You'Re my peoples, my peoples, peoples, take a look at this. What you guys would please take it to notice. There'S the man, the myth, the legend faith, junkie, J baby, get junkie, make sure you. I follow this man right here on his Instagram page and put it right down here and just so yeah. I know this man is sponsored by 245 because he's a monster with the Clippers and every time I see this man in that barber battle. What the results look like so just say yeah, I know he's gon na be the barber in this video, so we're featuring him. So we could showcase what this man's Talent is about. He'S a barber here at fade masters off to the north, dale mabry and say the least i mean hey, thank you to my boys that 245. You know so here kind of nuggets y'all. We out we've doing something special here with fades on key our featured barber. What'S what you're doing in the tech update? Basically man we're going over some correcting some of my techniques that are gon na help you get in out of those little situations when you do have that one client they comes in, you know everyone smile. You know you see the pushback edges and these are some of the techniques I used to basically uh make them believe. So what do you? I noticed? You'Re, not balding him out right away. Are you you're pretty much sound like famous in the middle right? Oh, why do you do that? Well, basically, the first thing I look at when I am I'm doing correctly, cutting as you can see this dark part right there, where I'm hitting where the edges little dark is basically a guideline to me. So let's say I did the probably like a quarter and I areas like a half. I basically use that as it be a step for me to take out those vocals lines. So I start blending the lines out first and try to work in the new growth of the hair, and I wish we had a before picture. I'M gon na try to do a screenshot, so you guys can see it, but I mean you just push back, probably like a half-inch right. Oh back, it's kind of sad is uh. If you do look, here's the perfect day or may I use it's unnecessary but uneducated, you know barbers, sometimes and they're, not up to date or keeping track of the Clippers and maintenance and stuff. And yes, it happens. I mean what what do you define as a push back push back? Alright, basically, what I define as a search like what we see right here. You know unnecessary um, trying to basically what I call chasing the airline people are trying to get the sharpest line possible when actually they don't know that the natural line, sometimes is the sharpest line that you can get. Is this little adjustment since you have to do yeah, definitely, and I think people get confused between bangs and actual hairline like if a follicle is there and you cut that follicle you're pushing back follicles, you're gon na see new growth. That'S gon na expose the push back. Bangs is another thing. You know you can trim a bang as high as you want as long as it's not making the clients or head look huge or you're going into follicles now, where you'll have new growth and stubble grow back. That'S gon na show you just like on this client I'll push back, and some of the things that I use to avoid. That happening is having your system to edging and everything falls in place. Different steps, quick, quick questions into rubber yeah. Are you blending with these? As well, yes, I'm opening that level sometimes yeah. I open it up me my cell phone to the half area that feels one of the most important parts of any ivory, so those would have lost their cordless, walking five star details. Yes, sir, are these the designers you're using right? Yes, I use a combination of the magic clip and designers different blades different effects. This is just my style. The way I learn to get that proper blend in my eyes, you know so, while we're recording you mention the name of this hair cuz, it's kind of like a. I noticed you use a lot of different on clippers like right. Now you just use the heroes. Is there a reason for that? The reason why you see me switch the certain edges back and forth is because, like I said that, 0 to 1/2 area, some of my enters our adjusted differently. Some are closer than others, so I can hit certain areas that you know you know when you come up close to a haircut. Let'S say here in a supermarket or after the haircut when I take a shower, that's 0 to 1/2, and it shows a lot to me. There'S different blends inside of a blend. That'S the way I looked at her haircut. You using the five star shapes you like those better in the ends and that's another thing I actually use I'm like JP one, the barbers here he actually does that too. He says that I'm like the five stars are better for more on protection. Curly, hair, more textured, hair and then dandies are, for you know, straighter hair. He says, like his client he's known as his clients break out loud list with the five stars. Yes, I did notice the everything yes and one thing that I learned is that you know this is my techniques. You could say something that I did a couple things that I did in the video added to your style and work it in with what works. For you, that's the beautiful thing about Barbara mayor. This is my techniques and you can learn something. That'S the stuff, that's the whole point of it, the