Soldiers And Their Stylish Haircuts. #Shorts#Army

Soldiers get their hair cut a lot sometimes about every two weeks. I knew people who were doing it every weekend. You got a lot of different hairstyles out there, but off the bat you go into basic training, you're shaving your head, but some soldiers already don't have hair, but they still need to keep it a little groomed and some people just shaved their head, because why not? Here'S your high and tight haircut. This is a little more popular with your older soldiers, because this was just the style also sergeant major daily when he came into power in 2015, he kind of made it cool again. This right here is your most common. This is your medium fade, then you can go a little lower on the lower fade and you can get a little higher on the high fade. This is typically what soldiers are doing, so they don't look exactly like a soldier when they're off duty, and also you can kind of play with your hair a little bit. If you get that fade just right, you can look just like brad pitt from fury and then my favorite, the special forces haircut, where you just don't care or if you're getting kicked out of the army. Your haircut typically looks like that too.

T-SPLY: Medium Fade Gang

Israelfan97: My uncle got out of the coast guard and has been growing his hair out ever since about 2-3 years now

Nuclear Beast: That bald spot though Edit the first hair cut had a bald spot

Mitch Allen: Before inflation, I was getting cut every weekend. Couldn't stand it getting more than ⅛in on the sides and back. Got to love the high and tight.

john doe: I've never really seen weekly haircuts enforced in the army but the marines I know seem to have to get them weekly. That shit gets expensive real quick.

MiddKnight Dream: I remember the first haircut I got in basic was by this old guy who was a Vietnam veteran he apparently enjoyed cutting hair. He was definitely good at it, less than 2 minutes in the chair and I'm buzzed clean. Now here's where the story goes a little sideways I was always taught growing up you tip your barber, doesn't matter if he's your regular barber or one that you just met you tipped them a dollar. So this old guy acted like I slapped him in the face, since I wanted to give him a tip for giving me a haircut. I find out later from a drill sergeant that they're not allowed to accept tips from fresh recruits since it's assumed that most of us coming in have very little or no money and it would be discourteous of them to accept the dollar. So apparently I wasn't the only one that tried to give one of the barbers that day a tip. Fast forward 8 years later, I paid $30 for a set of hair clippers, and I still just buzz my hair every 3 weeks. Considering the cost of going and getting a haircut these days is anywhere between $15 and $30 for a regular barber, I think I made a pretty smart move and only having had to pay $30 for over 145 haircuts in all that time. Of course I can only do buzz cuts, I tried doing a high and tight but it never comes out right.

Ruben Leal: My hair looked like that last guy. It's how I kept it in high school ROTC, and even as an alter boy at church. But to be fair, I was USAF, not Army.

Relyea: Last one looked like the Air Force cut

Dr. Anarchy: Damn in the Marines we were getting our haircut every week cause it was required

The Black Baron: I personally don't care much about hair, even though I'm a paramedic and never went to the military in my country I usually shave my head. Easy to maintain, practical.

Raging Cajun: Fury is a great film, one of Brad Pitt's best roles. Wish more WW2 movies were as gritty, had as great of a soundtrack. Fury, and Saving Private Ryan are the best.

William The 3rd: I know that every unit is a little different but with the units that I served in I hated how us Black guys couldn't have a quarter inch of hair on our heads but everyone else got to enjoy having hair long enough to brush or comb. so most of us Black guys just kept a shaved or nearly shaved head just to avoid being messed with.

BlackKnight0814: SMA gets a haircut Barber: scalping the grass when he mows the lawn

Mark Rowland: WW2 ten years past when I went to a barber. A soldiers haircut was the standard. Just like the mature aged haircut above. I immediately took up arms and threatened war, if that happened again.

anthony dinota: As a Marine, If you get a low fade and have long hair by long I mean 2 inches on top. You can get it cut every two weeks and get a taper. In my unit we had allot of guys that could do a good taper especially one week after a professional barber did it.

Field Marshal Schroeder: I was a high skin fade kinda guy, but let my hair grow a lot up top. It made growing a mohawk once I got out very easy.

Stephanie Ann: As a female I definitely would be shaving my hair. I wouldn't want to take an hour every morning to make a perfect bun lol

Damocles54: My combat engineer battalion was in Panama building a road up in the mountains. While there i had to go to a local hospital to see a specialist that our TMC didn't have, then go to the PX to get a haircut. On that day i learned that there are two people you want to be sure speak the same language you do, ideally as their first language. (Presuming that like me, you only speak English. But if you do speak their language, make sure you're fluent or it won't matter for the purpose of this example) Those two people are your doctor and your barber. I almost got stuck in Panama, because i misunderstood what the doctor was telling me, with a bad haircut. (Because i couldn't articulate to the barber what i actually wanted lol. So i just ended up with a screwed up high and tight. But it being screwed up was my fault, but his lol) Drs and barbers. Don't forget lol

Zerron Kaibo: I remember my father that served for several years always having a flattop

WILLIAM OWINGS: Cut my hair three times a year now and never really shave. I have little to no hair in the hot Texas summers and shoulder length and full beard from around November to February. I work outside and it just makes practically sense. Razor burn doesn't any season. Close with clippers is most comfortable.

