What'S up guys today, we have a super glamorous look for valentine's day and night out birthdays. I mean really it's any day. This style is so easy to do that. It'S really perfect for anything and it just clams up your entire look. So I used 22 inch. Hair extensions from her given hair actually went to do the style for New Year's Eve, and so I was searching online for natural hair like blow extensions, and I came across her given hair their kinky blow extensions. So I contacted them and asked them if they wanted to sponsor this video they were down for it. They sent me the hair to her give a hair. Thank you so much these extensions exceeded my expectations, no joke you guys seriously when I got them they're. Just so pillowy soft and there's such good quality like I literally can't stop running my hands through them. They come in one color, which is natural. You guys know I have really dark black hair, and so it didn't quite fit my hair color. But the great thing about these extensions is that you can dye them. I just bought a box dye and the color soft black dive. This hair it took the hair dyed beautifully. The only part of my hair that is out right now. Is this part right here and then the rest is in a bun and then twisted back now. I did flat twists for this style because I just wan na see if it could be done well, I just find that flat. Twisting is number one it's faster for me to do, because I know how to do it better, but it's also more gentle on my hair. I find that I pull less hair when I flat twist. That'S just me personally, so that was you can do whatever you're most comfortable with, but I just want to see if it could be done with flat twists and it can. It looks really really good, very natural. I feel confident wearing this out. I love it. So yeah I'm excited to show you guys how I got this look so yesterday I prepped my hair by putting it into my flat twist Ottawa's section out the front portion of my hair because I'm gon na pull it back into a bun. I know once that was done gently part, my hair and I just used my fingers for this. No one's gon na see the flat twist anyways. It wasn't to be perfect, I'm oyster eyes with a little bit of water, since this is a protective style, adding a little bit of mango butter to seal it all in and then finally flat twisting from the top all the way to the bottom. Once I reached the bottom, I wrapped my hair into a bantu knot just to keep it stretched for now, as I moved on to the next section. So I just repeated this for time for for flat twists in the back and then I moved on to the front just made sure that I moisturize it again put my mango butter on and then added a little bit of gel to smooth that back with a Brush so that, hopefully my edges will be flat and then flat twisting that down. Then I just repeated on the other side and then the very last step is one by one, taking out a bantu knot and stretching the twists around my hair, pinning it in place, and I want to get this nice and flat, because this is how we're going To be wearing our hair underneath the extensions - and I just did this on all four of those flat twists in the back, so it is the next day left with my satin scarf. I'M excited so, as I mentioned before, we're using extensions from her given hair and you guys these extensions are so freakin soft. I'M really impressed and shocked by the quality of this hair. So here's the hair, that's right out of the pack super straight really nice and this will probably be a color match to most people out there. I just have really dark hair. So, like I mentioned, I did go and dye. The hair here is the original color versus the dye. Colors, even more impressive is that I didn't blow dry this at all. I added the box dye and I just let it hang dry and it still kept its shape. I was like what Sol this is a bomb I did not have to blow this back out at all. I tried just like this dope. You will get a slightly straighter texture right out the box. If you decide to wet it, it does crinkle a tiny, tiny bit which you can see, but I mean come on barely noticeable and it looks amazing and it's gon na straighten back out. Once I put my curling iron on the other. Twists are all nice and secure. The next part is really easy. I'M gon na do is put on our extensions from the bottom working our way to the top. First, I want to take one of my number four clips and I'm going to clip it around the back and just put this right into the twist itself grabbing my number five clips and putting those in and I'm clipping all the way from one side to the Other so now just repeat this going from bottom to top making sure that the hair goes from one side to the next. The other thing is: choose a smart spot for your extensions to be clipped in. If there's no twist, to put the clip in on. Do not clip it to your roots because number one that's gon na hurt and number two. You can risk. You know having your hair getting pulled out. It'S just not worth it. So you find that there's a spot while you're clipping, where there's nothing to clip into just close the clip up and leave it there and then just go to the next one. Just leave it there. You don't have to clip every single clip, so you want to make sure that these clips are secure and your hair, but you don't want to do it at the expense of comfort or the health of your hair. So just make sure everything is comfortable. Yeah. I'M feeling this this looks so good, it's so realistic and look it matches my hair color perfectly now what that's so dope, I'm so excited about this. So