Are you guys this Lulu and welcome back to my channel in today's video I'm gon na share with you guys how I sold down a wig, so it doesn't go anywhere and it's perfect for running if you workout or vacation. So the hair that I am using is from evil wig. I have a card that gives all the information, your name, the SKU number, the hair details and inside the box you do have a pamphlet. Also, there are wig caps and you guys they send this stuff. Like every single time, it's pack of bobby pins and a comb, so this is the hair, is 22 inches long. It'S like a natural, loose wave texture and I do have adjustable straps and combs inside and I'm just putting it on my head. So that way, I can see how I wanted to fit and figure out whether I want a middle part. It'S already pre plucked, which makes me like so happy because that's one less thing that I have to do and I decided to go with the middle part. So what I'm gon na go ahead and do now is cut my lace and just take it on cutting lace because you can easily mess up. So that's definitely one thing. I always do just take my sweet time cutting my lace. The next thing I do is spray my hair with a moisturizer and I'm also using my shaving oil to just lock in that moisture because I am wearing this week for at least a week. So I just make sure I'm really good and hydrated under there, because I'm not gon na have the privilege of moisturizing, and I put my wig cap right back on my head, leaving my perimeter breaks out and my wig as well, and I do have flaps on The side of my head right above my sideburns and I'm just gon na show you guys how I sew so I sold the permit upgrade first then I just thread it and make sure it's secure. Then I go right back on that perimeter. Braid right above my ear so through the braid so through the flap right above the braid. So that way, it would just lay right there and after I stitch that second stitch, I go ahead and go back and I just start sewing all the way to the back. Slowly, just to make sure I don't accidentally stab myself or so the wrong thing. So the next thing that I do is use my lovely bees, edge control and what I do is just get that area right there as a sideburn and braid it up. So the edge control makes sure my hair is nice and stretched, and it also makes it so when I take it down, because the braid is so small, it won't be difficult at all to take that down and what I do is just pull my wig forward To make sure it's sitting nicely and then I get the end of that flap I sew through the small, individual braid and again take your time doing these things. Then I soak through the flap and I joined the two together and then I'm going to sew they're about two more times just to secure everything. So I'm gon na sew one more time and pull through and then I'm gon na go in there again and pull through and then after that, I'm going to sew on the perimeter. Braid, that's back there where my ear is and pull through, and I'm gon na sew again to secure everything and make them knot, and that's all that I do so. The next thing is I'm using my edge control again, just to kind of lay down any hair. There and make sure the lace actually sticks to my scalp, so I'm using a rat tail comb to help me accomplish that. It'S just so much easier than messing with my fingers and I just do it on small sections at a time because it's easy to get everything messed up, so I just do it again on the other side, in the middle everywhere across the entire, I guess you Could say crescent shape of my head, since I'm only sewing the back and the sides down the front is totally exposed and I'm putting the edge control all the way down from ear to ear and just laying it down that way, and that is all there is To this process, so what I do, because there will be lace showing is I just get some dark makeup and I go on my roots and just touch up where it means to be dark. I put some dark makeup where it needs to be light. Like my middle part, I put something that's my complexion and make sure that it looks the way that it's supposed to look and then I'll get my dark makeup again and just touch up at the roots to make sure that my roots are dark and everything's. Pretty much highlighted and contoured the right way. So that's all there is for this video you guys, I'm just going to show you guys how I wore my hair. Of course, I wore it down. That'S the easiest way, but I also wore it half-up half-down and I also did wear it all the way up, especially whenever I work out. This is my preferred way of wearing my hair. So that's all there is for this video. Thank you so much for watching. As always, I hope this helps somebody who needs help with an easy way to sew your wig down. Please don't forget to give me a big thumbs up, comment down below and subscribe on your way out. I will talk to you guys in the next one and bye

Andrea Sealey: I've been sewing down lace wigs for years. Everyone knows using glue, gel etc makes a sis unable to workout daily or cleanse your entire face. Maintaining hair isn't worth risking your health or skin ladies. Use this method, secure that wig save your edges and be cute! Excellent tutorial.

Nico Nichole: Thank you so much for the tutorial. I'mma try creating a side burn to camaflog the lace and discoloration of the side burn. The application process is perfect in my head; let's see if I recreate it in real time, lol. Stay well and safe!

Tanesaluvluv: I love this! It's actually brilliant I have those side burns as well and it's such a pain sometimes but this is helpful girl. THANK YOU

The Hills Have Eyes: Omg! I watched this to learn how to keep a wig in place but I’ll be wearing a wig to start my chebe journey! First time watching you but I’m subbing for those two reasons! Great video thank you super helpful.

TheNanamariam: I'm loving this technique. Thank youuu!

jazzie cat: thank YOU!! I need to see this when you get to the eag the end how to sew it .

Max Kors: looks really good. I like that kinda slightly messy long look on u.

Sarah Carr: You are so pretty! With and without the wig! With the wig you remind me a lot of Tatiana Ali btw what kind of lip stick are you wearing? I love the color and gloss look

Jay Tee: Nicely done.

MizizBundy: It's just too beautiful. I saw your pic on IG

Barnella Bond: I'm subscribing to you someone told me that I had to use glue on my head I work out a lot and I know that would not be a great method for me so I'm so super happy that I watched this video I really don't like the hassle of using glue on my hair

Natural 76: Sooo pretty!

Grace Smith: how easy or difficult is it to take off the wig without damaging it afterwards?

Prophetess Lady Of Wisdom:

m: How long does this hairstyle last? Could you wear a sew-in wig for more than a couple months?

Prisla Em: Wow, very nice!

Sim Solace: Sorry to come back on old videos, but how would this work with a 3 part 360 =?

Jackie Burns: Is the wig cap needed? Does it prevent ventilation?

Destiny Thomas: Won't it rub against your edges when you sleep if you sew it down? Cuz I heard when people sleep in lace wigs it rubs off their edges!

mythoughts 176: GOOD JOB SIS

Sol Sh: you're gorgeous!

Cyann Armijo: Is there an updated version of this?? this has good information and tips but it’s sloppy your edges aren’t fully protected and this doesn’t help if you don’t want or have edges to sew down on to

aija: make up tutorial pls

Miss CNYP: helpful

Exceptional: Nice

Moon Swan: Are sewn in wigs damaging? And if you sleep with them will it still tug if you plait it and wrap it up in a scarf?

LuLuLand: your name is lulu.. my name is lulu..... #Subscribed lol

Nine: do you have to wear the cap. i know dumb question. i dont want to feel like something is on my head or tightness.
