Wig Review "Broadway" In Two Colors/Sqhair Band Updo Tutorial

They say the neon lights are bright on broadway, they say, there's always magic on my hair and when you see me on the street, i know i'm feeling pretty neat, because i've got my wig on called broadway, my broadway, my broadway, oh okay, carried away. First of all, let me just say this: i was gifted these two wigs by one of my subscribers named elena stanley, hello, elena and elena is the gal who started the prayer group uh for my husband and i last year at 10 a.m. In the morning, which is why we still all have our prayer group at 10 a.m and if you haven't signed up or put anybody's name on the um list for us to pray for go over to my prayer video, it's always listed in my description box. Uh put a comment with somebody that you would like us all to pray for, because we do it every day we all set our alarms at 10 in the morning anyway. That said elena sent me these two wigs. She gifted them to me and it's really funny because i had broadway in my cart from wig studio, one probably three months. I guess and uh she said. Oh i've got two. I don't wear, i i don't think the color is right, maybe you'll like them. So she told me what the color was and i was like um, so this one is called apricot and i personally probably if i was ordering these myself would not have bought apricot, i wouldn't have bought it because i thought it's way too orange, but i love It she said: well, if you don't like it, you know pass it on. So i'm not passing it on. I love the color. My husband loves the color, like he's the expert, but i'm really really pleased with the color, the cut the style, the fluffiness, the softness of broadway she's, absolutely beautiful, she's from maine attraction and main attraction i found out is under the umbrella of henry margu. So the hair and the fibers are really excellent. I have bought henry margu wigs before from a wig shop down the block that is no longer there, and i really liked henry margu's wigs. They lasted a long time, the fibers, and that's really what you'd like to try to do. This particular wig from the wig studio. One is 125, but i didn't pay anything for it. Thank you, elena. I got two. I got two colors to show you this one here is apricot, so i thought i'd fool around and talk about this one and then i'll. Try on the other shade for you shortly, but we'll do some styles with this one um i mean she's. Just really. I didn't do a whole lot. I don't know what elena did elena, i'm not sure if you cut the bangs, but the bangs are absolutely perfect. I don't think i tried cocoa on to see how the bangs are, but i will i will try because they come with a side. 5.25 inch side bang, so you might have cut it. I know she didn't wear it because she didn't like the color, but take a look at these uh views. The the profiles on these look at this. So this is my right and the back. Look at the curl pattern and my left and um very nice profile. Lots of bouncy curls now broadway does not have a lot of permatease she's, not very high on the top out of my comfort zone, but she has so much curl and bounce and fluff that i really don't need the height, which is crazy because you know normally, I'M like up here somewhere with them. I can still get it if i bobby pin it i put the clips in, i can still get the heights from it, but she's absolutely beautiful. Let me read you she's 4.25 ounces, which is very very light uh. The back is 7 inches to 9 and 2.24 inches, so she graduates, bangs are 5.25, so uh. She comes with kind of a side. Bang like this, i'm not a side, bang person um! So, like i say i'll, look at the other one that i'm going to put on and see how the bangs are on that one. This is perfect. I didn't have to touch it. The ear around the ear tabs here - 9.25, the nape in the back - is seven inches nice length uh, the top is 7.25, it goes to 9.25 and the sides are eight to 9.25. So the overall of her is 13.25 inches, which is a beautiful, beautiful, um beautiful length. Just look at these bouncy curls. They are so beautiful and natural and the styles that you can get. Oh la la. I like these length cuts because you it's like buying three or four wigs in one, because you can do so much with them, and the variety of colors are amazing. Absolutely amazing! Now i'll show you the other one for the cap construction before i do some styles on this, and i will try this one on this particular color. Here she sent me is coco. I probably would not have bought coco because i think she's a little dark, but she does. As you can see, she has some light. Almost like a pecan delight, a little darker than pecan delight, but um she's got some nice highlights to it i'll trying to take them outside. Although it's pouring here uh raining gloomy days, i was trying to wait for a nice day to video these, but i just didn't want to wait any longer, but the cab is a basic cab construction, very nice, very little permatease on the top, not a whole lot. Nice, nice stretchable open wefting cap now the tabs on the back are the velcros, which you know i love ear. Tabs are really nice. They go over my glasses, really really really nice. I just kind of put my glasses on and i bend the ear tabs to my glasses and and she's got a nice velvet uh velvet front. It'S very, very comfortable the velvet front um. I think. That'S it anyway. I'Ll try the coco one on for you and i'll show you the difference uh in the darkness, and then i can look at the bang, although i think maybe she kept both of bangs. She had them. She said she tried them on. She thought this one was too dark and this one didn't go with her skin color and honestly. I didn't think this one would go with my skin color either because you know i'm really olive, but it's such a pretty. If you can see such a pretty apricot now apricot and me would have never gone because it just i thought was too orange, but it's just it's really youthful it. It brightens you and you know as we get older. That'S why the dark are a little too harsh when you're 78 by age, but i still wear them, because i don't care about my age so anyway, i'll show you a few styles on this one um. I have just kind of taken my comb and combed through the bottom. A little bit. I'Ve sprayed this one with cold water, a little bit to take down the shine and just kind of redirect it you can always just you know your hands are your best combs. I, like the the part you can you know on the top. You can really transfer to any side you'd like uh like so you know, whatever you want to do. I should look at my mirror. Instead of at myself yeah, you can do that with it, but yeah, really it's just beautiful. So let me show you some quick styles and um see what you think of her hold up so do so. Then i told you, i would show you what i do for an updo on my uh