How I Styled My Kinky Curly 360 Lace Wig (It Was A Struggle!) | Ywigs.Com

Hey guys, it's Brittany, and today I have a another - will read for you guys today to interview is brought to you by Y weeks calm. So this time they sent me this very short, curly Bob and I did go ahead and bleach the knocks off-camera and I also tweets a hairline off-camera as well. For you as well, hair type is Brazilian human hair. It'S a kinky, curly texture, honest and natural color, and it's 180 percent density and it's 14 inches and I have a medium cap and it is a glueless 360 capsule. You get lace all around. So this is what inside looks like you get three combs all around the front, but I don't use the columns in my wigs, so I'm gon na go ahead and take this razor and just go underneath the thread and cut those out because I don't want. You know any tension on my natural hair, because I'm now that I have more time I'm gon na try to take better care of my natural hair. I definitely learned my lesson not gon na use the combs. I use the back home, but that's the only home that I use so I'm gon na go ahead and try this on oh yeah. That was something I did notice about this week, um with a lot of the front two weeks that I get, you get lace a lot more lace in this. It kind of comes like close to my eyebrows, but I mean I can still work with that. Obviously, but I'm just used to having more lace in that. Oh, I struggle to get this nice full look. I'M gon na probably insert some of the footage of me like upon it and everything so with this one I didn't have to tweeze that much of the hairline. So if you're somebody that doesn't like to do all of that to your wigs, then this could be a good option for you. So yesterday I thought I was gon na after I applied it with it got to be free spray, and that's how I applied like all of my wings, because it's the easiest way to do it for me and it's not as messy after I applied the the Front of the wig, what I did was I wet it down with a spray bottle, some Cantu curling cream on it. So I could like way down the curls, and I did that to the whole league and I also took a hot comb and kind of stretched out the roots, so they would kind of fall in a certain direction and that wet look. I was not feeling at all. It looked very still, look really natural to me that wet look, but some people like that wet look. So what I did was I let it dry a little bit and then even after it dried. I was not feeling like the really tight curls, especially at this length, to me. It kind of looked like a jheri curl. So what I did was, I took a paddle brush and I started to brush out the curls with the paddle brush and it did start to get it. You know more of this fro e natural texture, and then this morning I took a pic and lifted the roots and that definitely made the wig look a lot more natural. In my opinion, this took me a lot of work to get it to my liking. So I don't know if I believe this wig is for dinner friendly, because I did have to do a lot of manipulation to get it to my liking. But I'm glad I did experiment with brushing it out and lifting the roots with a pic and all that stuff, because it looks very natural now still looks very when I did not like go crazy with the tweezing. Like I told you guys, because this I did a side part and the wig is down like this side over here, I don't even have it adhere to my to my head. I just have like a bobby pin on this side because I knew the hair was going to fall on inside. So I only like adhering it at the front and then on the side. I do have some shedding, but I did do a lot of manipulating to this wig. I'M not really worried about tangling too much, because I'm not gon na be breaking my hands through this week. In fact, you have to comb this week, I'm gon na do it while it's wet just has 180 percent density. When I first got out the SAC, I really couldn't tell that so after I manipulated it started, picking it out and brushing it out, you can really see how full this texture is. This is very, very cool. I do have a little bit, and I do mean a little bit of baby hair to have a little bit right here right here and then just some of the hair got caught in the free spray. As I was applying it - and it just looks like baby hairs, so I have a little bit of baby hairs around the front on the wig and I do think a lot of people don't like baby hears, but I feel like they really do - help compliment curly. Wig, if you're having issues with concealing your lace, baby hairs can help that I wouldn't rely on that solely, but I do think baby hairs can be helpful. This is a really nice week that will mimic natural textured hair. I don't know what curl texture this probably resembles, maybe like for a f-4b hair, but it's very, very beautiful and very soft out of the pack. The hair was very soft as well, but I think even more when I put the water and then the Cantu and then let it dry overnight definitely make hair even more soft.
