Yay or Nay: Wig Vase Creatively Showcases Your Floral Arrangements

It’s no surprise that we live in a creative world where people thrive on trying to come up with the next best thing. Whether it be designs, a new venture, or even a new hair style or styling method, as we at BHI are so fond of.

Well designer Tania da Cruz decided to take her creativity to the land of floral vases and I must say they are quite interesting.

Insert The Wig* Vase.

The vase features a molding similar to that of a wig head with holes in the crown where you can insert stems of flowers and create your own masterpieces, giving a beautiful image of floral crown. My first reaction was, “Wow! How awesome is that?” Followed by a, “why didn’t I think of it first?!”

I was especially drawn to it because depending on the shape or lengths of the flowers it can give a nice resemblance to a head full of curls or a voluminous fro. I could just picture a bouquet full of lilies inserted closed and then blossoming into a full crown of beauty! Or maybe pink roses pressed tightly together to represent flirty coils packed in a TWA. The possibilities would be endless.

The vases are available in white and black, and comes with a cup that sits in the center of the head where you can put water and feed to keep your flowers thriving. As the vases are currently running for $315 a pop, I personally will leave it sitting on the shelves because the price is a little bit over my budget. However, I was definitely intrigued by the idea. Somewhat an expansion of the ChiaPet era? Definitely a statement piece and something cool to have around the house to wow your guests.
