How To: Pluck And Install A Lace Frontal For Beginners *Detailed*

This video is about My Movie 12

What'S up love gang, it's the girl trying to love, and i'm back at it again with another video. Today, i'm going to show you guys how i plug my lace front tool so that i can get a natural install, i'm going to also be showing you guys how i install this wonderful wig as a well. So let's get into it all right! So i'm coming on here with the knots already bleached or whatever the case is um. The first thing i'm doing taking some hair in the front so to just part it and to cover the tracks. Okay. So the first thing that i'll do is i'll part out that very front section of the frontal and do some slight plucking to it, because, depending on where you get the frontal from it may already come thin. So i'm not going to be doing much plucking to the very front, because you do not want the hairline to start receding. You want to make it look natural, but you don't want to take off too much hair from the front toe. Then what i'll do is i'll start on that back section, and then i will keep on parting going further and further towards the back. Now i just want to let you guys know that you never want to over, pluck because there's a thin line between over plucking and making your frontal look natural. You want to part in a zigzag motion in a zigzag motion. Sorry, if you plug too much in one spot, you will get bald spots, so you want to make sure that you're plugging but you're moving around in different places. Now, as you can see the way i'm holding the tweezer, i'm holding it on the flat side, you never want to um tweeze with the pointy side towards the front, because you can rip your frontal, especially if it's hd, those laces are really easy to rip. So you want to make sure that you're being gentle as well. I have this problem a lot like. Sometimes, when i pluck i'll realize that, oh my god, i was going too hard and i ended up ripping but not ripping. But i end up causing holes in the front. So - and you want to try your best to avoid this because then it would just lessen the amount of times you can reuse your frontal. Now, when i'm done, i will comb all the hair back and then i will go in and see where it needs to be plucked, some more where it looks thick. I want it to be a very, very, very smooth transition from thin to thick, because if you look at the hairline it starts off thin with not as many hairs and then as you go back, that's where it gets thicker. So that's what i'm trying to do right now, i'm just going in looking combing back seeing how it looks stretching it back and if i see anywhere that looks like it has too much hair, then i'll just plug that off. Also, another important thing is that you will part off the part you will want before you start plugging or if you're doing it for a client, you will ask them what kind of part they want, so you can plug. According to that, you see how i go further back into the hairline. The reason why you want to actually client that or the reason why you want to part before you start plucking, is because once you make the part you wouldn't pluck the part now say, for example, i wanted a middle part or see how i have the side. Part if i plug that part - and i went back and back and back then when it's time to part it - it will be missing mad here and you don't want that because then you're gon na have to fill it in and the more hair. That'S on the part, it just looks more natural and you have to use less product to make up for the missing hairs. So that's why you will part the hair before you pluck now. Also, do try not to pluck in places that you would do like a middle part and on both sides because say, for example, you install it first as a side part. Don'T pluck it too much in the middle, because if you reuse the frontal and you want to do a middle part, you don't want to have mad hair missing from the middle. So what you will do is you will steer clear around certain areas. You don't want to go too far back in certain sections but anyways as i'm doing now, as you guys been seeing i'm plucking in the front and then when i feel like that section is plucked enough. I part in a zigzag motion or in a dragon motion. Just not really in a straight line, it doesn't have to be exactly zigzag, but just not straight across and then i begin plucking part it pluck part plug part plug part plug and then once i feel like i went back enough. I don't go too far back. I just go based off of like okay, that's enough now, but if you guys want like an exact measurement, i would say like half an inch, it's fine to go back and then that's when you comb all the hair back and you see what more needs to Be plucked which areas needs to be plucked more, does it look? Even does it look smooth? Does it look gradient and that is it i'm gon na? Let you guys watch the rest, see what i'll see what else i'm doing and i'll be back, but i'm doing something different now that i'm done plugging and flattening it with the mousse. Now i'm plucking, the part, the part doesn't have to be plugged. Super super super straight because they're always quick fixes like, for example, the black spray which i use i just like to plug, so that the part is clean and then it will be straightened up on the day of the install or when i'm installing it with using The black spray, the black square i use - is the high beams intense just something i can't remember the exact name. So sorry, but it's going to be in the description box down below, so you can check out the description box and i will let you guys know so after plucking, this frontal, i felt, like the part, was a little bit too bulky. So what i did was, i chose to part out the hair that was directly at the top of the frontal um of the part directly on the top of the part, and i went behind that to plug up some of the hair so that it depart just Lays flat - and it looks more natural now that it's time to install i'm doing the ball cap method, that's some foundation on the cap and now i'm taking some bolt hole and just spreading it around the perimeter to glue it all down. Once the glue is dry. I'M taking my scissors and cutting the excess cap off and i'm going as close to the scalp as possible so that i can have a seamless ball cap now that it's time to start gluing the wig on what i'm doing is i'm putting it on her head And seeing how everything fits like once i get the wig on the hair, i look at how the cap looks underneath it, and if the cap is too far up, then i will go back in and cut it so that the lace just lays flat onto the Skin and onto the cap, and that's really important, because if you have a cap that is not so seamless and you put the lace close to it, it will be easier to see where the cap is and that's something you do not want, because that's really really Really really really unpleasant. I was gon na say ugly, but i'm not gon na, say ugly, but i hate