Jennifer Hudson Joined #Teampastel And We Are Totally Here For It

jennifer-hudson-grey-hairJennifer Hudson can do no wrong for me, I am just telling you now, so this style is everything, she wears lilac well and I love it! Her cut and color was done by Cesar Ramirez (celebrity hair stylist) and he describes it as shades of grey and lilac technicolor with an undercut fade.

One of Jhud’s supporters said:

Freakin hell yea! @iamjhud now I love that short cut…Makes me wanna listen to your new album! Shoot girl now you rock pop and blow!

Well I can’t say I disagree; if a hair cut will get albums sold, then I say color that bad boy a million times. But we all know Jennifer doesn’t need to do much to get albums sold. We also know that part of the album package can be a change in hair color, or hair cut or something to keep the artist looking fresh and relevant.

Take a look at the back of her hair – not only is she faded for the gods, but it seems as if the color is more lilac towards the back and on certain angles looks gray –  especially towards the front.

That is sort of the magic behind technicolor dye jobs, because it’s not one dimensional where you have one color throughout your hair, and it isn’t distinct highlights either. Everything is blended to perfection and flows even if you clearly have two colors. If you want to try the technicolor look we would strongly suggest you close the laptop; don’t even think about YouTube and head over to a professional who knows color.

This isn’t the type of thing you want to try at home on your own hair; some weave* maybe, but not your own head. Comment below, and let us know what you think about Jennifer’s new color.
