All right, so let me build you a needle, real quick, so i can get hey beauties. That'S checking in we're gon na start off with the ball cap, real, quick um! I was gon na. I mean 12 o'clock really mean like 12, 45, so y'all know the vibes. So i will be doing a hey, y'all, hey y'all. I will be doing a live demonstration today of a highlight wig. A 24 26 inch highlight wig from steiner, short hair, so um, so i'm just gon na go ahead. I was gon na. Do the ball cap method off camera, but y'all be asking about this anyways, so i'm just gon na go ahead and show y'all this. Let me grab the week real, quick y'all. I miss my spoon, so you got to see okay. This is the wig right here. Okay, i went ahead. I didn't have to bleach the knots because you know it's already like brown already, but i did go in and pluck it and stuff. Just like coffee don't mind, look at usually so i will go ahead and you know install it and i'm going to show you how i prepped the wheat. Why didn't plucked it, but i'm going to show you how i put one so we're just going to leave this back here. Well, however, happy holidays to all y'all y'all know christmas is next friday um, some of my main supporters y'all should be expecting a christmas gift for me. So just wait but anywho y'all, so we're going to go ahead and start with the ball cap method. All right put the cap on or whatever um her braids ain't fresh. So it's a little. You know hot up, because the growth is here but yeah and um. We, i i'm using my largest bottle today of my lacemute adhesive y'all, know the restock it's december 20th. At 12 o'clock midnight, so i don't want to hear nothing about. Oh, i know i know, because i don't set it in almost every video and i've been posting it. So i'm gon na just go in. I already cleaned her with my um lace, prep alcohol, which will also be ready for the restock, so i already cleaned up with that and then i sprayed her real edges, her real edges, i sprayed her edges back with a tresemme holding spray. I know y'all like where i've been i've been having a lot going on child, but i'm here and um now i'm gon na go in with the layers of the lace front, adhesive and it got a little squeeze. Nozzle holder make sure i clean it out because y'all know the glue be drying up in the hole. So, okay, i don't clean it out, so i'm gon na just apply that layer just a thin one. Ain'T got to be too much and just spread right across the hairline, like that, like right, right up just a little bit past her real edges, because you're gon na spread it back into the hairline anyway, and i had to do this y'all. Why? The kid is sleep because kyle gon na come out when he wake up he's gon na come in here and make all the noise he can make, and this ain't, my voiceover so y'all know what it is: yeah, that's the asian following but yeah and i'm gon Na take my um beautiful, hustler, spreader y'all know i got the rat tail brush and the spreader brush and i'm gon na just spread that glue right on back into the hairline, and this is how i do my ball cap methods. Every time now - and i just like it like that, because you get that extra security and glue here, let me cut a little bit more on the air. This part and yes, yeah. I am being ghetto. I do have the kitchen scissors because i lost my hair scissors, so we got to do it the other way and we're just going to spread that glue out like that. What was um? What was that it's used for? What'S that that is used for what you talking about, i missed it. I'M trying i'm gon na try to read the questions and also you know do this with y'all at the same time, so i applied a little later just a little bit. You know it just helps with the little melted process. I know your eyes irritated, but now i'm gon na take the uh trust my holding spray and spray it right on top of that glue and just take my fingers and rub that in okay, so over here i'll cut it you know, but once the glue dries. It'S gon na be stuck okay, so just try to make sure you get that all nice and i don't want to say nice and wet because it sounded a little weird but y'all get what i'm trying to say hold on girl. This little bar chair, spinning out of control, everybody should hate this part because it's so cold and stuff like that, how was opening for your shop? I just decided that i'm gon na make the grand opening on january 1st because the beginning of a new year. So it's going to be that friday january 1st, so now i'm going to take the blow dryer! I want to heat, set it and just blow dry that hopefully it blow dry just real fast, because yeah this ain't no voice over video. I was gon na just stretch that over so i could dry and that's what it's gon na. Do. Hmm, hmm! Thank you. I don't hit you in the hair, blow-dryer you're all right. I heard that little thump noise, all right so that dropped pretty quickly. So um now i'm just gon na go in with the kitchen swisses and get that um. You know extra cap cut off and i just grabbed it from the center first same way. I do my lasers always start from the center and i cut it all the way up now. Y'All see how it's down here, but you don't need to be down here. I usually just take my finger and just slide it right underneath because, wherever the glue started is where the cap automatically gon na stop look at front of the c own. Let me see, look at friend and see i don't i just love to see her get her hair done. Oh this little sis y'all, i wan na just shop shop. It'S gon na be a north miami. So if you're in miami broadway whatever and you want to come to the grand opening, it is going to be