to see um the cap underneath it so make sure you wan na make sure that the cap is far enough behind, so that it doesn't show through the lace, because that is Not it at all, anyways i'm applying the glue now and i did go ahead and cut off the um lace in a zigzag motion and i'm just working in sections. Now i used to do a straight across, but i prefer working in sections now, just to focus on one place at a time now put my second layer of glue, not sure. If i mentioned this, but i am using the bold hold not acted, just a regular brutal because the other active one, my b spy store is trying to charge mad money for it. When i know damn well they're adding like at least 15 extra, but they have to get a profit, so i understand, but i was not trying to pay that at that point in time. Like you know what uh uh, we that's, what we're not gon na do, but yes, by the way, i do three layers of glue, no more no less than three layers and then once that layer is halfway dry. We never want to wait until the layer is completely dry. I just want to make sure that the majority of the glue turns white before you start um gluing it down, because if you wait till it's dry, then obviously the lace is not going to stick down. So it must be tacky, but not extremely dry. As you can see, it's still kind of white, but don't worry because none of that's going to show. But i'm saying this to say that you don't have to wait till the glue turns 100 clear because if it turned 100 clear most likely it's 100 dry or at least 90 dry, you don't want that. So what i'm doing now, since it was still white, i took my blow dryer and pressed that onto the lace. Now i'm doing the side braids and the sideburns where were acting, really stupid to stick down and i was getting mad and i wasn't getting mad, but it was taking a while to stick down so i'm gon na. Let you guys know what i did to keep that down when i get there, i'm gon na show you i'm gon na. Tell you guys just keep waiting and it's coming soon hold on. I'M sorry hold on hold on okay any day now: okay, yeah! This is what i'm gon na do i'll. Take some gossip glue spray and blow dry it, and then it sticks right down. So if you ever have a point in time where you're trying to stick the lace down, it doesn't want to stick down just because of the glue, then you would take some glass pickle spray and spray that bad boy blow dry and then stick the hell down. Like not going anywhere now, i'm cutting more of that lace off and just gon na finish the gluing down process and i'll be back to talk to you guys, some more as you guys can see everything is glued down. So i'm back to talk to you guys. Some more now, what i'm doing is i'm cutting off some more of that lace, um, because it just wasn't looking right and honestly what you guys are supposed to do is you guys got supposed to get as much of the lace off as possible because the less Lace, that's there, the more seamless the install will look, because, obviously the lace is not skin. She want to reduce as much of the excess lace as possible and that's the key to really getting the install. That looks like ski alpina. Let me stop, but yes, so now, i'm parting off the hairs for the baby. Here this was um uh, installed kind of inspired by arrogante, so yeah she wanted minimal baby hairs and the style she wanted was by arrogance. He did like these crazy curls that i didn't really know how to do, but i tried my best to get them. I don't know how he did that, though it was like ways like how the hell do you get waves like he just out of this world. I don't know how he did that, but i tried, but i won't get in it the exact same way and it's okay, because she still liked it and that's all that matters but yeah. So now i'm razoring the baby hairs down some more and i didn't cut it so short, which i should have cut it shorter. I don't know why i didn't cut it so short, but it's okay, because when i was done and it was folded down, i went ahead and cut it some more, but i should have cut it more now, instead of leaving like that, but it's okay! Now i'm just spraying some not super glue spray on the lace and then i'm going to spray some of that wig dealer melting spray as well after that and it's gon na just be tied down, but i'm gon na just tie it down. That was so bad. Graham, oh, my goodness, what's wrong with my grandma right now that was such a bad homework. I'M gon na just stop! But now i'm gon na tie it down with my elastic band. You can get your elastic band for the logarithmic store, just asking for elastic band. For wigs - and this is what they'll give you, then i'm going over it with a wig dealer lace cover. I don't know it's a wig dealer head, wrap whatever you want to call it it's one of those things. Okay then spray some godzilla spray, and now i'm just hot combing that bad boy flat, because we need a flat install if the install not flat, it's not a good install, and that's it simple. As that period, i swear to y'all voice. Overs are so hard for me, like i don't know my grandma be going all sorts of ways, all of that i'll be saying my dumb stuff and i'll be tired of doing my voiceovers over and over and over. So at this point i'll be just leaving them but yeah. So now i'm doing some baby hairs with moves, i'm using a lot of body, mousse and um. I can't really explain it like. I just put the mousse on and i begin formulating it and sculpting it. How i want it to be - and i know that your lace lips from this - because before i started doing my baby hairs with mousse - it always lift, but now i got it so where it doesn't lift, and the only thing i do different now is the thing With the godzilla glue spray, so i would recommend you guys trying that if you have the same problem i used to have like as soon as i used to put the mousse on it, use the lift so quick. So i will recommend you guys trying what i do with the godzilla good spray and tying it down for a little bit before you start doing the baby hairs with the mousse and um. Sometimes the mousse does dry out quick, so you got ta really work fast and i'm still myself working on moving fast with the baby hairs, because i, like my baby hairs to be perfect before i move on and by the time by the time. I finish one soup, the necks will be dry, so i got ta really work on my speed, but i'm getting there and i'm just getting better and made it better after every single install. When i get the favorites to how i like it, i tie it down. I didn't really get to film after i tied it down, but once it was all dry, i basically combed out baby hairs and cut them a little shorter. This is the finished. Look, don't forget to follow my instagram at restaurant.love. Add me on snapchat. It will all be description box down below. Thank you guys so much for watching. Che'Nique Rich: When I say you plucked this wig to THE GODS, you DID just that! Beautiful. You were very thorough & helped me tremendously. New sub XOXO

