5 Quick And Easy Up-Do Hairstyles To Look Chic And Stylish In A Hurry (You Need To Try These!)

Do you want to create elegant, sophisticated hairstyles, but you don't have that much time, probably most of us right in this video, i want to show you how to create five, really simple, hairstyles, all updos that literally take seconds hi. Ladies, it's erin and welcome back to my channel today i want to talk about hair one of my favorite topics. I love to do hair. I'Ve shared this before it's something that i've always loved. I'Ve, always loved learning new hairstyles experimenting playing around trying new gizmos. I'Ve got it all: i've got the flat iron and the three barrel waiver and the one and the regular barrel and the thick barrel you name it. I'Ve got it and hair for me has always been a really kind of almost like a part of my identity. I'Ve always loved having blonde hair and long hair and then in moments of life, where i've cut my hair and that's been very symbolic for me and felt very emblematic of the moment and hair is really important. I also think it's important to have these hairstyles at the ready that you can do very quickly and simply because most of us are on the proverbial wheel, go go, go, go, we've got kids, we're going to. I mean i can't even keep track of my schedule. Let alone my kids schedule, it's like so intense you got ta. Have these like quick and simple hair fix it's hairstyles and that's what this video is about. Just sharing five, really simple hairstyles that are also quite elegant and lovely. I can't even tell you how many times in life where i've had some thing going on a special occasion and just had no time to get ready and had to pull out. One of these hairstyles, like i could pull this out in literally 60 seconds and you'll see. I hope it makes your life a little simpler and that you have these hairstyles that you can pull out when you need to. As i know, if you're anything like me, you do have a pretty full schedule. You are juggling a lot of different things and it is important to have these time-saving measures in place so that you can do both like you can look your best and feel great, but also do it in a really finite amount of time. Let'S get started. Let'S start with hairstyle number one, which is one of my all-time favorites and go-to's. It'S super fast promise. You would take less than a minute to do which is critical, especially for those of you who are like me kind of running a million miles an hour. Go. Go go go even though you don't necessarily want to be. Go, go, go go, but you are lately. I feel like it's like we're on the hamster wheel, um and you want to get off, but it's really hard to do with kids. So i wanted to share this hairstyle because it's a go-to for me. It'S very simple. I like to pull this out when, like maybe my hair, is looking like today, like it's kind of like day after hair. I blew it out yesterday and it looked nice and fluffy and today it looks a little bit flatter. Not as nice like the the blowout, isn't, isn't there and isn't as prevalent. I would either have to go and curl it or re-blow it, and i don't really want to do that. I don't have the time to do that, so this is what i would do. First brush it. I would add a little dry, shampoo too, which i already did, but you don't have to it just depends on your hair texture and, what's going on the dry, shampoo sometimes can give it a little extra volume. So what i'm going to do is kind of i'm. Just going to brush it straight back, the nice thing about a ponytail too, is that it does have this like lifting effect for your face, which makes you look a little bit more youthful. You can use any color hair tie that you want. I just have the blonde ones, so i'm just using a regular blonde hair tie. I wrap it around. I kind of like just a little bit higher than normal here. Not quite i dream a genie high, but a little bit higher. Here'S the important part i'm going to take a little tiny piece from underneath the ponytail it doesn't have to be super thick. You can make it thicker if you want it doesn't matter. Just remember, however, thick you, you make it you're taking that volume out of your ponytail. So then i just take that piece and i wrap it around the hair tie, so you could use any color. Hair tie doesn't really matter once it's covered and you have the end of your hair. You can either pin it or do what i do, which is tuck it under the hair tie, pull out a little piece of the hair tie like this and tuck the hair. In and then you have this really sleek ponytail, once you're done with that, there are a few things you can do, i'm going to do, pull out some pieces in the front. The other thing i can do is grab my ponytail. Take my fingers like this and just gently pull here at the crown by holding your ponytail. It ensures that you're not kind of messing your pony up and i try to do it just pull evenly. So i get a little bit of volume at the top. You don't need much, you just need a little bit of volume and that's pretty much it. So that's like a 30 second hairstyle voila. Okay, let's go for hairstyle number. Two. All i'm gon na do is create that same pony, but instead of putting the hair tie in right away, i'm just gon na wrap it. This is the most requested hairstyle by the way i'm gon na wrap it around this. I am putting really on the top of my head now. Some people may use pens, but i just