an open grand opening and you know we are going to have like food and drinks, i'm going to have hookahs and everything we really going to catch. A vibe and plus this new year, so it's going to be like a grand opening party. So it's not like i'm gon na be working that day, but you will be able to come inside and buy all the products that you need to buy and um listings. Here also is gon na have her custom-made, um bracelets that she's doing you're gon na have some onesies and stuff she's gon na have her um. You know her onesies and her sleepwear as well. So you know it's gon na be a movie and i'm gon na see. You know any of my other systems. You know they got any other products that they already you know, selling for the new year or whatever and they're gon na. Have it there to sell as well so we just don't have stuff they ought to buy. So it's like three months of growth going on under here, okay, but for christmas, when she get her christmas tattle next week, it's gon na be fresh braids. We got ta come into the new year. The cap now and i am using um new thread because i lost my black thread so we're just gon na go in with the new color thread. The blonde thread as i like to call it, and i'm just gon na slow down the back of the cap. But i will be using you know all my products y'all, even my new product alert that i did not post on either one of my pages you know it will be there is. I will show y'all that in this video today too, because we will be using it when it's time to use it for what it's for. So i said i can't do a video on bleach and bleaching and plucking yes, um. If you did not see the tutorial that i dropped last night because i did drop it like two in the morning like two three in the morning um once i finish with this live video make sure y'all do go ahead and you know tune in into that. So what i'm gon na do now is go in with the foundation, and i will be using um the kiss new york professionals foundation. I will be using the color cognac. Okay - and you know it's like dark girl and let me get my foundation and i'm just take that foundation like i said this is the kiss foundation cream. Okay, i always use cream, never powder, only cream and the la pro concealers i use never use powder, but i'm just taking that cream foundation and just apply it right on that cap and for today's look we will be doing like a creative part down the middle. Look um, i didn't want to just do a plain part down the middle or whatever, so i had came up with an idea like four o'clock this morning on what we could do and it just popped up into my head. So we're just gon na go with the flow, but it will be a bust down with a little you know extra into it. I love the 2 a.m. Video i was just telling my daughter. I want to bleach a wig, but when it all come out eating what color foundation do you use for lighter skin tone? Girls um, it all depends because it's different shades of light skin girls like it's different shades of dark skin girls. So, but usually for my like light bright like right by bright, i use um light ivory concealer and i use it from light ivory concealer to um. What'S the other one um, the ruby, kisses, um level nine palette because they got like two shades of light skin, but if they like that caramelish kind of light, i use level uh palette, number 10 or 11. It all depends, though, but you know different shades. Different strokes, different folks, but let me show you how to wig once again it is a highlight wig. This is a 26 inch highlight wig from style, short hair, and if you was tuned in on my live, when we did it on a friday with dreka - and it was a curly wig, that's the same company that sent me this wig style, short hair and after I'M done with this live video. I will go in and drop the details to this hair information, so y'all can purchase the wig from them, but this is their 26 inch wig. Okay, this is fresh out of the bag. All i did was just wet the hairline. So i could pluck it. I did not have to bleach no knots or anything like that. As far as the lace color is giving me like medium brown lace, it's not transparent and it's not hd. Of course it's giving me like medium brown lace and oh there. We go y'all can see it. It got like a really light 27 color towards the front, and everything like that um for those who just said they, like my hair. Thank you. I just dropped this for you from that last night, so y'all can watch it shane from the video last night. Did you tone the wig after you bleached it? No, this is just after me, bleaching it letting it dry. That'S it! I didn't do nothing else extra. I just bleached it shampooed it let it dry it's kind of the color yeah, it's kind of like the same. It came it's crazy because now that i'm looking at it, she just pointed it out. It'S like the same brown that this wig is, and i did that myself, but yes, so here's the way here and really quick, i'm gon na, show y'all how i kind of like prep, the hairline um before i put the wig on so um. Let me just put this right here: real, quick. Okay. Can i see it? Let me pull it up a little bit: hey girlie, hey babes! This is you check my legs, so i have to put foundation relationship with um tracy. I would say whether it's hd or transparent lace - i always put foundation. I just always do it it just it's nothing wrong with that extra security of lace, disappearing, lace, melted, but before i actually um start putting the wig on i'm gon na. Take my glam wear. Stick which will also be on the restock december 20th, and let me put my hot comb in the stove, i'm