The Best Hairstyle For Your Face Shape

Hi, how are you I'm Robin welcome back or welcome to my youtube channel this little world right here is man for himself. You guys know that I have the hair style directory of man from self calm, really a host of different hair styles and haircuts for you guys to check out and get bit of inspiration on those. We have different filters and and different categories from different hair types to different hair lengths and something which you guys said you wanted was a face, shape, filter. So it is there. We have a face, shape, filter and in this video I wanted to go through the best sort of hair style and haircut for your face shape. Now I should say this is not an exact science. Um go with a hairstyle that you like and something which you really think sort of represents you and your in your own, individual style, and but these will help you kind of see how someone with a similar face, shape to you, looks with that hair style. I will link it up there, so you can go and check them out, there's also an article and man from SOUTHCOM. So if you are unsure about what face shape, you have - and you want a little bit of help, then you can check that out. But I have the six phase shapes here. We have square rectangle diamond triangle around an oval starting with square. Your face is going to be equally high, as it is wide. You'Re gon na have a strong jawline. This one really is said to be like the most masculine one. If you're fussed about that sort of, then then go wild with it, but I am anyway what you're gon na see across these hairstyles is that the hair is there to balance out proportions. You'Ve got options across all of these, but if you want to go for that real sort of rough, very rugged, look and really own that square jaw, then you could go for something like a buzz cut. This is like properly mask um. You'Ve got corner McGregor here, who's got a feed buzz Cup. I think this looks perfect for him, his own individual sort of suppose for him, it's a brand, his own unique sense of style. So if you want to have that sort of vibe, then you can go over something like that or you could do like David Beckham's done here. So David Beckham again is very, very square having it slightly shorter in the sides and having all that volume and length in the front, and the center is actually starting to lengthen his face and round it off on the top. Just then building in that quiff just sort of creates as proportion Sally and rounds it off. You can also see here with this medium length haircut for fine here you can add all that texture which again will start to round it off, but you've got options. Now. The rectangular one, basically, it's just an elongated version of this it's longer than it is wide and the cheap ones and joylynn will be similar in sort of an in proportions like what you can see here is I mean someone who is a perfect example of this Zac Effron has got a rectangular face, but looking back at all pictures of him, he had quite a rounded face. It was almost like quite cherub like now. As he's gone older, the face shape has changed, so keep that in mind your face. Shape will change, but again you can add a little bit more weight to the sides. If you want to pull that that here out to then create more width in the face, and you can see that with Brad Pitt's having that really high side part and then using the hair lengths on the sides just to build a bit of volume there, you Can also see you on the haircut that we have with Christopher who came in to man from South HQ. You can see there he's got a really rectangular face slightly rounded on the bottom, but it is still rectangular. You can also see it there with Henry Cavill. A real rectangular face again having a really high side, part, letting that volume of the hair come out, which then starts to add slightly more with the face, but again guys, not an exact science. But this will help you find something which really does sort of suit. On the flip side, you can see here with Matthew who came in for a cut to man for himself. Hq he's got a very rectangular face ticking it in as a skin fade on the sides and keeping all the length on top. What that's actually doing is it's actually adding more length to the face, and I don't think this hugely suits him to be honest, because I think it is actually making the hair and all that height in the here is actually really lengthening the face. Having slightly more length on the sides or keeping it shorter on top would just keep those proportions all as they should be, but if you're loving that hairstyle then go wild, the diamond face shape is all about having a chiseled jaw and angular cheekbone. So it kind of I mean it comes up as a diamond. There you go as with all of them. You have options, you could go really editorial, as you can see here with a crop fringe. This guy has got really great strong cheekbones and that amazing jawline and just rounding off the hair on the top I'm building in all that texture, it's really creating something which is a really strong silhouette. I absolutely love that you can also see with the style that we've got from been there. The grow note length long, hair style. You can see he's really angular there, but by having something that is slightly longer and rounded on the hair. You'Re just softening those edges, but it can also be done with this styling. This skin fade. I I think is perfect for this, with all that texture on top again you're rounding off the finish of that hairstyle and just adding slightly more roundness the face. No triangle triangle is a little like as a little like the diamond, but it is really angular. The jaw line will actually be wider than the cheekbone, so the diamonds were sort of