#BornandMade Is More Than Just Instagram Photos, It’s About Celebrating Who You Are!

bornandmadeI’m sure you have seen the #BornandMade photos floating around Instagram. In the event that you have not, it is essentially an initiative where women are posting a photo of themselves generated via BornandMade.com to state where they were born what they are made with and who’s daughter they are.

It’s only fitting being that the campaign was started by Lisa Price, founder of the famous hair care line, Carol’s Daughter. But it’s more than just photos.

For this campaign, Price teamed up with I Am That Girl, which is an organization that allows girls to express who they are freely and connect with other girls to strengthen one another through support. From here the Born And Made campaign was started.

Price often says that her hair products were born in Brooklyn and made with love. So using this idea, women are free to share where they were born and what they were made with.

All you have to do is upload a photo of yourself and fill in the fields with your own facts. Simple.

It’s about normal every day women showing who they are, that they are confident and are free to love themselves.

Where you were born and what you were made with is all apart of your total being. It has essentially contributed to who you are today.

Maybe you were born with dreams, determination, confidence or grace? Whatever it may be it has helped make you, you.

In an interview with Popsugar, Price states:

”The thing I love about the words is that they’re placed over your face, but your smile still shines through. It almost takes the superficial and puts it in the background, so your beauty is still there but it’s as though it’s shining from within, and what’s paramount is your message.”

Through it all she is giving her supporters who love and buy her hair products to step out in the spotlight and share a little about themselves.

It’s not just another basic campaign. It’s a commitment!

So where were you born and what are you made with? Join the movement today and create yours at BornandMade.com
