Hi guys, it's me Michi, owner of Barbara's, mother, Franko, posh collection and headlines by DeFranco. Today, I'm going to be demonstrating how to make a wig unit using a 360 degree frontal. Now the 360 degree frontal is something that's new. It'S like the new ways right now. So we're really going to learn this together. This is going to be my first time doing one and what better way to demonstrate it, then, with you guys so we're gon na get started. We'Re both gon na learn something new today and I honestly believe it's gon na work out really great and I think you guys are gon na love it okay. So this is your 360 degrees frontal. Of course, this is from Posche collection. This is our Brazilian ocean wave, and this is like an 18 inch and you can see why they call it a 360 degree front because it has the lace going all around so we're going to make a wig using this frontal, so you're going to need the Front so of course, then I'm going to use um since you have so much hair on the frontal I'm gon na try to use about two, maybe three bundles of hair just depend on how close I put them together, I'll double up some of the straps, but If I get closer to the top just to eliminate any bulkiness, I'm gon na do single webs. Only so you're gon na need your hair, bundles you're also going to need your thread and your needle a dome cap. I like to use a dome cap and just a pair of shears. That'S all we're gon na need today, so I'm going to actually show you how to apply the dome cap under the frontal just so we can make it the foundation for the wig unit. So today my model is this candid here, so this is a 22 inch canvas and what I'm gon na show you guys right now, it's just how we're going to apply the dome cap onto the campus. Now, since we're creating a wig foundation, you just going to pull it all the way down tight as you can and then once you put that on you're going to go on top of it with your frontal, see with the back of it, we're putting that in The back make sure all your life is hanging out, don't want it to be folded, underneath we're just going to pin this hair up out of the way while we pin the frontal down to the candidate to make it nice and secure. So it's not moving around while we'll get you not here on feel free to use as many pins as you like, just to make it secure, remember to pull down on the frontal wanted to be nice and flat. Okay! So now that we have our frontal securely pent down we're going to open up the hair, you could pin it out of your way if you like so now, what we're going to do to create this wig foundation is we're going to actually kind of fold the Lace and actually stitch it to the dome cap. Okay, so now that I've done my spot stitching, what I'm going to do is just get another needle a longer one and we're just going to go around the entire lace to connect the lace to the actual dawn cap. Again, just doesn't have to be me just the cure. Okay, so some of you are probably wondering like why not just buy a for last week. Well, one of the things with this that I love with the 360 degree frontal is that this allows you to actually customize the unit. The way you want it with the length, the density, which is the fullness, that you would love and you can just put as many tracks in as you can actually fit, where, if you're purchasing a lace unit, it's going to come with a certain density, and it May not still be full enough for you and again with the full lace unit. You know sometimes you'll get a lot of shedding because the hair is just in this, you know small hole, so any tugging or any excessive, curling or combing or anything is going to make these hit. The hairs come up out of the little hole where, if you're putting the track on your unit, the hair is going to stay on the web much longer than it will in the little hair hole. Okay, so we're all set. We have stitched the dome cap to our 360 degree lace front, so we stitched it to the actual excessive lace. So now, what we're going to do is actually take the unit off of the canvas. Once you get your unit off the canvas, what we're going to do is turn it inside out and we're going to cut the excess dome cap off. We don't need any of this because again, this is a full nice unit, so we don't need any of this. Just be careful not to cut your stitching, so there you have it. We have created a wig foundation. Okay - and this has the last history to us. Another help it kind of pull down on your head really good. So, let's put it back on the canvas. If we are not done be sure that when you're on a custom unit with a 360 degree consult that you have measured three measures, your client, whoever the unit is for or yourself, this canvas is my actual head size. So that's why this works. For me, you don't want to make it too big or too small, so please be sure to pre measure the head before you do this on a canvas again, you guys. This is my first time doing this. I just thought about it one day and I thought it would be a great idea so we're doing this together, but I really love the way he's turning out. So this completes the foundation part for our 360 degree, lace frontal. So what we're going to do next is actually get started with tracking the hair in okay. So the next step to our customized 360 degree, lace, frontal is actually installing our here. So what I have right now is an 18 inch of posh collection Brazilian ocean way, and you want to actually go in and just do like a semi horseshoe throughout the head. You don't want to go into a full circle. If you do a full circle, then you'll only be able to pretty much pull the hair back. Otherwise it won't lay flat enough. So we're going to do a semi horseshoe throughout the entire head. So let's get started okay, so we are all done installing the tracks. I was able to get about two and a half bundles in and, as you can see, I installed the tracks pretty close together, but we were able to get it nice and full. So now, I'm just going to kind of go through. It trim up the end kind of clean up. The split ends to give it a much fuller, look and then later I'll be coloring, the hair, black and styling it. I cannot stand to take the pins out for you guys to see the unit complete. Now we have a complete custom length, wig unit, you can cut it and file it, how you like you can color it. This is beautiful, complete you guys, I'm actually very proud of this. I plan on doing a lot of these in the future. So I hope you guys enjoyed this, but this is an amazing job and I really think you guys. I love this versus the full lace. Wig, so try it out and let me know how it turns out. Okay, thank you. So you guys that completes our tutorial. Be sure to follow me on IG at mad about Michi, I'm gon na tell her to unit and style it, and you can see the completed unit actually on my head.
