Celebs With Natural Hair Who Blog

Kimberly EliseI love to catch up on the latest fashions, fun, and fetishes about anything and everything. I love to read about all kinds of things from how to raise a baby to how to create your own clothes on a budget.

But my favorite to read about is anything natural hair related! So I check out natural hair blogs, vlogs, and websites just to find more tips and hacks on how to care for my natural hair.

In my musing I have stumbled upon a few blogs that I would have never thought to even search for and to my surprise natural celebrities blog too!

So I searched for more natural hair celebs and found that they love to put their interests and fun things on the Internet leisurely as much as we do to help others and because they love it.

Here are a few natural hair celebs who live the life of fame and recognition, but still have time to blog about their personal lives, interests, hobbies, and inspirations:

Tamera Mowry-Housley

We all know Tamera Mowry from the ABC/WB sitcom Sister, Sister (coupled with her identical twin sister, Tia Mowry) in which we all loved back in the day. As of late, she is a co-host on The Real along with Adrienne Bailon, Tamar Braxton, Loni Love, and Jeannie Mae.

Although she is a wife and mother of one with another on the way, she also runs her own website called Tameramowry.com. Tamera’s website is full of home décor ideas, food and recipes for healthy living, beauty and natural hair tips, family love and encouragement, and more.

Her website just screams “awe” and just filled with so much inspiration when you read her articles. She has a lot of helpful tips and hacks to make life simple.

Tracee Ellis Ross

I honestly cannot get enough of Tracee Ellis Ross and her goofy personality! She is best known for her role as Joan Clayton on the comedy series Girlfriends, which is still one of my favorite shows. Now, she is sporting her role as Dr. Rainbow Johnson on the ABC comedy series Blackish.

Although Tracee is an actress, producer, and motivational speaker, she still finds the time to give all of herself on her website, Traceeellisross.com.

Her website displays her fun and goofy nature just like her and Tracee tells it like it is. The website has articles on natural hair, beauty tips, style and fashion, and lots more that declares Tracee.

Alicia KeysAlicia Keys

“Fallin” is still one of my all time favorite songs and Alicia Keys continues to be a timeless beauty. Her soulful voices and her talent on the piano makes her one of the best singers of all time.

She is the wife of Swizz Beatz and the mother of one, she still updates her blog, Thekeysofalicia.tumblr.com. Alicia’s blog is filled with so many loveable pictures of her day by day inspirations and odes to the things in life she finds beautiful.

Kimberly Elise

When I tell you that this woman’s acting either makes me want to ball-out crying or cuss someone out, Kimberly Elise is a woman to be reckoned with!

She made her debut is the classic movie Set It Off in 1996 and is still giving her fans what they want in the VH1 comedy-drama series, Hit The Floor.

As Kimberly continues to stay busy with her acting career, she keeps her website updated with other contributing writers.

Her website, Kimberlyelise.com, has the home-maker appeal which makes it relaxing to read. There are numerous articles on beauty tips, encouragement on love and life, how to care for and have healthy natural hair, and lots of tips on upkeeping your well-being.

Thandie Newton

This actress has played so many different kinds of roles, I feel like I have met every aspect of Thandie Newton. From the sweet and innocent role of Kate Thomas in Norbit to playing the sophisticated role of Condoleezza Rice in W. and playing the promiscuous and hot-tempered role of Tangie in For Colored Girls, Thandie is an awesome actress to watch.

Along with her co-writer, make-up artist Kay Montano, she brings her fun and loving spirit to the website, ThandieKay.com. With lots of vibrant pictures and constant updates from their Twitter, the two write articles on beauty tips, hair care tips and tutorials, and interviews of others on their specific journeys.

Angela Simmons

Although her style of choice are her weaves*, she still has her natural hair underneath. Last time I checked, her mane was pretty luscious and full. Angela Simmons is the daughter of Joseph Simmons, known as Rev. Run.

Although she is a shoe designer, she is more of a socialite and keeps her followers up to date about anything an everything. Angela keeps her Twitter game on lock with “need-to-know” updates and I honestly don’t mind checking them out.

She takes her updates to bigger space, especially more than 140 characters, to her website Angelaiam.com/blog. She loves to focus on fashion and styles, celebrity gossip and news, health and fitness, music, and more.
