She Slayed That! - Venus Williams Debut’s A Totally Cute Natural Hair Updo

Oh Venus, yes girl, “the hair style tun up” – Totally said that in my Jamaican accent because well I was a tad bit excited to see Venus rocking a natural updo which we rarely see.

Venus is known for her protective styles which can be a little out there at times and at other times just regular around the way braids.

She isn’t afraid to switch things up with her hair and has gotten much criticism over the years. The Williams sisters are probably used to it though. It is almost like when your craft is perfect then the next best thing for people to pick on is what you do with your hair and how your body looks.

As a matter of fact as gorgeous as this up do style was, it still was not good enough for social media, she received all sorts of criticism from ignorant commenters, all of which I would not dare repeat because frankly she does not deserve it, no body does.

By the way do not think this is just about Venus, mark my words, any one of us would go through the same thing with at least one crazy person when left to the court of general public opinion. It is ok though Jesus and our blogging efforts aren’t done with negative nancy’s yet.

Many of us might wonder why Venus does not wear her natural hair more often, and while that might be cool and all, we all know that most celebs try to protect their real hair as much as they can.

Natural hair can be very versatile but we cant imagine being an athlete trying to go from day to night sometimes every night changing your hair up and subjecting it to all sorts of manipulation. We totally get it, but it was nice to see the up do!