executive, what we're doing here! So I just you, my style basically came up of watching a whole bunch of different people. You know they gave me in my own. I took little bits and things that work for myself and I found my strategy there give me the effect that I would like yeah. I mean like a lot of the Clippers you use and you used to like I mean to create really high quality here cuz. I don't like my guy, but I'm you know, everybody's different everybody, it's a very subjective thing and you know just cuz. I hate the designers doesn't mean you can't put in some nice quality haircuts. They junkie, showing you right now like using the five star detail. Is the coolest ones that I don't like and he's using the designers that I don't like and he's crushed me coming runs of wallet. So one thing that I feel is important: as a barber and like mastering this craft and taking yourself to you know a whole nother level is learning your tools. Every tool will give you a certain effect. You know the shortcuts that make you work. You know a lot easier, more efficient when you know what your arsenal yeah. Everybody wants me to like to point out a certain clipper. What'S great for beginners, I can't say that you got ta. Try the Clippers yourself and I mean, depending on what your price point is: it's different. You might be only able to spend 40 bucks, but you have a certain Clippers that fit in that price range and try. Those out try the legends out the magic clips and all those Clippers, the corded ones, not the cordless, exactly and figure them out for yourself, oh yeah, for sure - and one thing I noticed is like some people ask me: oh, do you use the fade later? You would just use your Clippers me myself, my preference is leaving it how he came out the box yeah one, because I have learned it. I am somewhat a little heavy-handed and sometimes when I adjust that Clippers eyes, I take my hair out yeah. So you just got ta find what works for you and that's the important thing. That'S the beautiful thing of barbering. You know yeah exactly. I am just working man just taking out the problem areas. First, that's what I joined correctly buzzing. I try to take out the lines that were left behind and blend in the new growth with what is dawning and our corrective haircut. If you can actually correct it, that's almost always a guaranteed new client, oh yeah. It feels good when they come in. They got somewhere important to be you're very important. You know something is gon na, come up for them and they're stuck with a horrible haircut. Some people will shy away. Tell them! Oh, you need to come back, let it grow in, but I can say not everything right away right after can be corrected, as you can see he came in and luckily, if I like that day after it happened, maybe two days any that's just about the time You need to make it happen. I noticed you took the one open towards the hairline. Did you do that because you wanted to correct that area more or do you typically do that all the time as I do that a lot, not even just a correction yeah on the front, depending if they have like real long hair, like I'm over I'll kind Of touch-up those little baby hairs that are starting to grow inside with his type adhere to the hair, tends to grow over the hairline as well like bike over it. So in kinda yeah it gives it more control. It helps last longer two things hit and bow trial in there. That'S the best way to learn yes, sir, and don't be afraid. Man at first thought he came in. I was kind of skeptical. You know what I'm gon na do, and I said you know what do what we do every day people come in with these kind of problems all the time and it's up to you, you know you got to learn these things. This is what makes you a better barber and, at the end of the day, of more money in your pocket, hey. What'S this, would you give for clipper over comb, find the right home for yourself and little by little ease yourself into taking it from a zero? You know something when I first learned, I learned to throw like a speedo to onto the Clipper, and then I went down little by little to using a one guard on the Clipper when I was doing that forever song. The pro comment is the biggest thing. Is people try to go too fast with it, and it's something that it's like takes a lot of precision and control with your hand at home, that's a great tip, so pretty much use guards as your training wheels until eventually you're down, such as the the zero And you can do the clipper over comb exactly and ya, find you find the comb that works for you, because I don't like that comb. I have that comb and I don't like it. I feel like it's too bulky. I use the one that Kenny Duncan's. Oh he's uh selling uh forget what brand they are, but you like at home, so you got to figure out. You know which comb works for you exactly and that's the thing man, that's why they're so having the right comb like like. Sometimes I say some people fade a little to hide. You find yourself chasing the fade chase it in the face. If you notice you get to certain areas, you can just use that clipper over comb technique to get you out of those holes, yeah man. It'S definitely gon na. Take you out of holes man, you see. Sometimes you find yourself trying to blend the hair and you