LaLa Anthony Shows Off New Cut And Ombre Style

This weekend LaLa decided to switch things up a bit, with the cutest little haircut a girl could ask for. The blogs are calling it her “spring look”, we are just calling it “real nice”. Her hair was done by celebrity stylist @cesar4styles, who had something to say about the new look:

We felt it was time for a new look; a nice change to compliment all the exciting new projects taking off in her career. Something young and fun to really show off her personality. Being that we are going into summer it was also the perfect opportunity to go much lighter and make a bold statement.

It is bold because it is dramatically shorter, in comparison to her signature longer hair, which she has not changed since her MTV days. The color is different too but just different for her, because we have been seeing the blonde ombre look a lot, Ciara coming easily to mind. You know we support a great cut around here so we say yes to the haircut and hope she keeps it a while.

We would love to know how you feel about lightening your hair in the summer, personally I don’t think it is wise, especially if you have very dark hair. This might be just a matter of opinion, but with the heat of the summer on its way, the effect of UV rays on our hair and the potential for our hair to be very dry, wouldn’t it be better to go darker in the summer?

Granted summer is about being light and airy, summer salads and less clothing so dark hair doesn’t quite fit that mold, but in terms of the health of your hair it most certainly cant be better to be platinum blonde in a 100 degree weather. Eh, it was just a thought, do you typically go dark in the winter and light in the summer. Weigh in!
