Hi everyone welcome back to my channel in today's video. I am going to show you how to speed, cut and slay your unit, I'm working with a bob that I cut myself and the hair is from premium lace, wigs. They made the wig themselves and I'm just you know putting it together, because we just don't have time for all of that and in this organza bag is everything that you need just about almost and I'll open it up. So I can show you everything, starting with the ad template, and it has all the information about the unit's how to take care of them all this essential stuff that we already know, but it's always nice to be reminded of, and this little care package right here Has a few essentials as well: I'm gon na open it up, so we have bobby pins, can't get enough of those, as well as an elastic band, which I definitely need and two hair clips, which of course, will help with sectioning and parting your hair. Also. I do have a comb and a wig cap in my complexion, so I am always thankful when that happens, because I don't buy them. So I like it when a company sends them with the units. That'S always really helpful, and this is the unit itself, and this is the tag with all the information about the hair on it. So I don't have to remember the information, because it's right here for you guys to see, isn't that awesome, but I always have all the information down in the description box. This is a sponsored video and I have all the information about my sponsorships in there as well, so we're starting by cutting the lace I like to cut and going in and then start cutting around the perimeter. It'S just easier that way for me like every once in a while, make an incision going into the lace and then cut around the perimeter so that I don't accidentally cut the wrong thing, especially not the baby hairs they come in handy after a while. I don't like baby hairs, but it's nice to have that change in length. It does help, even if you don't want to lay your baby hairs seriously does so. That is the lace. We'Re done with that, and I'm just going to show you guys. The inside of the cap, I have combs all around three combs, you guys know I never use combs and one in the back. The middle is just wefted hair and then the perimeter is a lace closure and of course I do have two adjustable straps in the back. So this is a very standard. Wig cap construction. There is nothing spectacular about it, but it does fit nicely. That'S one thing: I've noticed with premium lace, wigs on my head, I can't say the same for everybody else's head, because that wouldn't be fair. For me sakes, it's nicely as if this is an across-the-board type thing. It just works well for me. I will go ahead and sew my elastic band down on both sides, I'm currently working on a new way to style my unit, so I'm experimenting with all options, angles and everything, because I'm extremely lazy I can't do got to be glued. I can't do regular glue. I can't do tape and I try to use as little product as possible, so this is what we're looking like and it looks really good just putting it on no problems at all. I do love this texture and I wanted to do a wet look, but I decided to straighten it and that's terrible, but I will try to do something like a wet look in the future. So I'm starting by brushing my hair out and just parting it to the side so that I know what my final look will be like and I'm already loving the hair. Just like this, because I'm lazy, I would literally just wear my wig like this and go. That is terrible. Don'T do that, but I am going to go ahead and start straightening, my hair, starting with the parting area - and this is a flatiron by real kiss I'll, have the information in the description box, but it has an edge straightener on one side. So definitely don't touch the other side, because you'll burn yourself, I'm using the comb chase method to bring that flat iron down and have this nice sleek look. Definitely it definitely makes a big difference when you use this method, especially on a weave, that's wavy or curly. You will notice, because sometimes weaves are resistant to change when it comes to straightening and curling, and then you have this really weird look, so I always use a comb chase method, and now everything is sleek straight and ready to cut. This is literally all I do cut at an angle. How many degrees is that about 45 degrees, so cut at a 45 degree angle or so and just go. The bottom should be in the front. The top should be in the back, because the back will be longer because you pulled it forward. So if you're doing it, the other way cut going down. If you're coming from the back going forward, you're going from the front going back cut going up. This is literally real time, so it took me about 40 seconds to cut my hair 40 seconds. That'S all and then, of course, I had to do like the minor changes and you really have to cut with confidence. That'S one thing: I've learned about hair eyebrows, eyeliner winged liners cut with confidence and you'll be good, but what I'm applying here is my cream of nature control glue and it's not a glue, but you know it's like one of those holding type products and it works Beautifully for my hair, because once you apply it, it adheres nicely, but when you want to take it out, all you have to do is put some water and it starts breaking apart. So it's not gon na damage, your hair and I'm just putting the closure onto my Bern's. So it can sit nicely. I always pull a little bit of hair down. Then I go in with that blow dryer and blow dry, my hair on a higher heat setting, not the highest setting but low heat rather, and do that for maybe 30 to 45 seconds then follow up with a cool shot. So I can set it all in there. It'S gon na be low heat and then a clean shot, low heat, then a cool shot, and sometimes I repeat the process - maybe do 30 seconds 15 seconds 30 seconds 15 seconds. But that's how I make it dry and then I'll trim that little piece of hair at the sideburn now what I'm going to do is just go in with some powder. This powder is by Black Radiance. I did not like it on my face. It left me looking kind of orangish, but it works nicely on my part area and all of that that you see in the front there's no glue there. I literally only put on the sideburns now because I'm lazy and it's just like not worth it when you take out this product, it's like so much gunk in your hair and that's what people don't tell you like. You have all this excess product in your hair and who really wants to deal with that. Not me, I started. Do a quick little touch-up, I get shiny you guys. I seriously do shine brighter than all of our futures combined and I'm going to go ahead with my curling iron. Oh yeah, I almost burnt my thigh, I'm always dropping heat styling tools on my face on my legs somewhere, but I'm gon na go ahead and start curling in the front only because I just want a little bit of a bump and there is nothing holding my Hair down right there on my forehead, I don't even know how it's happening, but just the way I applied the wig and just putting some products on my sideburns. That'S all I needed, so that is all through this look. You guys it's a very simple effortless bob with a side part and takes like 40 seconds to cut and the maximum time that you're gon na spend on this hair is going to be on straightening it and that's about it. Everything else is gon na. Take no time at all, but here I am just playing with it, trying to get used to it every time I change my style. It takes some getting used to so I brush a lot and I play a lot and I wore this unit in Atlanta. I have pictures on Instagram, well a picture and a story and I'm still wearing it. It'S gon na be my everyday unit, so you'll probably see it over and over and over and over again. So thank you so much for watching.
