Sage Wig Review For The Simply Wigs Community

Hi guys um. I thought i would quickly jump on here. So i've not done one of these in a while, to say the least um but yeah. So i wanted to jump on here and talk about this beautiful wig i'm wearing today. So so it's the perfect opportunity. I'Ve got a little bit of makeup on and i'm going to a baby shower today. So i thought, let's unbox these amazing wigs - that simply wigs have sent me um. So yeah i'm going to talk about this one today. So this is sage that i'm wearing and it's from the amazing rene of paris and the color i'm going to go on to in a little bit because i'm obsessed with it um but yeah. So, let's um move on. Let'S get talking about it. Hopefully you recognize my face. You maybe remember me um from a couple of the other week, reviews and vlogs that i've done in the past um but yeah just for anyone, who's new and doesn't know me so i'm steph um i've got alopecia and i've had it. Since i think i was about 11 or 12 now so yeah, quite a while um, i'm now 28 now so it definitely time is um yeah going nowhere so yeah. I have worn wigs for a very long time now and i've shopped with simply wigs forever, and i absolutely love the guys at simply wigs and yeah, and i'm very fortunate that they sent me some amazing wigs to review um and yeah. So i wanted to show you my first impressions when i got this wig out box. I have had a little sneaky pete um, but yeah. So this is my kind of like first impressions taking out the box um, because i want you guys to kind of feel this journey with me. So yeah, i'm just gon na unbox. It now take it out. I had a little peek at the color um, which i was obsessed with. I think when emma emailed me she said you know, i know you like blonde. One of them is a little bit darker um. Oh my god, i'm obsessed with this color, it's amazing um. So yeah it's exciting! Look at this color, oh, my god. How beautiful is that color? Okay, so i said i would come onto the color in a second. So sorry, let me just get the tag um. This is shaded amber. So this is a completely new wig and it's from renee of paris, one of my favorite um brands for wigs and yeah, and the model is sage and the color is shaded amber. So i'm gon na pop this on now yeah. So we can, we can try it on together and we'll talk about the inside of the wig shortly as well, but yeah first impressions, amazing um. This color is really me. Actually it's rooted as well um. So what i mean by rooted is obviously you've got those kind of like darker tones in the root and that's it really makes it feel a little bit more natural. So i absolutely love that that's a huge tick from me straight away, um and it's kind of like a dark ginger, album, copper, anything warm anything with these copper colors in i am absolutely sold. So let's try this on. I just had a really big panic. Then i was going to put my arms up in this shirt and i would have sweat patches and i thought oh, no, i'm going to have to film the whole thing again but um. Luckily, i did not okay. So, as you can see, that was super easy for me to just put on. I am just going to kind of run a brush through it, but this is literally straight out the box popped it on my head running a little brush through it. Look how smooth and shiny it looks um. I absolutely love wigs fresh out of the box, and anyone who is a avid wig wearer will probably know exactly what i'm talking about and will feel the same but yeah. How gorgeous is this absolutely love? It um yeah? Okay, so let's talk a little bit more about the wig, so i absolutely love how it is framing my face. I have a habit of with wigs or with it yeah with hair and tucking it behind my ears, and we all know when you, when you're wearing a synthetic wig, it's not always as easy to kind of do that without it like feeling more obvious, do you Know what i mean um, but what i absolutely love about this instantly is that it is framing my face. Um yeah, i absolutely love that what do you guys think um first impressions of it i'd love to hear your initial thoughts and please comment below um but yeah. I think this style is absolutely stunning um. The length is absolutely perfect, doesn't feel too long and doesn't feel too heavy. It feels like something which is quite versatile, so something which i could pop on through the day and carry the look all the way through to the night, and i like to change my wigs and change my hair color and change the style quite frequently um. But i know that i would feel really comfortable wearing this um yeah for a long time. Okay, so we are just in my little home office, um, very pink, very bright i'll, actually show you this before um before i leave but yeah. So i wanted to get up off my stool and actually show you the wig and do a little spin, so um yeah i've stepped back a little bit, so you can see fully, but just look at that beautiful texture. Oh my god! It'S absolutely unreal! I just feel like it has loads of volume loads of texture. It feels like you've just had a blow-dry, which is absolutely what you want when you um get a new wig and now that i've kind of moved over here and i've got the spotlight coming down on to the wig. You can really kind of see those open shades and open tones