gon na apply my wax. Stick all over the hairline. Wait a minute. Y'All look like twins! Well, this is my little sister. She is so i'm just applying that wax stick right onto that hairline and i always like to do this. It'S just something about this. It made me feel like my wig is pre-laid before it's actually laid, so i like to apply the wax stick right onto that. Hairline and then i'm going to go in, i know the light kind of trip into me. You catch it, okay, well it's chipping right now, but because the color doesn't back it up, but i like to put um the wax stick right on that hairline and then i like to go in with the hot comb. Y'All see it's hot already like little scissors and i like to um hot comb, the like the wig like the roots of the wig backwards. Then that way, when you land the wig down and you applying the glue and everything you don't have to really worry about. No flyaways getting caught up in the glue or any extra strands of hair, so i just like to do that. So it's already kind of sleeked back already, so i'm gon na let this go in a little bit more because it's not giving me the heat that i need and for those of you who just uh tuned in um, to restock to all my products into my New products as well, including all my bonnets because don't forget - i got the bronies to y'all um. We can do a lot with 45 dollars. Times have changed, i could be. I used to go to the store with a dog with a dollar. I could get three chips in a juice you give me can't do that now can't do that these days. Those are the good two chips: 150, exactly two tips, one bag of chips. Nine is you true to this? Yes, okay, so here's the e i'm 26 about to be 27 in march. So here is the wig. I went ahead and um hot comb. The hairline using my glam wax and a hot comb. Now my brushes are still on. They should be off before my birthday in march, so this is the wig here and now we're going to go for three and put this. Oh, let me cut this back lace off, make sure you cut that a little bit less before i forget. Let me just go ahead and do it now girl i'm going to get in trouble right now, i'm in school and watching put your phone put the volume. All the way down or put up some headphones put them in the air part or something. So this is the wig like i mentioned it is a 26 inch and we're just gon na go ahead and put this on her head. Okay, are you a pisces yeah? Yes, i'm a pisces. We both are actually february pisces, i'm a march pisces. So this is this wig is so soft. How do you fix a wig that you purchased? That was already highlighted. It looks bold to me it's more of the number four color honestly when you have the custom custom, color wigs like wigs, that you bought from the vendor already colored. I don't really think that you could really do much to like change the color like if you try to. If i was to try to bleach this wig, i don't think that it will bleach. I don't know why i didn't create it, but that's just how it would be sometimes like it don't always. This color is going to be really cute on you. Showering she's been wanting this color for forever y'all, so she finally getting this highlighted wig. She wanted it for her senior pictures but you're, my god, you're like a little girl. I mean it kind of is but yeah at the same time, you're gon na be grown 18., so i'm gon na go ahead and okay as far as the lace against her skin. It'S not as dark as i thought it was gon na be so that's actually a good thing for me. But what i'm to do now is i'm just kind of you know she got like a small forehead, so you know with small foreheads. You cannot bring the lace too far down, but if y'all do see me pull it down here that don't mean the wig is going to actually sit here, because i'm going to go in and cut off most of that lace in the center we're doing a bust Down with a twist today, so it's going to be a little extra with it. Y'All don't see so um. This is how the wig is pretty much looking all around so two things i'm gon na do before i actually start to tug it down. First thing i'm gon na do is take these. I can't move too much yeah, i mean it's a spinning, chair um. Thank you! So much uh nikki, i'm gon na take the beautiful hustle skin protectant because you do want to um protect the skin. Okay and i'm just going to spray it like this, what do you say it's something about funny might tell me something you watch and i'm gon na take the blow dryer and just oh, what if it's a cap, i'm gon na just take the blow dryer on A heat set and just blow dry that real, quick okay that was lily, real, quick and now i'm going to also take. They have conversation, though, and now i'm going to take my cognac uh, you welcome phoenix arise. Thank you and i'm going to take that same foundation that i put onto her cap and put it on the inside of the lace these braids, so i only redid it for braids. We talked about something that's two times. How was things going with the shop? It'S going good, i just got my approval so now i'm just finishing up like the paperwork part and then i'll be able to do the grand opening and they have finished, like maybe i told y'all they was working on the bathroom. They finished my bathroom yesterday, um. So now i just got ta: wait: i'm waiting on the rest of the stuff to come. You know now. It'S gon na probably be a little delay because it's christmas season or whatever, but i'm waiting on the rest of the shop stuff to come, i'm so for delivery. So i can set it up, i'm so i'm looking forward to getting my hair done on thursday, um she's good enough to drive the distance. This