Hi Subbies and Friends,
This is a simple hairstyle perfect for any occasion. You can dress it up or down. My hair is within medium-sized twist. They were about a week old. I wanted a quick and easy hairstyle so I pulled out a banana clip.

Hairstyle Tutorial:
1. Section off top area where you want your pompadour to be
2. Place the back section within a ponytail
3. Carefully snap the banana clip over the the ponytail and remove ponytail holder
4. Create a pompadour
5. Add hair accessory

Hair Prep for this hairstyle:
I placed my twist within about six chunky braids usind SheMoisture's Curl Enhancing Smoothie and then sat under the hooded head dryer for about ten minutes. I removed the braids using Africa's Best Herbal Oil.

Hair Styling Tools:
Banana clip and headband. The first bold headband that I have on was from Family Dollar. The final bow-lke headband was from Walgreens.

Hey subbies and friends: this is lady t in this video. I'M going to show you how i wore this silver bling bow type headband with a banana clip type ponytail. What i'm going to do is use this. I think i want to use a banana clip. You can still see the ends are together just a little loose root, which is fine with me, because i like to style, i'm gon na do a banana clip, so i'm gon na make like a little pompadour. I always like to start with a twist because it gives me more control over all the twists and all you know all the hair create like something to that extent leave room for me to pull this band off. If i don't like it, i'm gon na put a ponytail in and then i'm gon na put the banana clip on okay, i'm gon na grab this long banana clip. Try not to make it too tight. I'M just going to take section just want to do like a ball. Let me just adjust this pompadour. I just needed something to give me an idea. Now, i'm going to add a hair accessory to this hairstyle to spice it up a bit, and although i liked how this hairstyle turned out, i wasn't completely happy with how gappy the back was kind of looking. The first thing i did was change the headband, because i wanted more of a subtle look, so i went with this silver toned bling like hair, bow headband and i've added one more bobby, pin to the back just to tighten up, tighten it up a little bit. So the ponyta it could look like a closed close-in ponytail. I was much happier with the outcome. I liked how the headband brought out my earrings. It was a very subtle classy look. Somebody said every day was gon na, be sunny skies only marvin, gaye and lingerie. I guess somebody lied, started discussing it to fight and then don't touch me please till let's stop the man just come lay with me, but i'm waving my flag before it goes bad. oneLady Tee: Hi jahsloved1, I used to have the same problem with banana clips, especially when I used those smaller, thicker ones. They would never stay shut. You have to get the bigger (7") ones. They are so much easier. I think I bought mines online, can't remember where. Thanks for commenting (:
