Curl 90s. Inspired look! Oh my gosh, this balm, this hair is brought to you by no doula hair company. I'Ma, show you what's inside the box, how i customize and install this wig as well as how i style this unit. I sure don't because we're going to beverly hills now, if i'm gon na do good at that audition, we got to look like stars in this box. It came with a goodie bag. I received a comb, a wig cap, some eyelashes and earrings. This unit is a 13 by 4 26 inch body, wave, pre-plucked wig with adjustable straps. This unit is 150 density and it is a hd lace, frontal unit, so here i like to use my got to be glue, blast, free spray to spray away the little baby hairs and comb them back before i bleach this unit. The knots did come dark, so i did have to bleach this frontal. I'M using bw2 powder and 40 volume developer make sure the cream is this consistency, and then i just apply it to my wig and wait about 30 minutes and wash with purple shampoo. This is the hair the next day, i'm going to go ahead and straighten this unit before applying i'm taking my righteous gross silk press mist and mist that, throughout the hair, i'm going to take my flat iron and a comb and do the chase method. This unit is so beautiful. The luster on this hair is gorgeous. I wish it was more density to this hair. This is the result of straightening it. So, as you can see, i'm taking my concealer from the beauty supply and just put that all throughout the cap and also on the hairline. I did want to show you guys the full process of me customizing, the wig, applying the wig and also styling just so. You can see how long it can take. It took me up to six hours to do this whole process, which is not that bad, i'm going to give you guys a brief hair review, while i'm applying this wig, because i do have many videos of how i apply my lace - frontal wigs some pros. I have about this wig. Is i love the luster on this unit? I love how it feels it's very soft. I love the texture, it's a body wave texture and it's just gorgeous. I know this hair will last a while. I wish it came in a more density, but overall i just love the quality of the hair itself. I love the lace. The lace is very soft and easy to blend and melt into my skin. Some more pros that i have is that it does not tangle whatsoever and the shedding is minimal, like there's no shedding whatsoever with this unit. So now we're going to move on to some cons that i have about this unit. It does run small. So that's something that you have to watch out for everything can be so perfect, but if it doesn't fit your head right, it's like yeah, it's not good whatsoever. So my big head friendly, ladies, definitely make sure you contact the company. If you are considering this wig and another con, i wish it was more thicker, so it can last longer and that's basically it for the review. So here on the screen, i am just melting, my lace and while that is melting, i'm parting, a side part which is going to be where my swoop is going to go so make sure you part whatever part you want to do and then use a wax. Stick and a hot comb to form your parting uh. So, as you can see, i am parting, some more down and then just forming my part using my wax stick and hot comb continue to part it down to where you are creating a u-shaped part. So once you have that formed just get a ponytail holder and put that out of your way here, i'm just taking my eyebrow razor to cut off the excess lace once the lace is off. I am parting, my baby hairs away, so i can melt this lace down, so it can look like it is growing out of my scalp definitely check out my 20 21 lace, frontal installs, for more information on how i install my wigs. I did not pluck this unit whatsoever, which i wish i would have, because it would have looked even more better, so here i'm taking my wig dealer hairspray and just melting the rest of this lace down this step is imperative, so you won't be able to see Any lace when you're finished with your install once that's dried, i put an elastic band over and then i go back to my part right here is where we're going to start forming our swoop or just you know, preparing it not really forming it right now. So take the wax stick in a hot comb and also a straightener and just form your bang, towards your face. If that makes sense, so just work in sections you guys hot comb, it straighten it and then form it towards your face. Once you have that finished, i'm now going to work on the half up ponytail. This is what took a long time for me to do, because yeah half of ponytails are really hard to do, especially on yourself. So make sure you have a fine-tooth comb and just comb that up and once you have that form or once you have the parting. I don't know why i say form. But once you have the parting, get a ponytail holder and move that out of your way and then get another ponytail holder and move the rest of the hair out. Your way so just make sure in this whole styling process that the hairs are out your way. So you won't get like an attitude when certain hairs are not supposed to be where you want it to be. So here i'm just going gon na re-comb, my half up half down ponytail and i take my blast free spray and just comb that up make sure you have a spray sheen on hand and put that on your hands throughout this whole process of molding. Your parting and swooping your swoop and then i have a blow dryer as well. This is imperative because if you spray the blast free spray and then start rubbing your hands on your hair, it will start turning white and you don't want that. So the sheen spray helps cancel out the whiteness and then, of course, the blow dryer will help mold your parting and make it more easier to style. So i just basically alternate from the blast, freeze spray and the blow dryer and then just casually add some sheen spray to my hands. If my hands or hair starts becoming too sticky big shout out to slade by jordan, he is one of my favorite youtubers to teach how to install wigs. I seen this inspo look by him and i got so inspired and the way he explained it was so easy, but he was doing it on a client and he didn't know if people could do it by themselves and i'm here to show him. I was able to do it by myself, uh so yeah big shout out to slave by jordan. He is amazing and yeah. I finally got the ponytail y'all. I finally got the ponytail up. You don't understand how long it takes for me to do a half a ponytail. It still looks a little bit raggedy, but it's okay, because the pen curls are gon na block some of the mistakes that i did. We 10 minutes in y'all comment down a purple heart emoji. If you made it all the way to this step y'all, because this is going to be a long video and i'm trying so hard to get all the details and still make it short for you. So i'm not like talking all heads off, but i think i'm still talking all heads up. So i'm sorry, but here i'm slaying my edges. I have a full edge tutorial on a whole nother video. So that's why i sped this up a little bit. I basically use my pencil flat iron to make the seat curls. So now we are going to style this ponytail. First, we