just for the record, I do have one two three clips left over here that I died and asked I've. One more clip left in the bag that I didn't have enough dye for. So if you are interested in getting these clippings and you want to put them on your entire head, you can actually be more than enough because I have a gigantic head in this. Fit perfectly for me, so, oh I am feeling this gon na take out my twist in the front and then all I'm gon na do is to get back into a button. Oh, the color is perfect. It is, oh, my god, just to make sure Congress's synthetic hair perfectly and little just bobby, pin my natural hair in place, so it doesn't move because I can see it starting to move, and I don't like that so now that it's all bobby pinned in place. I'M gon na take my hair into a ponytail and secure it with a ribbon tie cuz now I know it's not gon na move, I'm just gon na twist my hair into a bun and I'm gon na bobby, pin it in place take an extension clip it To the base of the bun one of my leftovers on the front and another smaller one to the back and then I'm just gon na twist it around my bun, I'm gon na fix it later we're gon na curl. All this and kind of want to all blend in better together soda problem. Here, I'm gon na be using my curl line. I don't even know what this is. Let'S call it 360, I don't freaking know whatever that number. Is there that's what we're going to we're? Gon na curl it in small sections, I'm not curling the end. I kind of want that to stay straight okay to about 30 seconds, take it out, hold it in your hand, while it cools - and you can even you know if you ain't got time to hold it, let's just clip it yeah. You don't have time to hold it, just clip it well, it cools. I love this hair, it's so good, just using bobby pins to clip it to my hair, since we have twists underneath just be careful as you're curling this, so you don't get heat on your actual real hair. So this is cooled and look how bouncy look, how pretty these curls are you guys I have my last one on the bottom when I'm taking this burning hot hair off of the curling iron, I'm trying to clip it anywhere, but on my actual hair, because obviously You don't want anything, that's hot on your hair, so try clipping it to more synthetic hair. While this hair is cooling, let's take the bun out and I'm gon na curl that as well all right. So I was the last one on top, I'm gon na take out these little pins on the side. Oh my gosh, this is so much fun. This is so easy to do. It'S insane whoa that looks so good. I'M just gon na take down the curls. I did on top, so I'm not gon na leave the curls like this, even though adorable, because you guys might see me rocking this hair a couple more times this year. I can get into this as a protective style. It'S gon na comb it out, give it like some more romantic volume. Oh my gosh look at this freaking love how the ends are kind of like straight still. It just gives it that kind of like it's not perfect. You know I mean definitely doesn't look, obviously not it could be my natural hair. Actually, I won't say that take the clips I'm just taking this hair, that was in the bun comb that out too just holding onto the bottom and wrapping it. I still want those curls to shine through now. I'M wishing I smooth some gel into my own hair, the Lord. What do I do? What I wan na do what I wan na do here? Should I yeah? Let'S do it? I'M just gon na add a little bit of cream to my hair. I'M gon na go in with the cream of nature. Snot gel. You got to tame this hair, oh boy, I take my brush and I'm gon na smooth it down, so it can match a little bit better and all I do is grab some bobby pins and tighten that pull the fake hair over to cover. That'S just gon na help with dry flat and I'll come back when it's done all right. So it's been about ten minutes. I just refreshed my makeup. I'M gon na take off the scarf yeah that looks so much better. This is the final look really nice soft. I just sit on my face because they're so long perfect for a night out Valentine's Day, a date it's so cute and my hair underneath is completely protected, didn't have to use any heat on it. I did it with flat toe so super easy. So I hope you enjoyed this video. I hope that it helped. I will see you guys in the next one.

Naptural85: Hey Guys! I know I'll get a lot of "but your natural hair is already this or that..." but honestly it doesn't matter how long, short, healthy or damaged your hair is, we're all allowed to have fun with our look and change it up! So hopefully you won't compare the success of this look to whether it looks "better" or "worse" than my natural hair. It's really just about having fun with hair, while still protecting your natural hair in the process, thanks guys! Xo! ❤️

NettaTessa: Love that you did this, Whitney. It's one of my favorite protective styles. A quick tip: the last pieces that you set in the back, if you clip them in upside down, they'll cover the clips underneath. I hope that helps!

Vicky M: How cute! It's always nice to switch it up every once in a while and have different options to Try without damaging our natural hair. Love that you tried out something new and showed us how to do it safely. It's a lovely look!

AlNisa21: The hair looks really good. I just can’t bring myself to spend $300 - $400 on clip in’s when I have all this hair on my own head . For now ’ll just continue to bun it for protection . Love the style & video thou! .

Zahrah McFadgen: It looks beautiful on you! But either way you're beautiful with or without it. :)
