Blair Underwood Wears Faux Locs

Blairblair

The ever sexy, ever charming Blair Underwood did something rather odd with his hair. Now ladies I know that we have predominantly female crowd that reads our blog and most of the time we take great pleasure in talking about just us girls. But every now and then a dude might do something a little outrageous and honestly we can’t help ourselves.

What happened was, Blair decided he didn’t want to go through all the pain time and commitment it takes to grow actual locs, he said let me take a shortcut and add in some falsies.

(smile) Naaah, what really happened was he has a major stage role that required locs, he is playing Shakespeare’s Othello and he called his hair transformation magical. – Hey get that money boo!

“INSTANT LOCKS! I sat down this weekend with Chikodi Deming and eight hours later I had a full head of locks for my latest project; Shakespeare’s #Othello, onstage at the Old Globe Theatre. She’s a magician. LOL. Pictured here with Master hairstylist Sterfon Deming; her husband, as well. Thank you guys for making it happen!”

To be honest I am glad its for a role, because for me I am not used to a guy wearing extensions and if you ask my husband about it, he might not answer very readily for fear of offending someone.

We have talked about faux locs before, they are just another protective styling option that mimic real locs. The style is super cute and can be super sexy when done right as you can see from this post.

Allow us to play devils advocate for a minute, how do you feel about men wearing extensions*? We have seen some pretty strong opinions against on our social media pages concerning long hair on men in general however in this case locs are pretty unisex so it is probably a matter of how you feel about them on Blair right?

Some might feel strongly and say, no way if you want locs, then you better grow some, others might disagree and say that is fine. Either way weigh in, do you like Blair’s falsies? And should guys save extensions* for the girls?
