Video Share - Reniece’s Real Black Hair Showcase - Natural, Relaxed, 4

Natural Relaxed hair 4a 4b 4c

I had to share this video by RenieceHairTV because it is so inspiring especially for those of you wondering where the next inch is going to come from. I know that a lot of you ladies tend to prefer the more natural approach to length retention (like twists) but in terms of retention potential, weaves* rock too.

Also it goes to show that you can still have long gorgeous healthy hair even if you relax or flat iron* your natural hair occasionally. I have had my share of bad experiences with stylists but Reniece is one of the few that I may one day consider going to if distance wasn’t an issue. Her track record speaks for itself!

Reniece follows the classic features of healthy hair regimens that we have become all to familiar with. Essentially she gets your hair healthy first before starting to work on length. If you take a look at the transformations on her website you will see that some of the relaxed ladies who start out with thin shoulder length relaxed hair may end up shorter at neck length but with such full healthy ends it makes you envious!

Eventually it appears that majority of her clients achieve at least BSL and beyond. You have to imagine that the women with the most success using her methods are the ones who are the most consistent with their at home regimens in between appointments (the stylist can’t do everything).

Reniece does not come cheap (no surprise there then) but I’m sure that you will agree that her proven track record and results show that she’s worth it. Her length retention tool of choice appears to be weaves* but it would seem that she also takes on natural hair only clients.

The salon is based in Rockville, MD so if you are lucky enough to live in the vicinity, you should definitely check her out, having said that her appointment book is always full so you may have a wait on your hands before you get to see her!
