What'S up y'all, it's tiffany lee and i'm back again with another video welcome to vlogmas day 10.. Today we are going to be customizing this unit that i got from aliexpress. The specific store is actually called gossip hair, so i just figured i'd, make a video showing how i bleach the knots and pluck the hair and wash the hair and how i style it and everything. So here i'm just trying to position the wig on the wig head. I actually didn't have any t-pins or any pins at all, so it was a little difficult, but you know once i got situated all worked out, so i'm also pulling out some strands of hair that are popping up just to make sure that they don't get bleached And, as you can see, i have my bleach powder, my 30 developer and my brush and a cup that i'll mix everything in you can use any kind of bleach. I know there's another kind, like a blue kind. I forget what it's called, but i know this one's pretty popular bw2. You can just get it at sally's or your beauty supply store. So i'm just going to begin pouring that in the cup and then i'll eventually add the 30 developer as well. When it comes to the developer, i like to add it in little by little, just because you don't want the consistency to be too runny, you want it to be like a thick kind of cement, or i know a lot of people actually compared to toothpaste. So just a thick paste, so it doesn't seep through the lace and get on the hair and end up bleaching. Your hair do right so so this step is actually pretty easy, as you can tell i'm just evenly applying the mixture i just made all over the lace. I know some people have their different methods of doing this. Some people like to start in the back some people like to start in the front some people might want to start on the sides or the middle. It just depends to me. I don't really think it matters. It ended up turning out fine, so i just kind of do. However, i want to so i'm not a professional though so, if there's a better way to do it then definitely go do that, but this is just the way i do it. So it's pretty simple. So my mixture is all applied over the lace, but i completely forgot to show you guys what the knots look like before i started bleaching. So this is me just trying to lift up the lace with the bleach on just so. You can get a better look of how the bleach look beforehand and then you'll be able to compare it to how they look after it's done. Processing this boys so actually false alarm from before. This is actually what it looks like when everything is all applied and i'm going to leave this on for 20 minutes, but after the 20 minutes it wasn't completely done yet. So i left it on for another five minutes and then i think i did it for another five and then, after that it was good. So it was a total of a half an hour, and this is what the finished product looked like before. I ended up washing it off so now. This is the time where i'm washing the bleach off after the 30 minutes was up um and then afterwards, you're going to see me go in with a purple shampoo, just to tone down any brassiness and just make it look like a more natural scalp color. I guess you could say boy boys. Once i finished with the purple shampoo, i went ahead with a regular shampoo. You can use pretty much any shampoo on whatever wig you get, but i hadn't washed the wig prior to bleaching and everything. So i figured i'd just go ahead and do that then after i bleach. So this is me just washing the hair, pretty simple, and then i'm also going to go in with some aussie conditioner later on, once the shampoo and conditioner all rinsed out, i like to just brush through the hair, actually while it's damp. So this is the time that i like to begin plucking process. So, as you can see, i'm just getting away any flyaways making sure the hair is straight back nice and damp and i'm gon na begin. Plucking. There'S not really a specific method that i like to use when plucking like. I know some people like to pull pieces down in the front, but i don't do that here like i just want to make sure that the hairline isn't as dense and it actually looked like it was pre-plucked a little bit, but i still thought it was too Thick so this is me just going in and touching up, but i didn't really need to do too much boys. So at this point i felt pretty satisfied with the front and how that looked after plucking - and this was just how much i lost from that. So shutting from plucking is normal, so that wasn't really a big deal, but now i'm going to begin working on the sides, so there's not really much explaining. I need to do with that. So i'll. Just let you guys watch that and i will be quiet once i was satisfied with the entire plucking process. I went ahead and blow-dried the hair off camera, and now you can just see me going in with a hot comb and in case any of you were wondering. Yes, this is the hot comb that harriet tubman used. So, as you can tell i topcombed the edges and now i'm just doing a little bit of the top, but it became really hard because, like i said, i didn't have a stand or any t-pin. So i pretty much just stopped there and decided that i'd style. The rest, while it was on my head so now, i'm just spraying some got to be blasting, freeze, spray and retouching up anything and that's pretty much it. So i really hope you guys enjoyed this video. This was my first time customizing a wig on camera, so it would be appreciated if you guys, let me know how i did because this was a big step for your girl, but i did it. You know this is how the ending result turned out so yeah like i said. I hope you guys enjoyed this video. If you did, please make sure you like comment subscribe, make sure you stay blessed and hopefully i'll see you in my next video bye, guys you