know to see way a little higher that you're supposed to so you bring that clipper over comb taking out and it's gon na take. This is quick and effective, as you can see when I went over the parts that he had before originally, I would have done it a little different, but sometimes there's some things. You can't correct at least the back. Wasn'T too bad. I noticed your heroes are leaving ash a lot of ash. Is that something that you used to change it strategically, because I know a lot of barbers do yeah. It just so happens uh when you adjust something and is running perfect there right, that's the effect. Sometimes you know, and not everyone's hair line or hair skin is gon na leave that little ashy trail, but you know that is the objective and some people's spouse. What'S your strategy for lining up, airlines are basically when I started, I say if they did have sideburns. I would start at the bottom of the sides turn the bottom of the cyber and I would definitely um connected to the front yeah where the arch ends and then I do the basically decide that you saw there was a push back and the final part that I do is the lining in the front for me: it works better because it helps me it makes everything come together, a uniform. You know it's more consistent method that I found and we got the 20:45 shave gel the sauce that is sponsoring fete junkie. Oh yeah. Definitely love it. Man, clients, lovely the smells the shades, it does everything I needed to do and some you know ever since I've been using. I think every barber in the barber shop on that scissor technique. Do you all you kids? We do that for just like short hair pretty much years. Basically, I like the length that he had. I just wanted to clean up some of those straggling hair that you know. Sometimes people like I said before they're uneducated and they don't keep up with their equipment. So it starts to cut like real jaggedly. Longer. Hair is just an inconsistent, like maybe stroke that they did when they were passing the guard, but I like the link, so I just wanted to clean up these little frail little hairs. They were sticking up on the top, so I used the scissors so just trying to clean it up and leave some of the texture. I don't want to cut it completely down the the goal. Wasn'T to have it completely, even because when I do you see when I style at the end, I have a little spiciness to it. There know what I mean to leave some of the texture, and you recommend that what kind of combo set you recommend that comb. It was just like a regular barber shaving against brains. You like the butterfly on races more than the the push-up. I reverse through media I found is that the weight of the butterfly razors are a lot more effective for myself and sometimes I'm a little right-handed when I'm shaving and it helps balance encounter the weight of the razor. What are you spraying, my hair, that was a code of hairspray and now I'm throwing the fiber on there, so he can bond with it here and guys. This do impress me so much with this right here like watch how he applies this, the hair fibers, because I was kind of like I don't know - I wasn't the biggest fan, but he has mastered a technique to a team guys got Caesars yeah and the whole. The whole point: whenever I get a product that I do, an enhancement that I wanted to live as natural as possible. You know that's just my style, that's my preference! I don't want someone to go home wash something off and it's just is a false image that I sold them. You know I'm trying to keep it as natural as possible, showing them where exactly you know and just help show where the edge is supposed to be. It helps yourself to so you don't pass the edge line or anything like that once you learn your product and you know, and you learn how to use it. One of the biggest things that people say about the fibers is that as soon as you wipe off - or you know like a spray of water or a wind gust or you brush your hair, it's gon na come out. If you look my technique that I use, you can even style the hair throw water, throw some gel, there's gon na, be there he's spraying it with an air hose a strong air hose and anything coming out. That was strong. I was like wait: you're wetting it right now. You just sprayed it with a whole buncha. Look he put he's putting hair gel on it. So it's all product knowledge, man and that looks pretty natural yeah I mean I think color enhancements can expose the barber who doesn't know how to use it properly. I'Ve always said that, but if you can use it properly, then it comes out. Looking like this real nice, just learning your tools and your father is heat, so that's it man, that's fade junkie, ace on instagram, make sure you follow him. Show him love. We'Ll, definitely have him around a lot more offerings, a sponsor 245 barber. So thank you. So much

I just got the Conair that are supposed to be just like the babyliss. it's honestly funny how different this Clippers are from the lith fx, and people are saying they are the exact same. they are completely plastic no rubber grip on them. everything that looks like it's metal is actually plastic .the blade I believe it's the only thing that is metal. the lever on it has a 4 position click setting. they are not smooth like the lithium FX.
