Hey guys welcome back to my channel anything new welcome to my channel and today, what I'm going to be showing you guys is how to do your measurements when you're making a wig on a sewing machine. So what we have here are your canvas, dome heads or canvas wig, making heads whatever you want to call them. I have a 21 a 22 into 23, so first things first, when it comes down to making a wig whether it's on a sewing machine or whether is by hand you have to have these different sizes, everyone's head size is not going to be the same as You can see this is a 20 and 22 and 223. You can even tell them in sizes how they look small medium, really big for the file big head. Now, I'm just man in anyways tell your homegirls about my channel like if you have not subscribed, hit the subscribe button cuz. You can't get this nowhere else and, if you've seen it somewhere else, they copy it period and I'm just playing but anyways hit the subscribe and tell your friends tell your man, tell your auntie. Tell your uncle. Tell your cousin's tell all them to come through. Let'S go so you have to have, of course, measuring tape. We'Re going to see what is my sub cumference and I already know my circumference is: I have a 22. So, of course I will use this head size, which is what I always use. Then you're going to go from here to the nape of your neck. I really can't see that man, so what is it? 15? I already know - and then you want to measure from here to here, which again is like about 15, but honestly what you really really want. You want to know the circumference of their head and that's it I'm just showing you guys. You know how to do the measurements, but I don't do that in all the way it's fit. So all you really want to go for is their circumference and make sure you purchase all of these sizes heads. I swear so g.od right now. If these alarms keep going off, I'm going to - oh my god - oh my god, it's just so annoying like that noise is so annoying right. It'S so annoying I'm over it I'm over it. But let's get back to the video I'm going to try to block it out. So next a lot of people ask me which is better when it comes down to the spandex. So when it comes so the mesh honestly, whatever you want to use whatever one you can find and whatever one you want to use everything, I tell you guys is always to do it. What it supposed to be, you don't have to do everything exactly like me. Be yourself and don't be, like me, be better than me: okay, the doll head has its cap on first thing. You'Re going to do this is that this is, of course, your neck, and this is symbolizing the nape of your neck. Like I said you don't have to do these measurements down here, because it's really unnecessary. In my opinion, you know not sort of thing any week makers out there. I just think it's unnecessary. I just grab this piece. This one is a little too low. You want it to look like this. You want to proceed with putting your lace to measure your lace, measurements you're, putting your front sole on your dome cap. It'S going to be the same process as when you're doing us, so in or afar to install. So you want to just put it in the middle of the clients head: we're just going to pretend that this is a client you're, never going to put the frontal directly on the dollar caps beginning you're always going to come up of it about half an inch And put one back here: if you've watched my handmade wig video, I told you guys that this was incorrect. You'Re, never going to pull your lace back like that. That'S not how it goes. If your Front's, who doesn't look like an M in the front, you did it wrong, if that's too hard for you to understand, you just want to lay your wig straight down right, where this is you're, just going to go straight down like boom you're, not gon. Na bring this back like that, that's wrong! Just gon na come straight down right there and you want to do the same thing on this side. Just put the photo straight right there you see, it looks like it in that's correct. If your frontal is down like that, it's wrong at this point, this is how your weight should look. These right here should be taped down to the nape of the neck, stretching your cap out. So this is gon na, be the most realistic that your wig is that at this point, because this is basically how the wig is going to fit on your head or your clients it. So you want to get a metallic sharpie you're, just gon na trace out where the frontal is. This is how your wig should look at this point, and this is where your will will lay exactly if your line is coming way back there. You did something wrong. You, if you do not know how to make a wig by hand, I suggest you learn that technique first, do not try to jump into just using the sewing machine, make it if you don't know how to use your hand, sewing method. Now, if you don't know how to sew, but you do know how to use a sewing machine, then by all means go for it. But I recommend that you start off doing this first by hand and then progress and move on to the next step. And that's what they do think you want to learn the basics of your skill first and then you want to proceed and progress in that craft. You you you you, when you put your wig on your ear tabs weaseling, the elastic band is not inside yet, but wherever your ears are right here. This is where you want to sort of, and so I have completed my wig. My machine made wigs

AgirlnamedLeo: This was the best video I've seen regarding wig making! Thank you!!

Dy-Nashae Gunthrope: Hey, I love this video. I have a question about the cap once using the sewing machine... what helps the cap from not shrinking from the size of the canvas head you’re using?? Once of the canvas its back to regular size, so wouldnt the hair you sewing be to the shape and size of the cap ?? Or is it about the lines made before removing from canvas??

Niomi Gardiner: That's AMAZING! Thanks for sharing

Cynthia King: GREAT TUTORIAL!!! Every detailed.

Megan Reynolds: I'm liking this method but I have questions. What kind of thread did you use? Who much of the bundles were left over? Do you still layer the tracks on top of each other if they're double wefted?

DWIZZIFRY: this video was helpful in so man ways. thanks girl !

Bertha Olorato Nyame: Thank you, thank you!! Best detailed video of all time!!!

Valerie Spencer: I been doing my wigs my machine for YEARS! But, I do the frontal first, that way if i need to add tracks to the side by machine to make it fuller i wont have to go back.

Tineisha Clarke-White: LOVEEEEE this video! I was sewing my tracks one at a time now I see how to double it . And I was putting my frontals/closures on first - so annoying cause it gets in the way and slow me down. Only thing I don't do is measure heads... Although I have 3 different size heads I don't measure just sew .. it hasn't bin a problems size wise so far but I like your method.. and the marker .... OMG.. I've bin trying to figure out what I could use to do my lines and they stay and failed.. hence why I just sew on the closure/frontal and sew.. once again.. thanks a million definitely subscribed!

TheCryptoQueen: Hi Ericka, does the Metallic Sharpie wash off the wig cap when you wash the wig or are the lines permanent? Thanks in advance ❤

Jada Zhané: hey, mannnn you a blessing for this one, and the hand make wig making tutorial too! we love you!!! I been doing it wrong forevaaa

Lady La: All you have to do is put a NEW battery in the fire detector! When it beeps.... It’s letting you know to replace it Now , to the video. Good job as always. I’m going to attempt the sewing machine method.

Niomi Gardiner: How long do you reckon it takes from start to finish? Glad you showed you the difference in head sizes cause I would have gone one size for all lol

Lola Love: I love your channel! new subby!you explain the method the best in my opinion

Shay Lanett: Thank you for this info! Quick question. Pinning the cap down while measuring the frontal is to make sure the cap will fit a 22in head. But what did u do once you starting sewing it? Because once you take those pins out to sew the tracks the cap is back to his normal size correct?

Mellow Denese: Beautiful. I'm trying to learn how to make my units using a sewing machine. Do you have a tutorial on how to thread a sewing machine?
