Joining me, hey, y'all, welcome back to my channel. So in today's video i am going to be doing my first big install all myself, i'm going to be using this t-part 24-inch waterway wig that i got from bgm girl. You can go ahead and check the site out. That link will be down below in the description. I don't really know how to install the wigs on myself. So it's going to be a challenge for me with the teeth hearts because tea parts are difficult to install, but you know i'm up for anything. So i went ahead and started putting my braids in, i believe i put about 10 braids and, and it was it was a challenge for me. I don't know why it was a challenge just hopefully for me, even though i do here and i do braids. It was a challenge for me to put these braids in my hair and it looked a hot mess. So you know i just went ahead and just did the braids off camera because they was looking bulky. Someone was too small, someone's big and like one was real big and the middle one was real flat in the middle, like one side was higher than the other. So yeah i braid, but it was. It was something different this day, so i went ahead and just finished this off camera. So i went ahead and put my cap on this. Cap was lighter than my skin, but i put makeup over it anyway, so it didn't matter. I didn't want it too, dark to where i couldn't lighten it. So i just put the light one on anyway, i'm putting spritz on it right now. I use the spritz mousse, i didn't have any free spray, so i just use whatever i had, i'm just rubbing it in right now and making sure i get the sides of my ears. I didn't cut the size of my ears out until i realized, like i didn't, cut the size of my ears out, but i cut it out after i realized it, but i'm just smoothing it in right now, making sure like it gets on every part of my Hair and it don't lift up once i cut it, i blow dried it on cool. I didn't want to do it on high. I don't know i just feel like hot and alcohol don't mix, so i did not cool, but i did it on high cool, so it didn't take too long to dry spritz. It drew a dry like maybe the same time that free spray dry. So it wasn't. No different than using freeze spray, so if you don't have free spray, you have something else like sprays: go ahead and use it because you don't need free spray every time and free spraying is good for you as you think it is, but i use it anyway To each his own now you see, i already got the glue on and i got the makeup on. I did it off camera on accident. I forgot that it wasn't even recorded anymore, but i went ahead and put a couple layers of bold whole glue on and i got the lace and i'm just making sure that it dries clear and my dumb cells didn't let it dry clear all the way i Was thinking like okay by time i get the wig like over my head and adjust it it'll be dry by then no, it was not dry and i just went ahead and kept on going and put the wig down on the glue and it wasn't dry. So it did mess up the install a little bit, but i kind of fixed it you'll see in the video, but i should have just waited just a little bit longer or blow-dried it just a little bit longer before i went ahead and put the wig on Because you could see the glue through the lace, but you know i'll know for next time got ta learn from mistakes, because this is my first time so when they say let it dry clear. Let it dry clear because you're going to see the glue through the lace, so i was going for my mistakes now, so i'm just going ahead and placing the lace on the glue you don't want to make. You don't want to place it like behind the glue, because when you take it off it'll be like that glue residue like in the front. You don't want that, so you want to make sure you put it right on the glue like right on the edge and make sure it's where you go to cut it off you're not going to like have like a sticky line across the front. You don't want it to be sticky, because here we're starting on there and the start getting dirty and it you will you're going to see the dark line so make sure you're placing it right, usually the videos that i've watched the people mark the lace in the Front over they will place it down after the glue is applied. I didn't do that because i didn't have anything to draw onto the lace. I didn't have no like no pencil or anything to draw the line, so i just placed it after and just i just kind of guess, but yeah. So i'm going in with the blow dryer now before i put the band on to dry it a little bit, because i was scared that the band was going to get stuck to the to the lace and sure enough it did but, like i said, i'm gon Na see in the video so yeah i'm just blow drying it i'm blow drying it on cool. I don't want to do it on hot or warm, because that's not gon na dry. The glue, that's just gon na heat. The glue up - that's hot heat on glue - is going to not dry the glue. That is just warming the glue up to make it soft. So when you go to blow dry the glue make sure that it's on cool, you don't want it on warm heat, and i do got it on high because i wanted it to dry quick, but you don't want to rush something like this. Just take your time, you know, because i made a lot of mistakes that i just like never would have thought i would have made like all these videos. I'Ve watched. I made a lot of mistakes that i'm just gon na have to learn for next time, but i'm pinning it back right now, so i can put the band on. You want to make sure like when you put your band on that, it's tight. You don't want to like slip or anything so remember, just keep it tight. Oh, i didn't even put the band on this part. I cut my lace off. Actually i remember i cut my lace off and no, i didn't use the kitchen scissors took up my lace. I just used them to cut into sections, but i used a little eyebrow razor as you can see, to cut the lace off so it could be jagged, so it could look more natural. It didn't look as natural, maybe because my hairline isn't that shape. My hairline is not that shape, but that's the kind of shape i wanted. So it didn't look natural to me at first because that's not the hair one i have, but when you cut the lace off, try to do jacket motions so it can look more natural. So once i cut the lace off, i was just looking and looking looking because i didn't know if i wanted edges or not because i didn't know how to do the edges. So i'm like, i was asking my boyfriend because he was