will be my second time getting my hair done. I'M so excited! Really really good, you don't want to miss no spots, you don't want it to be like blotchy or nothing like that, and my focus is really on the hairline part, because anything that you're going to part as far as the styling, you can conceal that it's just Spinning and spinning this will kind of look good on your shower child. I don't know it's gon na look too cute too cute, so um. We got that now, the last step before you actually slide. The lace is to apply the lace, milk adhesive, okay. So this look at me december 20th. You want to make sure that you are definitely look touch inside real quick. Oh, i can spin you, i bring that glue right up around the ear as well. Some people just stop right here at the front, but i bring you right around the corner too, because the wig has to be tucked down in those areas maryland. These are maryland. Mary mary, so i'm gon na, take my little brush right here. When i made a review of your lace glue, it's the way. I can tag you, so you can see it on youtube um. I i'm not sure i don't. I think you could be able to um tag, but so now i'm gon na take the spreader and i'm just going to spread it down now her hairline is already low, so i'm not going to take the glue way down here. That'S just totally unnecessary, so you want to have i'm going to put half of the glue onto her cap and just a little bit past the hairline. I mean i could kind of look like i told y'all, i don't mind traveling to any city any state. It'S just all on what joe biden gon na do when he get in this office, because, if he's gon na put the word back on, lockdown traveling might be at a hole at a standstill like it might not be happening. So i don't know just only thing. We could do is pray off because 2021 is really the year, i'm ready to start traveling and stuff, and i don't want all that to go to waste. But at the end of the day, is god plans, not ours, so just got to go with the flow. So, just spreading that glue out the first layer is kind of like the guideline. That'S where everything is going to lay it. You know. If you got a little bit of your cap lifting at the front end, you can go ahead and attach it waterproof. Please can i swim with yes, yes, i will actually be having a waterproof contest in february, so to everybody who purchased my gloom. I'M gon na be doing like a little competition grand prize it's gon na, be a thousand for both of my competitions that i'm gon na be having with my products. The grand prize is gon na, be a thousand, so um we're gon na be doing a waterproof one that you have to you know you got ta purchase the glue and you got ta use at least three to five for your waterproof videos, depending on what you're Doing if you find a swim, i would say use like five layers um, but you will be um what i say you will be. You will have to make like the best video like be creative, make your own. It'S like. Basically, you make your own commercial for the glue and the best one of course would be. You know the grand prize winner, like it's gon na, be fun like. I want to see how creative people get so y'all see that turn clear. I like that, like that, so we're gon na go ahead and go in with the second layer. Is you ever going to have babies, or am i ever going to have babies or i do? I actually have one son now he's four. He upstairs sleep, and you know i just want to have another one now, like i mean that kind of like in that move to have another one, because i said by the time my um car turns five. I would be ready to drop another one. He gon na be five next year. Oh was you when you started going, i was i started doing hair in general when i was in the seventh grade, so that was like. Okay, let me spread it around again, the the flatter you spread it, the faster it dries, and it's just going to give you the best hole possible. You don't want no clumps and lumps in your um glue application and that's why you purchase the spreader when you purchase the glue as well. That'S really good, though i like, when people start off at a very young age, doing hair, because that means by the time you get up in age, you just going to be unstoppable and you're going to be a beast. Yes, hey y'all! Oh, what's up matt, i started braiding in sixth grade, i'm so glad you just joined on here, because you know i didn't uh another tattoo. You know i'm ready to add. I just uh tell my boyfriend, i'm ready to add on to my um my pisces thing. It'S time for you to give me something: that's gon na start bringing it down. You know trying to get that sleeve started. They say is doing your only job um. I do hair any well. I do hair, but my hair has created me so many different streams of income income, so i do hair and then i go to youtube. That'S another form of income and now their tick tock pays me. So i could do whatever i want to do. On ted, talk funny stuff, hair stuff, promote my business, no matter what loans i give views, i'm gon na get paid for that um. I also do the promos it's people who pay me to promote like their wigs and stuff. So that's another stream of income. You know: income plus people sending me clothes and stuff all that kind of stuff. So doing hair has opened so many other doors, and i know with youtube it's a lot of opportunities that you can get. You know a lot of opportunities and doors that open up, because people want to use your brand your face. They want to use. You know your fan base to build their brand, so they're going to pay you as well. So one job created many other