wigs and how i use the square hair bit. First of all, you know bobby pins, are your best friend you open up a bobby pin when you want to hold your wig down you just kind of twist it into your hair. You know open up the bobby pin like so you find a place and you put it in your hair. You can twist it around and push it up and that will hold your wig on like securely bobby pins. You can put all over your head. You can pick your hair up. You can do lots of stuff with bobby pins. So for my updos, this is what i do. I open up the bobby pin kind of hard to do here. Let me see, i think, what i'll do here oops. I will pick it all up like so see how i can do let's watch so that's sticking just lots of bobby pins in it and then i'll show you with the square hair band, so we're still putting bobby pins in it so hold on. So i just stuck bobby pins all over it. You can see how cute she is. You just open the bobby pins pin her all up all the way around. You see how cute she falls see. If i can see her with you now, you always have this space behind. When you raise, when you put a wig up in an updo, you always have your own hair, a fallout. Some my hair is so long now. I can actually take my hair out and put it up over it. Sometimes if i have the right color, but you take some bobby pins and you put them, you know try to get your hair up with your wig cap or whatever. Then you take any color any kind of square hair band that you would like, and you simply put it in the back of your head right there as low as you can go and it covers it all up, adjust these on the side and if you see Some of the you know the square hair band on the side. Maybe coming up just pull your hair around it a little bit and that's it. I, like all these messy things, but if you don't like those messy hairs or you're not comfortable with it, then you want it. I shouldn't do that. That'S why i broke my tooth. My dentist would kill me, don't look doctor, but if you didn't like them and you wanted those up away, you just put a bobby pin in twist it and stick it down. I happen to just like the messy look, and that is how you do an updo with the square hair band. Look, i just think and they're, so you know how comfortable they are they, the you, girls that have them. They just fall right into place. Let'S see if i can see back here and they hide, they hide that line from your own hair to your wig and nobody will ever know and it makes a beautiful updo. So this is apricot broadway. You see me coming down the street, but isn't she cute? She is so cute the updo see to me this style and this curl pattern is absolutely gorgeous for an updo and, like i said before, if you're 7, 70 or 100, who can't wear an updo, just a very classy classy look, and if you wanted to you Know you're going to a wedding, you wander the dresser up a little bit. I'Ve got those little butterfly clips. You can just buy these on amazon. I think i bought them for my granddaughter's father-daughter daddy-daughter dance, that my husband takes her to her puppet takes her and you just stick them in your hair, like that, and you've got you're ready for the prom girls you're ready. So this is apricot color. I will try on, but these are some of the styles that you can do with them. Easy peasy styles, easy to do. Girls, easy to do just sit in front of your mirror, sit in front of your vanity, get a whole bunch of bobby pins and stick them in and go crazy because you can do anything with bobby pins and this you could go out in a windstorm. This is not going to move, i mean this is not going to come off. Believe me, so i am just like so thrilled with this. I have this one in my cart. I think the colors that i had in my cart on broadway were nutmeg. I think the other one was called praline. It'S a brown with a blonde highlight close to that pecan delight, but it's a really pretty color and the nutmeg is a multi-faceted dimensional color. It'S got brown. It'S got blonde. It'S got strawberries going through it's very, very pretty for the summer. I'Ve had them in my cart forever and i i'm gon na spring for one and another one and i'm gon na take this on my trip to nashville, because i just think she's cute she's a fast dude uh and i and i love her. The hair is just absolutely magnificent, so thank you elena, for sending me these, because you know, like i say, couldn't make up my mind and i i just i love them. I think they're, absolutely absolutely beautiful. I will try to get outside now that i have it pinned up i'll, try to i'll, take it down and i'll try to get outside, because it is very gloomy out and very windy. But let's see what i can do hold on anyway. It'S so dismal, my glasses are a little tender, but i thought it would be fun to show you and then i'll put my other one on this color and i did you notice anything different. Look. Real close, i thought i'd try my blue contacts on with this apricot color. What do you think no dark eyes? Blue eyes? You saw my video. I did on all my color contacts that i got just for fun just for fun, and sometimes you know you're having one of those days that just something don't look right and maybe you're you've got a darker wig on or you've got something on your poppy. I'Ve got green, violet got all kinds, but this is me this italian girl in blue eyes. So now let me try the cocoa one for you, which is really dark, which will look good with the blue eyes, not that i care about my dark eyes, but i just think color contexts are just so much fun, um, just a change. So, let's put on cocoa, so this is coco. I think you know, what's really surprisingly surprising, to me that both of these wigs, both of these main attraction, broadway wigs, are identical. Usually, you know you get a wig and you get the same, wig same manufacturer and each one comes in so different. The hair is curly on one or the parts messed up or they're. Never the same. You never know it's like a box of chocolates. You never know what you're gon na get, but these are identical in style and everything. This is like. I say it's a little dark, but look with blue eyes. What do you think brightens it up? Some? Can you see with my glasses because my glasses are kind of hitting the light so uh, but this is her in cocoa all the way around very pretty color, very pretty color. I think elena, you have blue eyes, don't you so i don't know why you didn't think this. Maybe your coloring's too light if you're too too, too, fair too pale. Probably it wouldn't look good, but i didn't think i was gon na like this color when she said she had coco, and i thought i looked at it and i thought oh, it's got to be too black for me, but it really isn't. It'S got enough lightness. Uh in it that highlights it a little bit that i don't look like an old hag. Is that right, mary reid? Did i say that right anyway?
