4 Reasons You Should Try A Caruso Steam Roller Set To Refresh Your Straight Natural Hair

Caruso roller setRecently I decided to roller set my hair, it has been a week and to maintain the curls I transitioned to big bantu knots which gave my hair a bit of a curly wavy look.

I am not going to lie, I have been enjoying my hair the past few weeks and recently decided since I haven’t been moisturizing as often that I wanted to maintain the curls but refresh a bit.

One of my favorite tools to use when I am in the mood for some fresh to death curls after a week or so of straightish hair are the Caruso Steam Rollers.

Like me, many of you might have very fine hair which means that super slick straight hair might work for a day or two, but hair with more volume is much better long term.

What are the benefits of using steam rollers?

1. You avoid direct heat

Even if you did not use direct heat to get your hair straight you can still continue to avoid it by using steam rollers. If you did use direct heat then the rollers are most definitly a better option since chances are you wouldn’t want to apply dry heat to your strands again.

2. They add moisture

The rollers use steam to set the hair, and while it is not comparable to steaming your hair for conditioning purposes, it does help to give the strands some moisture as you re set your hair.

3. The drying time is minimal

With a traditional roller set you are literally talking about an hour or two under the dryer. With the steam rollers you do not have to start from scratch and the drying time is 30 minutes maximum.

4. It lasts for awhile

If you want to extend your straight style for another week this is the way to do it. You get the most out of wearing your hair straight upwards of 3 weeks without additional direct heat.

For me, having the rollers is a really great option and definitly worth the cost which is probably the only con I have because they can be pricey depending on your budget.