in the room with me watching me and saw the wig, but i ended up doing them anyway. But what do y'all think like? Did it look good without the edges? Well, y'all gon na see once i put it down like and once i fix up the lace, because you'll see that it's kind of white residue in the front and the lace is kind of lighter and i didn't put no. I did, but i really didn't because, like it was messing it up as i after i realized after applying it, as you can see, i was trying to put makeup on her to match my skin, but it wasn't working. It wasn't working for me at all. I don't know what kind of makeup i was even using, i think i'll, be using some some powder makeup, but i'm gon na have to just find a replacement for that, but i was trying to cover up the white lace. Part like you. You could tell like where your the lace is, like, maybe you've seen over the top of them. You can't see it but like if you're sitting in front of them, you can see where the lace is, and i was trying to fix that and it wasn't working with the makeup. It wasn't working at all. So what i did i had um. I was just trying with the makeup, so i was thinking like okay, what some things i've learned in these videos that i've watched over the past couple of months and it was to spray some got to be spray on there. But i didn't have that and i ran out of my spray out of my spritz that i had so. I was using the pump it up spritz and it was working just fine for me. So if you don't have the got to be use whatever you have, because it works just the same so once i went in with that, as you can see, it kind of like started, making it a little more transparent and blended in with my skin and y'all. Don'T come from me saying that oh the size, ain't even down the sides, ain't even down. Do you see the size? They look crazy? Yes, i know the size ain't down, because this is a tea party and it was hard for me to get them down because it's so bulky by the ears for a tea part. I don't know why, but it was bulky and i couldn't get them down and i didn't keep swimming for long. So it didn't matter to me, i didn't mind so here, i'm putting on my band and when i tell y'all the band messed up all the work before i put it on, like it messed up my whole spritz thing and messed it up. So once i put the event i'm thinking, oh, this is gon na be late. This is gon na be scope. It'S gon na give what it's supposed to y'all. When i say it mess up my lace like if i didn't put the band on it would have been perfectly fine like it was fine in the end but like it would have been better like. I wasn't disappointed because it was my first install. I got ta learn from my mistakes, but the band man like watching all these videos after the band it'd be scalp like so i'm thinking i'm gon na have scalp after this van, and it was nothing i was mad because, like i don't know what kind of Lace that was, i didn't remember it was it had like a blue tone for me. I don't know why, but it was good enough for me to blend it with my skin and i just messed up with that stuff putting that band on there. I don't know if it was the band or if it was like my process of putting the lace on the glue. I don't know where it went wrong, but that may mess up and you will see in the video. So, as you can see on my part, it was kind of like over bleached in the back somewhat, so i just took some um. I took some mascara and i just put it on there. I tried to put it on the comb and do it, but actually it really wasn't working. So i just went in directly with the mascara brush. It was a brand new mascara and i wasn't gon na use it because it wasn't a mascara that was on my eyes. So after realizing, i just went in with the mascara brush, and i just filled it in so like it could be a straight line. It was just blonde and it wasn't like going into my part because it was over bleach and that's something i learned from other videos also so y'all when you want to go ahead and just do that, install that you've been dying to do it yourself. Just watch some videos and learn a couple: things watch different people. Could you learn different things from different people and you will learn like what's what's popular when you're doing an install, so just watch the videos and it will help because i watched plenty of videos and it helped a lot without even doing insults anybody else so yeah. I'M just hot combing a little bit getting the flat vibes. It wasn't as flat as i thought it was gon na be, but i'm i'mma say it again. It was a tea party and now i see why stylists don't like tea parts as much as a regular lace from, but you know you got ta work with what you got so i did but yeah. So i'm just flattening it down getting rid of those flyaways and y'all. Y'All know what i didn't have no wax stick. It was so many things that i didn't have and i was so mad because, like i had to get this wig because, like i needed my hair done, but i was so unprepared, freshen and stuff like i didn't - have no wax stick. I had no freeze spray. I didn't have the right makeup. I didn't have like some good cutting scissors. I didn't have a wide tooth comb like a weight brush or anything to like brush through my curls. It was. It was a lot of things missing, but i made it work way too. Easy to find it was, i made it work and for my first install, i made it work for sure yeah. I never had all this all of this, this hot combing i did too much and that i'm re-watching it, but i'm gon na go ahead and take the wig out the ponytail now and y'all see. I still only take that band off and it's just going ahead and ruining even longer going back in with the blow dryer like it's gon na help, just it it messed it up. You messed it up, but yeah um and again leave the the blow dryer on cool, because you want it to dry, you don't want it to melt more. You want it to dry, like you think, if you thinking like melt and you think a hot heat, don't think that you want it to melt into the skin, you don't literally want the glue to melt. You want to turn it into your skin, but at the same time you want it to dry, so keep the dryer on cool, so yeah now y'all can see like the curl a little bit and i'm just going directly in with the mousse. I don't even remember what mousse i use yeah. I don't remember what mousse i use on here, but i'm uh, i'm gon na drop dozen down below in the description for the moves that i