strains of income for me. But you know when i was around baby clothes. I didn't even exist. That'S what i'm that exactly! That'S really for real, like none of that did not exist. It was just straight leave outs, okay, it was leave outs and breathe braise and leave out sweet twists. Plex. You know what is your technique? You will actually have to you can get paid from sponsorships, because people would still probably want you to promote, but you know as far as tick tock paying you like the actual app you will have to be at least 18 years old. I don't feel like i put enough over here, so we're just gon na add a little bit more and that glue turned very clear, y'all, see it this ain't, no editing, no, nothing! It'S just live video, so y'all can see how quickly it dries. I don't have to apply my blow dryer to it, to get it to dry. Nothing like that. I see a lot of people complain about um, glues that they have to blow dry it for it. To turn clear - and somebody also asked me - is all um white glues the same and as you can see, they're not the same so she said something about home enclosures. Is that the little thing we are using? Yes, we used to do the remember. I see the fusion parts i used to take the i used to cut the hair off the track and put lay the glue, and then i used to put it in the part and i'll clean it up with the chinese bang and well you take the you. Take the hair, you cut the track, you put the glue on and then you roll it up until it becomes like a little ball and then you flip it inside out and you take the flat iron and you press it. I might do a series like this go back the throwback ways, the throwback ways to do like leave outs and all that i'm gon na have to just show you all that one time that's gon na be a funny one. It'S all set, it's ready to go and we're going to start laying the glue down, we'll lay the lace down and i always start from the center. First, i pull the wig down the center and then i'll do each side and then i have them, hold it and then i'll blow dry it on the heat setting. Okay, you lose illusion. Yes, that was my thing. That was my specialty everybody's economy from fusion pods. So i always start from the center. Like i mentioned, i pull it down into place. Let me show them what kind of glue do you use? I use my own lace glue, y'all, my own brand, which will be uh restocking december 20th on my website. So make sure you subscribe, so you get all the information so now put in the center first now, once i get it in the center, i turn them to the side. I pull the side down. I press it in with my finger and hold them so they do. You know the lace can catch that glue. Have them hold it. That'S one side now we're gon na go ahead and turn it to the other side. Put you right down. I can see good angle: okay, pull that down right into that glue, give it a nice little firm press. I like to press it in my fingertips right on the edges, bring it down some more firm press, rub it all in there and you have them hold it. Should you knock this place? I love um like browns and blondes on brown skin because it just makes our skin look so bright. Look how good you look right there that just brought your whole face out even some more so now. Add a little pressure comb that right on me help it really uh melt, put your hand down just a little bit yeah comb that right on there call me even up like around the ear, because all that lace has to get tacked down and remember if it Don'T get tacked down right away? That'S fine! Because you still got ta. You know, go back and glue the pieces, that's not glued down! You still have. We still have to tie her down with the melt belt and all of that and speaking of melt belts, y'all youtube family who really been who really been tuned in from day one y'all know, i see everybody making melt belts. Everybody'S hairline is different, so even if you're making a week for somebody do not cut the lace off, let them you know, do it them themselves or, if they're, taking somebody else to get installed, let their stylists do it shay. Can you give any advice for upcoming hairstylist in the new area um promote yourself and whatever area you in make sure that you are hashtagging um, that city that state? You know, because people do find a lot of people in hashtags, so make sure you always hashtag that city and state that you're trying to build your clientele in and don't only do your city do cities around that city as well like, for example, we have miami. You know florida is the whole state, but you have miami stylist, but someone getting established. They also tag broward hairstylist. They also tag brow with nail tech, miami nail tech like you, don't only have to hashtag in your, like necessarily your field of work. You could hashtag nail tech even if you're a hairstylist, i still put hashtag my nails cause. You might be looking for nails, but he'd be like wait. A minute hold on. So i'm just going to cut that extra lace from around the ear, because you want to make sure the wig sits comfortably around the ear. That way, you don't have to worry about it, lifting because people always say these sideburns always come off first and this you know it always lifts first hold your hair down right here, because i need to cut this some of this band and cut whatever extra that Needs to go like even sometimes the little band that comes with the wig you'll be in a way, but i just clip that little piece right off. You can let it go now so that we're gon na sit comfortable, she's, not gon na be irritated, or nothing like that.
