The Ultimate Curly Fro, 3 Strand Twists With Bantu Knots

1a

I had to show my girl Brittni some love, because this is her very first video and the style looked totally dope on her. When we first met Brittni she was four months natural. Her story was done back in January and look at the length of her hair now. It just goes to show that progression is inevitable, especially if you are consistent

I have seen three strand twists before, and if you want an ultra defined twist out then choosing to do a three strand twist might work. However Brittni took it to another level by doing a bantu knot as well which of course will leave you with an awesome curly fro.

Once you get the three strand twist down, you will be fine with the style, Brittni does a great job of showing the technique in the video so if you are interested in learning then by all means watch carefully. What is equally important along with that is how you prep your hair for the style. We always tell you to make sure your hair is moisturized before attempting any style and this is no different.

After you moisturize, add something that will seal the hair but make sure it is light, because when you create your curly fro you do not want your hair to appear weighed down and greasy.

We also always recommend a styler of your own choice, this could be a light hold gel or cream so that the curls last. Finally to give the style some great volume without disturbing the curls we suggest that you use an afro pick to lift the roots to create that big hair don’t care look. Check out Brittni’s very first video style tutorial and let us know how you like to do your curly fro?
