cute twist out. I'M gon na use a finger of Cantu shea butter. I don't want to use too little or the twist is not going to set, and I don't want to use too much because my hair is blown out and I don't want to cost too much shrinkage. And I am going to do my twist smaller because the smaller the twists are longer and that the twist out will last and I'm going to try to do them as tight as possible, because once you let the twist go, then it unravels, and I want to Have as much definition as possible, I am gon na. Let my twist sit overnight. So now it's half at the takedown and it's really simple, I just add a little bit of extra virgin olive oil. To my hand, that way I can minimize the frizz I like to start from the ends of my hair, because I have really tightly coiled hair and if I start from the top of my hair, sometimes the hair would get caught and it will cause a knot That I have to cut out, let's twist out like this, especially on blown-out hair, will last maybe up to two days without me having to retwist hope you guys enjoyed the video make sure you give me a thumbs up and subscribe if you're not already. Alicia James: Thank you very much! Yes, I loooove my extra virgin olive oil. I do hot oil treatments every wash day, usually every 1-2 weeks. I also apply after styling. It has definitely helped with shine. :)

Alicia James: Congratulatiiiooooons! :) Don't panic, I am sure you will be more than beautiful! It was blown out using the low heat setting, I sometimes use high though. I think that that if you do an updo, doing it on wet hair would be great, because the curls will set so much better, and also your hairstyle will last through the ceremony, the reception, and maybe the honeymoon (wink) LOL! If you blow out, the hair may frizz a little more than you would like. :)

Alicia James: It took 30 minutes. I do bantu knot outs that take that amount of time :) You can twist bigger, I like to twist a little smaller so that I get more wear out of them, because the humidity is high here in Houston and a chunky twist out won't last an hour. Thank you for watchiiing! :)