use my same hair tie again. This takes like 60 seconds. It'S so easy. I like to really make it tighter, so i try to wrap it three times, but you may only be able to wrap it twice depending so now i have my bun. This is the key right here. What i'm gon na do is pull in opposite directions of my bun, so take this side with this hand, this side with this hand and gently pull pull pull pull. I keep it tight by pulling in opposite directions, but i make it bigger. Yes, you see what i'm saying it just grew like twice the size and then again you can pull out pieces in the front, make sure it's smooth, that's it! That'S all she wrote now. If you wanted and there were loose pieces, you could pin it, but i just leave it 60 seconds. I'M done! Okay, you ready for hairstyle number three mm-hmm. Let'S do it took my bun out just gon na brush it again it's time to brush it down going for the low rider i'm gon na leave these two pieces out. I can always go back over with the flat iron on these to make them like flip. A bit more okay wrapping this hair tie around the low pony three times and then, instead of pulling it all the way through on the third i'm going to leave a tail, i can measure to see where my tail is going to tuck in because i kind Of i want it to tuck in right under the pony, so i'm going to pull out a little more and then wrap it around if you've got a lot of wispies or layers you're, probably going to have to do a lot of pinning mine is pretty even Steven right now, okay, then i'm pulling out the hair tie and tucking in that tail. Okay, that's it! I didn't time it but literally 60 seconds. This next hairstyle is another low kind of chic. Almost like not i'm going to again pull it down all the way. At the bottom of my head, take my hair tie, wrap it around. Then i'm going to create a hole above the ponytail in the middle split it and then i'm going to tuck my ponytail into that hole creating a twist once you pull it through and you tighten it. You'Ve got that nice tight kind of twist, if you're sure, if your hair is short, you can just leave it. You'Ll just have a little tail. My hair is really long, so i have all this hair sticking out. So what i want to do now is take a clear plastic band and i'm going to loop this in a nice short loop and then i'm going to take the clear plastic band and wrap it around the loop. So you can't see it then, with this extra i can go around and tuck in again there you go, that's it and i have bangs, so my bangs naturally sort of fell out, as i was doing that, and also when you're kind of pulling things at the Nape of the neck, like that it does create a little volume naturally on the sides, so i do have hair pins. You know if, if you wanted to add them, you could, but i try to create styles that don't require pinning or anything extra again. If we're doing quick, simple, easy out the door, that's what i'm thinking about. So this is a way to do your hair very elegantly, make it look very thoughtful and intentional, but it literally took you one minute: okay, the last hairstyle is going to be very similar to the bun i created before, but instead of being on the top, it's Going to be a low bun, so same idea, i'm gon na take my hair, the nape of the neck. In this case, i'm going to leave it a little bit loose. I twist up like that, you can twist and wrap it's up to you. You don't even need to twist the hair really just wrap it. I use my same hair tie and wrap it around at the bottom a few times, and then i do the same thing i did at the top, where i just i'm just going to pull from opposite directions. If you want it lower, you can kind of just push it down. That'S it because mine was a little bit high, so i just pushed it down and with this i think you can go with messy. It doesn't have to be perfect. Like messy actually looks better. You can leave this one, as is the bun low, but you'll notice that it does create a little separation between the bun and the scalp. So you can actually pin this one if you wanted to and just using a few u-shaped pins or bobby pins. Whatever you have, you don't need to go overboard. Just do a few pins. The four pins that i use create less separation between the scalp and the bun itself. There was a little bit of separation before, probably mostly because i pushed the bun down, but the pins just secure it in place and create less separation. If one of your concerns is aging hair, your hair may be really dry. You feel like it's aging you which it very well could be. I also did a video on more youthful hairstyles, which i think is a great video to watch after this one. All of those hairstyles are specifically geared for women who are more mature, who have longer hair because sometimes it's tricky to navigate those waters. You know you think, like there's a societal pressure to wear your hair short when you don't want to wear your hair short necessarily or maybe you do, but it's your personal choice and i'm so thankful now that there isn't that same level of oh gosh, like once, You turn 40. You need to cut your hair short pressure that used to exist. If you want long hair, wear long, hair just try to keep it healthy and looking shiny and thicker, and there are all kinds of tricks to do that and again i did a video all about that sharing all of my tips and tricks to getting thick shiny, Hair in a separate video so be sure to watch that one after this one.
