Perfect Hairline, Durable Crystal Lace | Realistic Scalp | Ready To Wear Ft. Geniuswigs

I have another crystal lace unit to show you guys this one is coming from the company genius wigs, and this is what their packaging looks like. Hopefully it picks up on camera just because the box is white, but that is what it is looking like. I opened this yet so we will be unboxing it together. So in the box you do get your wig in this bag. They also include this elastic band that you can sew on your wig. If that's something that you want to do, they also include a wig cap, a brush and then also a clip. They only send one clip, i'm always curious about that. Do y'all use one clip or do you all use two, because i know i used to but yeah that's what's in the box also included these two strips of lace, to show you the difference between transparent lace and also crystal lace. Just in case, you guys are curious um. This is what the transparent lace looks like on me. It'S a little bit lighter. Yes, i can blend it in, but i will probably have to go in with some type of tent our bronzing powder and then this is the crystal lace and, as you guys can see, that is going to blend into my skin a bit better. I'M going to hold them up. If i can pick it up, i'm going to hold them up side by side. It'S always weird trying to hold them up together, but that is the crystal lace. And then this is the transparent lace. You can see that the crystal lace has a bit of a tint to it and then the transparent lace has, i can't get it right. The transparent lace is a little bit lighter, actually excited to share this particular wig, because i have done a lot of the wet and wavy styles and also the kinky straight ones, but this is my first time doing a crystal lace, that is a body wave texture. I was very curious about this, so this is what the unit is. Looking like straight out of the package, that is what the waves are giving. It does come with two combs on the side. It also comes with a comb in the back, your adjustable straps, and they also have the removable adjustable elastic band. So you have a lot of parting space to work with on this unit. Now, with this hairline, it is considered the brown hair line, so you're not going to have to do any extra plucking. Unless you want to that's up to you, but straight out of the package you shouldn't have to do any plucking. Also, the knots are going to be less obvious. The lace is supposed to be more durable, go ahead and tighten up my straps and try this on for you guys. So you can see what this hairline is giving okay. So there were a bunch of hairs that were getting caught up under the lace, but this is what it is. Looking like, y'all look at this hairline. You cannot go wrong with that. I'M not going to go in and do anything extra because i don't feel like it needs it, but that is a hairline. I am going to have to push my cap back a little bit just because you can see it right here and i don't want it showing, and that is what the parting space is looking like. Of course, you do get more parting space in this you're not going to have to just be stuck with the middle. If you wanted to practice on the side, you definitely could. Oh look at that party's fake job. Look at that party's face the one thing that i love about this crystal lace, and because i have worked with it plenty of times is that the density in the frontal area is not thick at all, so you're not going to have to worry about. If this is going to lay very flat, i mean because you can see right now - it's already laying really flat to my head - i'm not going to go in and wash this unit today, i'm going to style this straight out of the package, but you guys know. I usually do like to go in and wash my units with body wave textures. The waves are going to eventually fall, as you can see with me just kind of running my fingers through it. The waves are still kind of there, but they are not as defined as it was straight out of the package. Just for me doing that, so i can already tell that once you wash it it's just going to have like a slight way. I'M going to go ahead and start running my mouth and get to working on this unit, and then i will be back so you guys can see the final look all right. So i am done styling this wig and i really took my time with this, so it took me a while to get it all done, but i am happy with the outcomes on this came out really pretty. I was thinking they would drop pretty quick, but i feel like this hair is definitely going to hold a curl. I didn't use any type of holding spray. The only thing i put in this hair was my serum speaking of serum. I highly suggest adding some serum in because i did notice a good amount of frizziness the ends of this hair. Surprisingly, don't look too bad and i'm pretty sure after you wash and condition it that will help to kind of tame it all down. If you want a tighter curl, you can always go in with a smaller barrel, and the curls will definitely last a little longer. This is my olive oil fixing hole spray to lay this lace down and i feel like it did a pretty good job. I did notice the lace started to look a bit dark up in here, and i know that the lace is a little bit on the tinted side. So sometimes that can happen. What i did was go in with a lighter powder i use and make sure i get it right. The light warm brown. This is tinted, lace, wig powder. They sell this on amazon, but i know the last time i put a link. They didn't have any more. So i'm going to see if i can find this again, but i like how this works. I put this in the parting space also because my cap actually starts right here, but you can't see it that much anymore since i added the powder everything blended all in and then i went into like the hairline area, all up in the hair and then i Just used the bronzer brush, whatever bronzer i had left on it. I just went around the hairline because i didn't want to put any powder like too close, because i didn't want it to come off. Looking out also, did me a little baby hairs not too much. Not too much what i did was curl them, and then i used my mousse just to make them look super soft and natural, and then i combed them out after i had my elastic band on the hairline, so i feel like it looks really good. I could have went in with a little bit of powder more on this side, but for the most part, i'm not mad at it. It'S really just about getting this to kind of lighten up a little bit, but i don't think it looks. I don't think it looks too bad. The parting space area looks good. I didn't even utilize all the parting space and it goes pretty much all the way close back here. So if you wanted to use all that parting space, you could, i feel, like it, looks pretty natural, especially because it's not like a tight part of space. I didn't have to go in and pluck anything out so yeah. I think it looks good. The one con that i do have with this unit is the lace size. Sometimes the lace fits good, and sometimes it doesn't i'm not sure what that's about. But i ain't feeling when that happens, because the last unit that i did for the company, the lace would be really good. I didn't have to go in and hold one side down to do the other side and it was really large up in this area. So what i did was pull it on this side of the spray and then i work my way around um, i'm not sure what that's about, like, i said, run across any buckling, because that can happen when the lace is too large. But that was really my only issue when it came to this. You know that this unit is really pretty. I am feeling the waves. I did get a little amount of shedding with this unit and i'm not really running into any tangles right now, but i can foresee some happening in the night area, not too much worried about tangling in the ends, but in the nape area. Yes other than that. I think this is a nice unit for you to not have to go in and do too much. You can definitely style this straight out of the package.