are going to do the swoop, make sure you have your bobby pins on hand by the way. So, with this swoop i took my time because you know style by jordan said you got ta, take your time with the swoop. So i took my time with the swoop and the swoop came out bomb okay, so i'm gon na explain it to you. Get your journal out your notes, so i'm partying it one by one. So i did like one part as you can see. Oh yeah, i'm getting a little tired explaining, but you guys can see i'm using my free spray, a fine-tooth comb and brush - and here is where, like i figured it out how to do like a bomb swoop. So have the sheen oil on your hands? Obviously get a blow dryer and just work in sections, so i use my finger to hold the mold. So as you can see, i'm rubbing my fingers down and then i hold it so when i comb, i hold comb hold, add a little bit more free spray. Get your blow dryer make sure it's a little bit. Tacky comb hold comb, hold, add free spray, hold it down, get your blow dryer and then mold it a little bit more so see how i'm working in small sections with this swoop. That is the key. That is the magic on how these, ladies in the 90s, was able to swoop these crazy swoops. I always wondered like how how and this is how so, basically taking your time and if your fingers get a little bit too sticky. Don'T forget to add that sheen oil on your fingers, because once your finger gets up and it's not oiled up, it's going to create a white residue. So i'm just going to let you guys vibe out and then i'm going to just teach you guys how i swooped it up back into the ponytail. So, as you can see, i hold it down. Blast, freeze spray swoop, get the banana clip hold that down and then part it again get another small section and do the same thing over again and just comb on top of that swoop. And that's exactly how you do it see, i'm reminding you guys get that sheen spray on your hands if it gets a little too sticky, i like to add it for every parting that i do. I am talking way too much, so i'm gon na just let you guys vibe out to the music and just visually, see how i swoop this swoop. You love it when i get so high make you sit right here now you can't go back home. You love it when i get so it's overdue for that undistressing over him. Now you under dressing call me up and i come finessing like ooh. We shot it with it. Do what it don't baby you a queen. You can move how you want. You was rocking with me when i couldn't stay afloat. Can we talk about how i body this swoop, this side pot swoop? I bodied this. No one can't tell me nothing period so in the ponytail i make sure i get that extra piece down before i wrap the rest of the hair around the ponytail. Does that make sense like that little piece, that's hanging in front of my face like what uh cardi b did. I don't know if that makes sense. Y'All, oh, but you guys can visually see it. So, as you can see, i got another pack of hair. This is pink lemon. This is high quality, hair balm 13, a 13 grade, a hair, 18 inches super bomb. So what i do is i take um the track and then a piece of the hair. I hope you guys can see, and i just wrap that around i wrap that extra piece of hair around like the bent part of the track. So i double tracked it up. If that makes sense, and then i wrap it around make sure you get a banana clip to take that extra piece out of your way when you're wrapping, because i know it can get into your way when you're wrapping. So here i just basically wrap around. Take your time make sure all the hairs are like perfectly out your way. Um, i'm just gon na speed this up, because you get the gist of it. You wrap it all away until you get to the end of the hair. I want to apologize to you guys if it seems like i'll, be i'm all energized and then mellow and then energized again. I never did no 20 minute tutorial before so. It'S like taking a toll out of me but anyways. I end up at the last part of the track. I'M gon na show you guys right here. So, as you can see the last part of the track and wrap that around, as you can see, i have that. Why do i keep saying, as you can see, girl you, you can see it obviously, because i can see it um, but anyways. I wrap the last piece around and then get a bobby pin and pin that up and that's basically it that's. How i add that extra hair, so we're gon na get our spritz make sure you have a spritz bottle y'all? I know you haven't seen that in years you got ta have that in deep in your beauty, closet or drawer. I don't know where you keep your beauty products, but make sure it is deep in there have that on hand, because this is where you're going to get those balm pen, curls, okay, honey, so we're going to do the first layer. As you can see, i used the clip to get the hair that extra hair out the way i'm gon na take a curling iron, get your spritz and your comb comb that, through make sure the hairs are out of your way and then just curl that up The first curl is always going to be the worst curl because, like it's the first one, so you don't know what to expect. As you can see, i'm messing up already, but you know you get the gist of it um. I think i'm gon na just let you guys vibe out, i don't know yet i might pop in to let you guys know, but i used two pens. What is it called safety pins, not safety, pins bobby pins? Oh i'm getting a little tired, so i'm gon na, let you guys vibe out so yeah get your two bobby pins for each pin, curl and i'ma just pop in. If i need to explain a little bit more okay, y'all, i'm popping back up um. This is the second row as you can see. I got these big clips to get the hair out of my way and it helps so much so definitely get those little clips, because that will help a lot um but yeah. For the second row, i do smaller curls, so each row gets smaller and smaller with the curls. That'S basically it that's all. I had to say about that i'll. Let you vibe out again with the music. So all together, i did four rows. I want to say the last and final curl. What i did was just split the curls into smaller curls and pin it in random places in my ponytail, so it can just hang and have that nice little faux. Look. I don't even know what that's called, but you get the gist of it and then here i'm just touching up on the bang, don't forget to drown. I mean drown this ponytail with your spritz, so it can just hold and be perfect right here. I'M just touching up on the rest of the hair and straightening it. So it can, you know, look like i came out of the salon. I also sprayed that sheen spray on my ponytail and bang, so it can have that very shiny. Look. This is how long the hair is on me. You guys i'm a very short person. So long hair is extra long on me right here. I'M just trimming it, so i can have a blunt cut and then i bump the ends, so it can just give that nice like 90s. Look because that's what they did in the 90s, and this is the final look. I am so proud of myself that i was able to achieve this hairstyle. I love to push the boundaries of hair. I'Ve always grown up watching baps and 90s movies and being so inspired and wanting to be just like them, and i did if you made it.