coming through as well. I'M obsessed um. I actually think this is maybe my new favorite synthetic wig. I don't think that i have tried on a synthetic wig this good in such a long time. So simply wigs you've done an amazing job. You know me inside out. You know me better than i know myself and for sending me a wig this style. I just wanted to show you the lace up front, so yeah i'm getting a little bit too close for comfort. Now i realize ignore the little scar on my head um, but yeah. So it's got a really nice lace front here, um, which i really like, because i just feel like you can push your hair back off your face a little bit and still feel really confident. Knowing that you know your hairline is still looking really gorgeous and really realistic as well. So yeah, that's just like a nice little close-up of the um, the texture. On the lace front. There there's just a tiny little stray hair. You can tell um, but this lace also kind of runs down the top, so you've got a monofilament top and which yeah it makes it look like a really realistic, hairline and parting. Basically, so i'm hoping with that light shining on you can see that a little bit, but i am going to pop the wig off now as well and just to show you on the inside of the cap. So i'm just going to turn it round and then you can get a little bit of a better look. So here we go. You'Ve got that full lace front there. So that's absolutely amazing, um, really nice quality as well. It doesn't feel scratchy feels really smooth um yeah, and that goes all the way down there. So you know that you can kind of like brush apart in kind of either side, and you know that you're still gon na have that really nice realistic, realistic, looking um, hairline and parting. So that's a really nice feature there as well, and then the rest of the cap is wefted. So i just feel like these types of caps just feel like really kind of breathable, and especially you know, summer is coming, the nights are getting lighter and the temperature's getting a teeny bit warmer, so um. Definitely what we like um there's - nothing worse, i guess than when you're feeling like really hot and itchy um, but i never feel this way with any of these wigs, so yeah, that's really amazing as well, and then here these are my favorite types of little. I mean i never know what to call these but um. I just call them like little adjustable tabs um and i just think it's a really easy way to tighten those and secure them um. If you're anything like me and my sister, we literally do it as tight as humanly possible um. We like to make sure that wig's not going anywhere, especially when you've got storms coming in left right and center, and we want to make sure that those wigs are nice and tight and then again, i'm just going to show you this gorgeousness. Whilst it's off my head, i mean, i think it looks much better around i'm not gon na lie. I might much prefer myself with this wig on um but yeah. I think the only word that i can use to describe this is obsessed um. So i'm just going to recap a couple of things and then i thought we could do something quite cool um. My fiance paul is inside. So at the moment, i'm in my little home office. Let'S go and see what his first impressions are. He absolutely loves that i can change my hair um yeah. He actually loves me in these kind of tones as well yeah. He i guess his favorite is probably like bright ginger um but yeah. I think you'll like it. So i want to see what his first impression is like, but yeah i'm just going to do a little bit of a recap. So again, this is the wonderful rene of paris um purchased through the even more wonderful, simply wigs um, and this is the name model. I can't even think sorry, it's been um a long day kind of and it's called sage so yeah um, this beautiful egg is called sage and the amazing color is shaded amber and, like i say it is rooted and you've got a lace front. You'Ve got your monofilament top and it feels so secure so comfortable. It'S got this beautiful framing around my face, um, which i think everyone with a round face, needs um and it's got the most gorgeous texture and volume, and it's got that just blow-dried feel. So it's an absolute 10 out of 10. For me, um looks really good. Do you like the color yeah yeah? I love it. It'S my favorite color anyway. I did actually say that it's a bit lighter to be fair, but no, i think it's darker. I said, but usually you prefer me and like in like ginger color yeah. I love it. I like your fringe there because it looks like it shapes my face. Doesn'T it yeah yeah, i'm not gon na lie. I don't think he appreciated that. I just sprung that on him, but we got the sale of approval, um yeah. He liked the wig. I mean he wouldn't it is gorge so guys that is it from me. I know a little bit different tonight. I thought you know. Let'S get first impressions. Let'S you know show you a full 360 of it um and then yeah i mean we've got to see what the other half thinks. Um he's the one that pays me compliments all the time so got to make sure he likes it too um but yeah. I absolutely love this wig. It'S definitely a show stopper um. Ah i'm kind of lost for any more words on it. Um yeah. I absolutely love it 10 out of 10. um yeah.
