How To Do A Frontal Ponytail (Bun)

In this video I will show you guys how to do a frontal ponytail bun!

What I Used:

An old frontal

Bold Hold Active (lace adhesive)

Murray’s beeswax (black)

Design essentials sleek max edge control

Got2b freeze spray

Isoplus oil sheen (with coconut)

Ag firewall heat protectant

Needle and thread

Welcome back beauty, queens, I'm gon na be doing a frontal, ponytail bun in this video. I already put my cap on, and so we only need the cap for the front. I joked with the God to be good, and I sat underneath the dryer. Now I'm getting rid of the excess cap. I actually find that the frontal, not I actually find that the front door that I'm gon na be using is the frontal that I've already news, but if you guys have access to a thirteen by two frontal or any old front row that you have. I suggest you use those because it just looks a little more natural when the frontal doesn't come so far back unless you're doing a low ponytail to the back, then it doesn't matter. But if you plan on doing a high one, I suggest you do like a 13 by two, so it doesn't come to that far back. So I'm also gon na. Do this part a little different and stick down my ear on one side and then bring it over to the other side and stick it because I don't have anything, that's holding the frontal in place because it's going into a ponytail. So, in order for me to have some type of stability, I'm tacking down one side first and that just works for me. If anything else works for you, you know you just do whatever works for you, so one side may be a little longer, but you can always go back and cut off any excess lace that you have so now we're going to go ahead and we're going to Put one stitch on each support each side of the end of the front tool to hold it in place. So I'm gon na take my needle and thread and I'm gon na put one knot on the end of this corner and then I'm gon na go to the opposite side and I'm gon na put one knot on the end of that corner. After you put your night, that's what it will look like, whoo y'all see the back of my head. You see that friends. Then you cut your thread and then I see such it's right. You'Re gon na move on to the next side. Ain'T gon na do the same exact thing. So now I'm gon na work on getting all the hair up into a ponytail. I'M gon na take my baby hairs out, so I don't pull them back and then I'm gon na just put everything else up into a ponytail, so I can start to use the products to get the back of my hair to match the front. So I am spraying some firewall. You know I love this heat protectant, I'm spraying that because I need to flatten flat iron, my hair a bit in the back first before I apply anything on it. That was the infamous black beeswax that I love so much you take some of that. You put it in both of your hands and you just start to rub it onto your hair after you work that in design essential sleep max edge control, I'm gon na use that next and I'm gon na do the same exact thing with that. Then you take your brush and you want to work everything in together after you brush everything together, you can add that what I'm using is the got to be free spray. If you have another free spray that you would like to use, that's up to you, but for this I like to use the free spray a whole. It dries a lot quicker and it holds better now we're gon na work, the front in with the back I'm using two scrunchies. It always just seems like it's more sturdy when I used to you can use one, but I'm using two and I'm putting everything in a ponytail. So now it's time I do something. With these baby hairs, I'm gon na thin them out a little bit, I'm so I'm gon na take my tweezer and imma just pluck them some and then I'm going to give them some type of something. I don't usually do baby yeah, but I said you know: I'm gon na try this whole baby hair thing on myself. If my clients ask for baby here, then I'll you know give them baby here, but for the most part I like a nice natural, looking hair lines, not no dramatic, crazy-busy yeah. This part, you guys, if you want to just make sure everything is nicely finished. You can just go over it with your flat iron, you spray your free spray or whatever spritz or whatever. I don't suggest, spritz cuz, it turns white, but you can use that and then put some heat to it. Just to get it to. You know have a nice finish so now, like I said, I'm plucking my baby here, so I can lay them nicely. I don't really have any particular message to my plucking, I kind of just plucked in the direction that I want the hair to go. So the hair lays very naturally I'm. You know this front tool I had already used, so it was. It was kind of sucks already for the most part, but for this because the front is so flat, you know I just want everything just to look perfect. So, like I said, I'm plucking it and then I'm gon na take my scissor and I'm gon na just razor it a little bit. So the cuts are not so when I cut it the lines you know it's not sharp and then I'm gon na take my toothbrush. My baby hair brush spray, some of the free spray on the brush and then I'm gon na make my baby hairs like that. I don't like the whole hard baby hair. Look, so I'm gon na show you guys a trick. You can also do this with um with like some type of setting lotion, but I don't want to run a risk of it, lifting because I'm trying to do this kind of quick. So sometimes when you use the setting lotion or you don't use the right one, it will lift lease-up. So I'm just gon na use the free free to leave my baby heads down so now after you let it dry a little bit. I spray some oil sheen that is, I so plus or sheen with coconut. That'S the finisher that I use, but I spray it on there just to loosen up the hair. So they don't look shiny. You know, sometimes you see a little bit those baby hairs. They just look very like precise and very crunchy, looking no, I went over it with the the oil sheen so that it can loosen it up and I can comb it, but the hairs will still lay the way that I'm the way that I put them and You can go back as many times you know. If the hairline is not, you know the way you want it to be me. I just like I said once the baby has to look like, so I just had to plug some. You know more of it a little bit so my hair that I'm using I'm using some deep wave hair that I had for a while and I'm not using pins for this ponytail. So what you would do is take the end of the track and wrap it around once or twice. And then you take the rest of the track and you wrap around in the opposite way, making sure that you leave that first part underneath so that it doesn't unravel, and then I just keep on wrapping and then once I get to the end of the track. I do the same thing. I wrap it all the way around and then once I get to the last piece of it, I wrap that last piece of hair until there's no more hair, it's a little easier to do this because the bun is like a messy bun and the hair is Curly, so it takes no time and it is very secure without any pins. I have an issue with pins. I hate using them. It seems like if one pin doesn't go right and you try to take that one pin out, then everything just goes bad after that. Your head starts hurting and you want to take the whole hairstyle apart. So yes, the least amount of pins the better. If you have a method that will make sure that everything is secure. So look at this, our bun was quick easy to do. I accidentally pulled back the baby here that I had in the front, so I'm just gon na redo those I'm gon na put some water free spray on my toothbrush and then lay it down. I'M gon na leave it for now, because I needed to dry so that I can do the same or you machine thing that I just told you that's about. You can fluff the bun up as much as you like. If you like it tighter. You can also put it tighter now. I'M gon na fix that front piece so that it doesn't look so hard and then a bun is gon na. Be complete. Look at that. We are all done guys. Don'T forget that the less of a frontal you have to go to the back the easier it will be to blend the front in the back together unless you're doing a ponytail, that's gon na be low behind your head. I don't use the frontal , but my hair is wild thin around front perimeter, so I build hair on .. like we do with eyebrows.... I thought the hairs u were leaving put and "Tweasing" ( I was told, you "twease"your hairs, not 'pluck', we 'pluck' a chicken..that was a lot of plucks lol . The hairs you created, framing the perimeter of the frontal, were really annoying , for me... But cute girl?!