Alastair Lugg: I would be fine having any of these haircuts, I normally do short back and sides anyway, so the sides of my head would get a tiny bit shorter and the top would stay the same haha

Yaboi Leeroy: My homie got out of the Army and after work we were having a few drinks. I still had a mop he hated to pieces and while I was talking to our coworker, he came up behind me and cut my hair ear to ear. Said, “Fuck it. Gimme an undercut.” Gave each other an impromptu cut right there on my boss’ back porch. He tended to comb it to the side while I slicked it back with pomade. And yes, I razor shave the sides and back still and if the barber has one, straight razor.

TotallyNotDelinquent: I've got super fast growing, super thick hair so I'd have a terrible time in the military lmao.

AlphaCoffeeSins: Canadian Armed forces when I was active undercut baby with a nicely groomed beard because I had a medical pass but the camerons were pretty reasonable on that anyway just as long as your hair didn't interfere with your helmet and your beard didn't interfere with your gas mask you are fine

David Langer: Rangers used to have a fresh high and tight haircut by every Sunday night for an inspection every Monday morning

Gym Rat: That Sunday line to get a hair cut on Sunday night

Skoochers: When I was in the Air Force I had to start telling the on base barbers to not touch the top of my head at all, since every single time they would just cut my bangs straight across with scissors and all my buddies would make fun of me.

FrostyLicious McBrainFreeze: If you're SF, you don't need a grooming babysitter,

Travis Viener: I would use a 3 on the clippers all the way around about every 2 or 3 weeks.

K2 Fuego: Dude why did I think of brad Pitt before he even started explaining the hair cuts

CraftySmithKeith: I’m like 80% sure I’ve got a nice flat spot on the top back of my head, going bald would not be a favorable move

Anthony Caldwell: Shit I rocked a combover before it was the thing to do. I'd try to see how long I could get the top

macdud85: Marines be getting it every Sunday at the school I went to

DTAWAM SHADOW: Goodie marines we do it every week and headquarters marine corps says if your cut look grown out throughout the work week you have to get it fixed

Bryanx: At my unit they made us do it every weekend, you would get a article 15 for not producing a receipt.

Foreign0817: I get a high fade every 2 weeks and trim off the front every 4 weeks.

Hayden r: I've been getting high and tight for as long as I can remember because it is what my dad got, and now I know where he got it.

Kevin Johnson: The getting kicked out of the army haircut

Sania Amirbaaz: Navy seal haircuts are crazy you can see people with dreadlocks and even mohawks.

Hunter Sanderson: Special forces hair cuts look the coolest. Theyre already giga chads anyways, the hair cut they get is boosted by them not the other way around

giant the small: Hey thanks for reminding me I needed a hair cut

Napalm: I would like to keep my shoulder low hair so I can wear a headband and look like rambo to intimidate my enemy please. The barber holding the buzzer:

Anonymous8317 8317: Non military but from what I’ve heard….shave it prior because you’re getting the quickest possibly bloody shave lol

Greg Stewart: How do you say you were picked on in basic without saying you were picked on in basic.

An Alien Life: I really dig the Brad Pitt cut

Bob The Builder: I'm black so I would probably try to rock the waves

VGX Hero Peter Griffin: I was getting a haircut every Sunday. Medium fade #2 on the top

Rokkfel: Bald all the answering for my friend whose serving as small arms repair and yes I’m answering this as well before anyone else asks…he is going insane from the stupidity

robert barna: Actually we get medium and low fades as to not look like dumb boots.

Roger Sepeda: I just shave my head , much cheaper and easier to maintain, plus I’m balding so yeah there’s that too

Major Major: Damn my main hairstyle is slick back

Kolton Gauthier: What about short Mohawks? Are they allowed?

Brain Jester: You’re videos make it seem like every soldier is the worst breathing sack of flesh to ever be given consciousness

Toryanse: I'd get the Wehrmacht Haircut

steamhard: It’s called grooming standards.

Barry McCarty: Not just the army, sometimes you have to just shave the scalp if you can, I am not able to because I have too many scars.

Taylor McManus: Brad pits hair cut is what I’d go to. But I’m also at a man bun, only because me m my dad have the opposite hair style he’s bald on top but keeps hair on the side, I get a bald fade an keep the hair on the top In ur face dad not my fault you’re jealous because my long hair

Lee: Been out for 8yrs and still get a medium fade.

Gary Allen98: tbh certain haircuts sound like bs to me as long as it isn't too long.

Heinrich Himmler: You can't forget about the Douglas MacArthur fade bro come on

bryce thoreson: Can you explain hair stipulations now that females are in the military? I've heard females complained so they relaxed the rules on hair

cartler: Man in the background has got the Eminem haircut
