Hi everyone, it's amanda with chaquelle and i'm here today to give you a quick review on the wig that i have on right now, so i'm wearing katherine by jon renau. So i'm just going to go ahead and jump right to it. So catherine, is this mid-length wavy style, and it has this cluster of curls closer to the bottom of the wig that are fairly imperfect. I would say they aren't these beautiful ringlets, but it's kind of giving it that um tussled windswept look. Catherine also has this really adorable side swept bang here that i find frames the face really nicely so catherine also features a lace front design which allows for that off-the-face styling, which is always a bonus i'll get you a closer look here, so here's that lace front And just note that it goes from kind of temple to temple, so there's about five or six inches of lace front there for you. So the lace front on this one is about an inch or so wide. So you can see here and then after that inch it stops. So this is not a monofilament top, so you do not get the illusion of it growing from your scalp past this inch of lace. So on the top here, it's basically just permatease. Now, usually i am not a fan of permatease. I tend to steer pretty clear of the permatease, but this one in particular. It'S not it's not obnoxious. It'S it's really subtle with the permatease, and i really don't mind it at all. The permatease gives it kind of just enough lift here to give it more of a natural body to it, and it's i really like it so before i take it off and show you the cap construction i'll, just give a quick little spin around. So you can see catherine at all angles, all right i'll go ahead and take her off now, so you can see the cap construction, okay. So, as noted earlier catherine has this lace front so here it is it's about five inches across and about an inch wide and then, like. I said it stops and goes right into the permatease. So this section here is where all that permatease is. This is a open wefted cap, so it allows for really great air flow and doesn't make you feel as hot. It also has these velvet ear tabs to help. You adjust the wig on your head and it has these velcro adjustable straps at the bottom. So i should mention that the color i have in this catherine is the color four. So four here i'll show you this four is basically the standard dark brown color. There'S no highlights there's no roots, there's nothing but dark brown. So one of my favorite things about catherine: is these side swept bangs? Now i really like them, because it allows for um a more elegant, yet effortless kind of updo that you can do with her i'll show you what i mean all right, so i've just pulled her up into a claw in the back and, like i said it's Just a really effortless and easy way to wear catherine and these face framing side swept bangs are going to kind of hide the hairline and hide uh sort of around the ears, even just to make it look a lot more natural. So one thing i didn't share with you yet is the length of it. So in the front we've got about five inches from the crown it's 12 inches from the sides it's 11 inches and from the nape of the neck. It goes about 10 inches. I'Ll put all those measurements for you down in the description, so you can refer back to them. So jon renau is generally a really great quality, wig brand, and this cap is quite comfortable. I don't find it's too itchy up at the lace and it's also quite light. I mean synthetic wigs are much lighter than human hair, so most synthetic ways are going to be fairly light, but this one um, i'm surprised at how kind of airy it all feels. If there's any other question that you might have about, catherine that i may not have addressed then feel free to pop it in the question box below, and i will do my best to get back to you. But if not then, hopefully this review was helpful.