use, because even with me, just only putting moose in i didn't put. No water in this i didn't put no water in it directly like the water got in it from me bleaching. The knots i didn't put no water in it directly, but i put mousse in it directly and y'all. The curls was cold, like with just moose by itself. The curls was cold on this wig, like the water wave powder in this wig is fire like y'all got to go and try it because i was like okay. I need no water. No none of that just stuff, some mousse in there i didn't brush it and i didn't comb it. I just rub my fingers through it and the curls were shiny and nice and bouncy so yeah i put a lot of mousse. Well, i didn't put a lot of mousse because i remember i didn't have a lot of mousse in that bottle, but i put enough mousse to make it like. You know shiny, and i don't even know why i did it before i was done. I was just so like in a rush to see what it was going to look like, because you know i was excited installing my first wig or whatever but yeah. So i'm just going to keep applying some mousse and then y'all gon na see me take the band off and y'all gon na see my huge mistake that i made but i'ma fix it y'all see how i'll fix it. I just did the same thing that i did before right: okay, y'all now y'all see me going ahead and i'm tying this band and now like untying it. I knew that i messed up because i'm untying it and it's like you, know how, when you like, undo a a hair scarf and you wan na tie it, and you feel that that looseness. I didn't feel that when i went and untied the band i felt it like still stuck to my head, so i'm like oh okay and i see where this is going. It'S stuck so me knowing that it's stuck i'm like. I can't do this on camera. I got ta, go and fix this and take it off, so i went ahead and took it off on camera off camera, and i realized that it looked how it did when i cut it, because the band got stuck. So i just went back in with the same spritz the pump it up spritz and i just spray some more on there to fix it and blend it back in. I did the best as i could, but it didn't look as good as the first time. I did it because you know when something gets stuck on glue and you pull it off. It looks a mess, but i did the best. I could fixing it with the spritz and it did look a little decent, so yeah now i can see like after putting the spreads on there. It did blend back in a little more, so i wasn't too mad or upset about it. You know, because i was going to take it off regardless, because i know i was going to keep the wig on for too long, so i wasn't upset at all now just looking at everything, seeing what's out of place and whatnot playing with it and now this Is where i like i'm comfortable i'm contemplating like, should i take the edges out? Should i leave the edges up, i didn't know but hey. I went and took the edges out because my boyfriend's, like where's the little little things in the front he's like i like those so i'm like. Let me take them out because, like i got a different opinion from when i was saying to myself. So let me just try and take them out, because i was dying to try some fluffy edges and it didn't get what it's supposed to and they end up looking too thick, because i was going for a fluffy look and i've never done them before so trying To do the fluffy look and end up being too thick like the edges. Wasn'T too thick? It was apparent thick like on camera, and it was apparent thick because i was trying to do the fluffy look so like i did pluck them like. I plucked them a lot. I plucked it just a lot, but at the end it still looked thick because i was trying to do a method. I didn't know how to do but yeah. I went ahead and did that off camera also because i got frustrated so y'all. This is the end. Result, i guess i don't really know how i feel about the edges, but just what i have to do. It'S my first weight, it's all on myself, so i guess i need to and it's a tea party so like the sides, don't look the best right now, but it'll do for the time here and my lace. It don't look as good as it do. One person then, on camera, that you do i'm rehearsing. I promise you, but the hair overall is really nice, like i put um mousse in it before i just wet it. It was already a little damp because i had to bleach the knots but um i put mousse in it before i wet it like fully, and then i put water in it just before, and i didn't comb it out or brush it out, because i don't have A wig brush, so i don't want to run a little comb through it because i don't want to mess it up too much but yeah. This is a 24 inch water wave tea part frontal from bgm girl. So if y'all want to go and try out this c part, the link will be dropped down below um, but yeah. Let me know what you think about the edges. Like did i like it before? I just took the edges out. I took the edges on off camera because i didn't really know how to do it, because this is my first install myself and i was really like aggravated, so i did it off camera, but um yeah. So just the end result so yeah. I should go. Try out bpm girl here the hair itself was so soft when i took it out the box, the hair itself was so soft. When i took my box like before, i wet it and stuff and um you get lashes and a clip, it says girl. These are some wig caps. These are like a little too dark for me, so i can use them. I already had some and then it comes with a little um, a little note and yeah. Once i post my review and stuff and i post pics, i get five dollars cash back. So once you guys order from medium girl make sure you drop your review down below on your site, and i also get money off using bgm coal, so yeah you guys, can go and check out the site they. The hair, is really soft and like it's. It'S not thin at all, it's 180 density and it's really like thick and full. It'S true the length because, like once, i stretch it out it's almost like 30 inches, like a 30 inch bundle usually comes down to like right there on me, so it definitely should land for a 24 inch, so yeah go check them out. You guys. I hope you like this video. I will post it more soon. My channel wasn't based off here, but now it will be because i finally fell off on the video that i were making but yeah you guys will be seeing more of me and more installs and i will actually be posting videos of me doing braids and we're Not in different styles or not so yeah so stay tuned.
