Hey youtube: this is desiree aka, madame of fourier, and i'm here with a new video today is going to be a tutorial on how to do a side, messy bun with a lace front. Wig. Now my last video i talked about how i was going to do this look for my sister's wedding and it came out great and so i'm here to show you that tutorial on how i got it done. So, let's get started now. I'Ve got my hair already sectioned out um kind of like if i was going to use a half wig, because i'm going to set the wig back a little bit, because my wig that i'm using doesn't have that much um parting space in the front. If you have a wig that has more parting space, then you won't have to do this. This wig that i'm using i did a review on her in my last video. She only has about that much so you see where this, where this starts right here. That'S where the track is going to be so in the center. It'S not really that much, maybe about an inch a little bit more than an inch in the center center of it um. So that's what we that's! What i've got working with me, but if you have something that has like two or three inches, then you won't probably won't need to do this step now, i'm going to be doing a side part with a um side swoop, bang. So that's why i've got my hair like this, i'm just gon na for the winning i braided my hair back, but this time just for time's sake, i'm just gon na swoop. This up, pin it just to hold sitting in place if it will hold. For me, you need to use a couple pins. I'Ve got it kind of flat, it's pinned it back, and then i've got my whip. Wig cap with lib wig cap, i'm going to put that on i've, got it coming right right at the base of where my, where i've parted my hair, like that i've got some part there, and you see how i just parted out a section, because i was Gon na, like really do a bang, so i can get that action and this side is just so. I could blend it when i pull it back now. I don't have with me today any um edge control the day of the wedding um, my sister's husband's sister sister-in-law. For me, whatever you want to call her morgan, she had this wig um edge control and it was by silk elements. It was a clear container with a brown top. It worked wonders now. I haven't relaxed my hair, i'm stretching my relaxer. I haven't relaxed it in a while, so i've got those fuzzies and so um. She gave me some of that and that definitely helped with the edging what i, what i did today was just um, because my hair is air dried from last night, i just um, took the flat iron and tried to make it a little bit straighter. I don't know how good maybe i need to turn it back on because i turned it off so we'll get back to that. But anyway, so here's the wig, her name is felina. She is by the isis collection and she is a part of their red carpet. Premiere line, she is a pretty curly wig, a big curl wave pattern really long. I think that the longer it is it's probably easier to work with, just because it gives you a little bit more hair to do um to work with, and it also helps to make your bun a little bit bigger. So the more hair longer the hair is the more bigger your bun can be, and it's good to use a wig. That already has a curl pattern. You don't have to use this exact wig, but any wig. That kind of has that curly pattern to it so that you don't have to go back with a curling iron is great. This is a futura, so i can put heat to her um, but i'm not going to because there isn't really any need for me to do that with this wig. So i'm going to put her on right now hold my hair out of the way all right. So here we go, we've got her on i'm going to put in the combs on this side and put the combs in on this side and i'm putting the comb in underneath the wig cap and i'm gon na pull the wig cap down some so that you Can it can look like i have a part? Let'S see, can you i don't know if you can see that, but here is my part here and then the wig? Oh, that's not too bad. The wig starts right here. Let me get pretty close. So that's my part, that's my hairline, and this is the lace so not too bad. So then, i'm gon na brush the part that i had pulled out. Let me flat iron it just a little bit more okay. Now i brush that back and i'm brushing again my hair, i'm making sure that my hair kind of blends in with it. So i have like a natural natural hairline. Now you don't have to do this step. I'M just doing this because um the lace on this one i i think it could do a better job, but even if you wanted to you could just fold the hair over like this. So like you would tuck your hair under and bring it over like that. You don't have that, but i kind of wanted to show some edges, so i brought it like that. So then you'll just swoop this over to the side. My bang is going to be on this side. The same my i'm deciding to put my bang on the same side as the bun, so i'm just going to brush it over now. This hair is kind of funny at the top, like you kind of see the edges, so i've got to make sure i've got the top looking as smooth as possible and again just brush that bring it over. If you had some, if i had some edge control or if you want to use gel, you just slick that down select that baby down, and you got that now. I pulled her to the side and all of this is smooth and i've got my bang that i've left out. Let me just make this a little bit better flatten that out some another section that out some one more section here and flatten that out. Okay and let's look a little bit more right here, flatten that out some okay, so it looks a little bit nice and sleeker okay and that's my hair right there. I had put some oil in my hair before i did this. So that's why it's a bit shiny and then i'm just gon na take the left over from this hair from the front and section it just a little bit out. I'Ve got that much hanging out. Okay. So that's going to be my bang. So now you've got this hair right here and you've got your bang just make sure that it blends okay. So now next step is take your hair tie and what you're going to do is you've got all your hair to the side hold over and do it kind of low. So you don't have to worry about your nape, showing i've got that and i'm gon na loosely make sure. That'S all nice