wider, the cheekbones the triangle you're wider into that job. It'S always good. When you look at celebrities that have these sort of face shapes because you can see how they've sort of evolved with their hairstyles and someone like Shawn Mendes he's got that he's got curly wavy hair, but actually having all that weight again is helping to round it Off he's got an amazing jawline. Harry Styles has done just about every hairstyle Under the Sun, but actually having it more of this sort of mid length helps to round that off. When he's had super long hair, it really does sort of sit on that job. It still looks great, it's Harry Styles, and but I do prefer these sort of shorter lengths that round it off. Actually stopping the hair on that jawline really does frame it very well. Someone else, Nick Jonas has a buzz cut. The Vistal works perfectly and then Timothy who came in to man from selvedge cube he's, got the killer jaw and he's really made the most of that by having this beard and really having a super neat right there and around the jaw is really drawing attention to It he's kind of owning it they're moving on to the round sort of face shaped round and oval. If you want to follow the science here and the proportions, then you want to add something a little bit more square in the haircut and the hairstyle really to balance that out now with the round face shape like the square one that was equal. All the way around the circle, one, the round one - is equal all the way around, but very circular you'll see that's got soft angles, fooled cheeks and really sort of delicate features. If you want to really play on that - and you really want to be very cherub like very cutesy, then Gina walk go for a soft and flowy hairstyle and that is gon na really create that very soft and delicate sort of look, which I think some guys Look perfect with, but if you want to square it up slightly, and you can kind of see it here with this mod hairstyle having it longer in the sides, loads of texture in the top and having all this sort of natural movement is actually making the face. Looks like the arranger and more delicate, but you can see with a classic quit with the razor part. I hate razor parts. I honestly do they grow in awful and I think they look really dated, but this guy here has a really rounded face and really cute great, rounded cheeks and having that skin fade all super tight, the disconnection and then having the hair up and over it's starting To square that off slightly also the high top skin fade, I mean there's nothing more square than a high top and then adding that skin fade in really does kind of pull in that whole sort of nineties trend, which is very much back. But you can see again: the model here has got a really round face, but squaring off is starting to elongate it and square off. Again, though, you can see with a fashion-forward mullet, this has kept it actually quite delicate, but having more texture has started to square off, so there are again loads of options and then into oval, which essentially is the round face, but longer now this one is supposedly The most common face shape the good people of the internet seem to say so, and Who am I to argue with that? But this really has balanced proportions throughout slightly longer. But it's still very rounded, no you'll see on this again so much you can do. John boyega has an an oval face, shape and with his cornrows and having a shorter they're sort of real sort of skin fade on the sides and having all the length on top he's, really worked with that the corner was they have kind of toughened up the Lookk but actually you'll see on this one of John boyega on man from South calm and with this sort of breeds I just looks really great on him. He again is someone that would look good with absolutely anything and his style is like next-level. So when I mean he's lucky, you've also got someone. I mean this is the hairstyle that I love, and this is the one that I've been wanting for so long and across lockdown and now into now, and this is the longer sort of medium length, hair style with layers, because it stops just slightly on the neckline. There but you've got all the length on the sides. We were actually just widening that just ever so slightly. I think it's a fantastic haircut. I absolutely love it and it's the perfect option for guys if they want to stay longer and on the on the flip side - and I like to show stuff that I think also maybe doesn't work as well as it could Jude Law. No, he is receding. You can see that there, but he has a really oval face, shape really rounded all the way around having the hair meeting in the center there and having it shorter on the sides is actually making it slightly like a corn on him, whereas if he squared off Slightly had more one length on top, it would actually help to create those proportions. I just think it's all a bit much also the modern pompadour one, that's a similar sort of thing. This guy has a really oval face and actually having the pompadour with all that weight in the top and having it so smooth on the sides is rounding off again. However, you can see on the modern rockabilly the modern rockabilly pompadour here, because texture has been and created into the scent of the hair you're breaking that up slightly and you actually are starting to make it slightly more square and again it means you can keep that Length, but you can just work with different products to create something which is going to balance those proportions, and but I mean, and I'm gon na say this again. This is not an exact science. Here is fun if you've got here and you want to do something with it, then you absolutely can, but hopefully I'm having these face. Shapes filters will help.
