How To: Half Up Half Down Hairstyle + Lay Down Your Lace Frontal Wig

Hey guys welcome to my channel, so I don't know what's wrong with me: okay, so today I'm gon na be filming a video on how I achieved this look. This is a half up, half down look on a lace-front week, so if you guys would like to see how I achieve this look, ok, first, as you can see, we want to have our cornrows ready and to go they're, not what you guys take that got To be glue, and with your got to be glue, this is actually gon na go around the perimeter it. Actually it's been easier if I were to put my wig on first and then sleep, my wig back. Actually, that's what you're supposed to first put your wig on and slide it back a little bit to actually see where exactly you want to put the glue at, but I kind of got ahead of myself, so you could do it either way so right here, I'm Just putting the got to me glue around my head around the perimeter of my head ear to ear, and then I decided. I realized that I skipped this up so now, I'm putting on my wig and just saying exactly where I want my week to be place before I actually put it on the glue, didn't wan na grab your hair dry air and the coolest setting, so that the Glue won't melt and then you just want to blow dry the glue a little bit before you actually put the wig on the glue. So I'm just blow drying the glue a little bit. You wan na do this probably for 30 seconds and then you can just fill on it and see if it's tacky once it starts to get tacky. That'S how you know that it's ready for your wig so go on so here I'm just pulling my cheek up and placing it on on top of the glue okay, so I'm grabbing my wig and I'll put it on top of the glue. That'S all that you need to know exactly where you wan na put your glue. You don't want to have it too far back, but you also don't wan na. Have you like too far up on your forehead and stuff? You want to have it a little bit like a little bit above your natural hair line. Cuz, you want this lace, week's recovery or natural hairline, because basically you're about to create a whole new hair line with the weed, and so I'm just gon na start pressing down the way. The Front's of the long lace into the glue and I'm caught to take in like some of the hairs within the lace and like person it in so the glue as well just to give it a more natural look. You want to make sure all hairs are out the way when you're doing it and then I'm just pressure those hairs down the lace. As you can see, I'm just trying to get the lace like where I want to get like. I want it to be, and then, while I'm doing this, you want to make sure you're pulling tight on your lead, so that you're, not just like you, know, pushing it down on there, make sure you're, also making sure it's secure and everything on your head security. Tight from pulling as well as person down on that glue, and so now I'm gon na take my blow dryer and it's still on the pool is sitting and I'm just going to blow dry everything into the place and, as you can see, as I'm blow drying, I'M kind of pushing some of those hairs down into the laces well, just to basically I do that to kind of cover up the lace in the front. You know you want to push some of those hairs down in the front. So if you basically look like those hairs, aren't coming from the hair long, so I'm just making sure on pull it tight. So let the we should be tight on my head and making sure our person down good on the arms on the we cuz, I'm blow-drying. So the key really is to just press down and just make the giddy drop, I'm going back in and I'm adding a little bit more got to be glue because, as you can see in the part that lace is not laid all the way down. You need to make sure the lace is lay all the way down so that you won't be able to detect any lace sticking up or anything you want to have that lace stuck to your hair. Basically, so I'm just going making it and I'm pressing those hairs over the lace. So you won't be able to see that piece of lace and I added a little bit more on this side, because the sides are a little bit hard for me because, like even even though I put more glue on the sides like it just keeps coming up, I don't know if it's just me: I just had to keep redoing and redoing this side. As you can see, you just got a crease down hard on it and make sure you drop and just take your time with it, because I was kinda rushing through it. So I kept coming up on this side. So just take your time, we do make sure it's dry before you actually start doing on it and stuff, and so here I'm just making sure everything is down and that I can actually calm in the hair and stuff. As you can see, that side is starting to rise up now, so I'm just gon na add a little bit more tequila right there. That'S all that's what I was talking about like the size just kept coming up, but all you got to do is keep adding a little bit more glue and just make sure you blow-dry it like. I knew I wasn't really blow drying it for it to dry. Like I don't know what I was doing, I guess I was just really ready to style it, and I was kind of just over it to make sure it is dry girl before you get some styling and stuff or just gon na keep coming up. That you'll feel be able to feel when it is dry. The glue but kinda like gets high on your hair and you'll, be able to tell when it's dry. So I'm just making sure everything is laid down and gooey and undetectable see a little a little bit of that lace was coming up, so I'm just adding a little bit more got to be glue right there. You wan na take your blow dryer and make sure that glue is dry and you also you don't want to do too much glue, because even though the glue doesn't leave like a white residue like I don't know if you can tell, but sometimes I can tell Yeah, I'm just going back in and making sure everything is pressed down and sick. Here really is all about the got to be blue and how you lay it down. You just got ta, be patient and kind of make sure you get all of that lace laid down in the front, because I feel like it's a little bit of lace. Sticking up then you'll be able to see it like in mom. I just had to keep like going back and making sure that all the lace was down and secured good, but really you won't have to keep on that if you just make sure you dry get that first time around. As I see it, I was just rushing: it wasn't really paying attention, but just make sure your place is good and dry. So that's really all to how I got it. So I'm lay down flat. That'S all I really do use, they got to be glue and just make sure I lay it down with degree so right here, I'm just gon na get into styling, and here, if you don't really wan na see bleep outta here you can skip to the end. To watch um the finishing product or you can just watch how I do do the half-up half-down stop so the style this hairstyle, as you can see, I'm just a party right now, I'm parting it where i want my ponytail to start. Basically. So I'm parting on both sides just trying to get the parts right. I wanted my ponytail to be more far up, so I'm just pardoning. I wan na support it. So just be your desired party for your ponytail and in the back I did not party. I just kind of grab some hair because I didn't want to part it with in the front so because the opponents, it would have been thin and easily, and I want to be funny too - I just grabbed some hair from the tracks in the back. Nobody will be able to see it because the ponytail is long, so I didn't really care doing that. It just grabs him here and guy. I just wanted to make sure the parts on the side was kind of. Wherever is the key now, because that's the parts people will be able to see this just take a moment and look at this parting, though y'all like girl, this looks like Scout. Did you see in the back? That'S what I was talking about. You could kind of see my cap because I just grabbed some hair from the track so that the pony said could be fooling. It was kind of hard call left of this hair because I only blow-dried it and I did it nothing else to hate. So it's a little bit rough okay, so I don't know why I'm taking so long y'all, but basically after you get your pardon and stuff like how you want it, just put it in a ponytail put it in your scrunchie. It was just taking me a little bit longer because this hair, which is doing too much for me, like I, was trying to call me and make sure I didn't call me too much as to where the glue and the lace started to come up. So I just had to be very, very careful cuz. It was a little bit rough since I didn't do anything to this hair, so I'm just trying to like take my time with it and stuff anyways. Now I'm finally putting my ponytail holder, all you just put it on as tight as you want it. I didn't do it too tight, because I wanted to pull it tight after I got done so I'm just gluing its high so right here, I'm just flat on in it, because I haven't flat on the hair. Okay, guys as y'all can see. I'M kind of looking at myself with this hairstyle trying to fill it out, trying to see if I really like you and see if I'm really feeling it and since I just don't think I was filling the straight look like it was just too straight for me. Her hair was doing smooth right and I do not have time so I decided to take the flat iron and add a little bit more volume to it.
