Shannon, is making a name for herself in media when it comes to all things sexy, and we kind of like to keep thinks PG around here but we can understand completely what they mean by sexy hair making you feel a certain kind of way. I am all for the cut, a great hair cut can make all the difference when it comes to your hair, and even though we might all want waist length goals, nothing beats healthy hair, nothing!

We like to hear the perspective of stylist because even though we are all proud DIY’ers at times there is a place for the professional stylist, this is what they are trained to do and they can really teach you a thing or two about your curls. Shai Amiel is known as the curl doctor, and his signature cut is basically the Deva curl cut where your hair is cut dry and curl by curl to get the precise shape that you want.

Let us add, it is almost impossible to do this yourself, you really need a stylist to help you out. Shannon has extensions* in her hair so she styles her hair based on that, and if you wear clip ins* consistently you should take them to the salon with you so that they can be fitted with your new cut. We can also appreciate the fact that she added color to the extensions* instead of her own hair to give her some dimension without the commitment.

One thing I have learned over the years is not to fear frizz, I think in the beginning I tried so hard to avoid it, I had no appreciation for what my hair actually likes to do. If you have some frizz thats ok! Big hair is totally sexy and a little frizz makes it some what irresistable.