Martine Ingabire: 3 mins in and after watching like 20 plucking videos, you’re the first to mention parting in zigzag motion and putting part in first. And I like how u keep combing back and checking. This makes me feel more confident in doing this. Just got Le Secret body wave wig from Amazon and what the reviews say and show in comparison to what I got highly differ. And the hairline is way too thick to b realistic. I regretted the purchase immediately but she’s not a loss cause with some work.

Jasmine M: I remember Alonzo Arnold said to use a mousse that doesn’t have alcohol in it so it doesn’t lift the lace. Try the Nairobi foam.

CAROL HUANG: Great job, if with HD LACE, that would be best !Now our factory have stock with hd lace frontal, hd lace closure 4X4 5X5 and 13X4 , and transparent lace frontal closure, and regular medium brown swiss lace with some units, all length of bundles are in stock too, and lace frontal closure wigs  for hd lace in stock .Please find price list there too.

Shay Pierre: This is so cutee btw the reason sometimes the lace might lift once you add the mousse is cause it has alcohol in it. Get mousse with no alcohol like narobi and that baby will not lift

Aminata Bangura: Very helpful tutorial. Where did you get your tweezers from?

Shenithea Huntsman: Learn something new everyday because I didn’t know you could press mouse but you did that!

Milana Campbell: I had typos I’m trying to say with the wig cap do you have to glue it down every time you wear it or do you have to have a wig cap for each day of the week

Milana Campbell: And also since you are gluing the wig on to your skin does your skin break out from the glue if you’re going to wear the wig every day

Slayer Avenuee: Use a small flatiron to curl the baby hairs first . That’s how arrogant tae does it

living with faith: A new subscriber plucked game on point