and smooth - and i kind of want to give it some. You know volume, so i'm not gon na. Do it too tight. So now you got your ponytail you're gon na take the hair tie. Do it a couple of times and then you're gon na loop, it okay! So you see it's looped. I'Ve got it looped and i've got the curl the majority of the crop. The bottom is hanging out so once you've gotten that you can twist it around and that's the base of that's going to be the base of your bun. So you've got your loop and then we're going to start pinning. Now i've got these. Can you see it? That'S what i've got these open ones and i think i have a couple closed ones. Also. Okay, maybe i don't have with me, but you can use some clothes ones, also to get a tighter hold so, like i said, you've got this loop, i twisted it over. So that i have most of the curl facing front and i'm going to hold it up like that. The loop and start pinning into the hair into the wig and i'm using big ones because they can go further into the hair and what you might want to do is like crisscross them. So if you want put one in then like crisscross, it the other way to hold it. Okay, so we've got that as your base, i'm going to pull up sorry, some of them fell on the floor. I got a couple. Little ones see them right there. A couple little ones and i'm gon na crisscross them so you've got that yeah that held that really good, and then you still have this right now. This is kind of cute. I don't know about you, but i think it's kind of cute just hanging like that. You'Ve got your loop, your bun, that could be another style: hey, okay, so now you've got these curls and what you're going to do is just separate them separate a couple and just pin it around that bun. So now you take your short ones and you just pin it in see and pin it in and take another one, and you got the curl and you pin like the key to this. It'S really easy once you make that loop and got your bun held up. You'Ve got the base of the bun by that loop. You just take the curls and you just place them wherever you want. However, messy you want to make it, you can make it depending on where you put the curls. It'S like i'm, going to take another curl and pull it back here, so i can hide the band of the loop and just pin it in and you're just pinning right in through the wig into the hair, and i've got a couple more right here. I'M just going to pin it on the actual bun and right now, like i said, i'm using these short ones, and if you want to leave a little bit curled underneath you see that you can, if not, let's go ahead and pin another one and just pin Another one and it feels pretty secure these little ones are getting it they are holding in there, and so that's what you've got so that's, basically the gist of it and then you've got your front part. This is this part again, like i said, is my hair. That i left out - and i'm just gon na swoop, that over i could bring it down a little bit more along with the wig. I bring that a little bit down, bring that across like that, and then i could take a pin and secure it like underneath one of those pearls and grab another pin bobby, pin right there, uh come on get in there there and there you have it. So i got my little swoop bun, it's not that dramatic of a spook, but you get the point you can make. It has deep, as you want to make it, you can pull more hair more of your hair out to make it deeper or you can just leave the wig as it is, but you got the gist of it, and i think this is cute. I'Ve got a little straggly right here, trying to hang out. Can you see how can you see her cute um or you could just pin, pin that into whatever you want to do so this you can make this as neat or as messy as you want where'd. It go, oh as messy as you want it's a real, simple, easy hairstyle to do, and i'm glad that i challenged myself to do it because first i was like well i'm just going to do. I'M just going to do a um, a side ponytail, because that was our options. The side ponytail are a side messy bun and i want to challenge myself. So this is it. I hope you can see it. This is the front. This is my little part right. There and nobody should be getting all up in your too so close to see. All that i mean it's not going to show in your pictures and everything like that. Here'S the side, here's the back, hope you can see that and if you want, if it's too low for you, if it's too low for you, you can just take a couple bobby pins and pull it up. I just crisscross. I just put two minutes crisscross it to hold it in place. I hope you saw that so that's it. So that is the side messy bun with um a lace front wig. I hope you enjoyed it. I hope you learned something from it. Um, when you play with it you'll, come up with your own techniques that will work for you. This is what worked with me with this wig that i have didn't, have much lace um in the front to work with for parting room. So i made it work if you have 10 and if your lace wig has more parting space in the front, you can just shift the wig because you're just going to put it up to the side anyway, somebody's going to notice, so you can shift it to Give you some more parting space if you really want to show that parting, but that's basically it i'm going to post some pictures at the end of me and the hair of the day of the wedding with all dolls up and everything it came out really good. It looked really pretty. I got a lot of compliments on it and i'm glad that i did this. I hope you like it. It makes me want to go out now, like i don't have the world where to go, but i hope you like, i hope you enjoyed it um yeah. So that's it rate comment subscribe. If you have, if you um, try it out, do a video response and show me how you did yours if you have a different way of doing it. This is the way that i came up with. I felt that it was really easy again summary make your part swoop it around to the side. Do it ponytail kind of loosen it up so that you've got some volume here, make a loop out of it and then take the rest of the curls that you have left over and just pin it wherever you want it to pin all alright. So that's it i'll see you in my next video thanks for watching bye. You
