Hey guys welcome back to my channel if you are new here, my name is Brittany and in today's video we are going to be discussing this kinky straight unit that I am wearing today by a company by the name of oMG, her hair calm. Now I have recently reviewed a kinky straight texture from another company, and you guys gave me such a great response on that video because you loved the texture just like I did and you loved how natural it looked. But the main question that I always get is: how does this type of hair hold up so this time I decided to wear the unit for about a month just so, I can make sure that I'm giving you guys an in-depth review and to really answer some Of your questions, so the packaging is pretty standard. It just has the OMG her hair logo you'll also receive two wig caps, and these are in brown, and you will also get an elastic band if you choose to use that. So here is the unit after I have removed the lace, and I also wash this unit with the Aussie shampoo and condition it with the Aussie conditioner as well, and I'm just showing you guys how the unit looks just on the mannequin head. You can see the hairline, you can see the texture after it has been air dry and I'm just kind of finger combing it through to show you guys that there is no tangling or anything like that. The texture is crinkly and very wild, but still very manageable. I mean it's amazing how this texture comes out so before i adhere my units down, i always like to kind of try the unit on and play with it a little bit and here i'm just showing you the parting space, and this is without a wig cap. I don't wear wig caps, that's just personal preference, and here I'm just showing you you can see how, while the hair can get, which I love this look and just look at that texture. It'S so realistic! You guys it looks absolutely amazing, like it's just so realistic. It'S crazy, I'm always in awe of this texture like look at it. Up close, this is how my hair looks when its blow-dry, like seriously it's amazing and after adhering it down with the got to be glue gel, you can see how natural the hairline really looks. So I just want to show you guys how easy it is to get this straight, and that's how it looks on your bladder that you can kind of see the texture here and how it looks here, and this is with no product - see we kind of see The difference between this eye - this is a little bit thicker in texture, so the unit that I'm wearing today is a glueless 360 unit, and that just means that it has lace all around the perimeter imparting space, but in the center it has track sewn on. So a lot of the times these type of frontal units or 360 frontal units. They can be a little bit thicker than your full lace units simply because you're, adding tracks and tracks usually are thicker than just. You know when you lace a week have a last week, so that is one thing that I do like about: lace, frontal units and also the 360 lace units as well. This unit does have three combs in the front and one comb in the back, which I absolutely love a lot of people, don't like the comb that sticks in the back. But to me it just gives me extra security and I love it and I always need it. It also has the adjustable straps that are standard with any lace wig as well. So this is one of their pre plucked units, but when it comes to kinky straight hair, you guys know the texture is really thick and kind of dense. So a lot of those times you still will have to kind of tweak it a little bit to your liking. I didn't do too much tweezing, I did just a little bit, but nothing really to write home about the hair is really really thick. So you know I kind of like that, look and a lot of times when people have kinky straight texture or like, if you think of like Kenya, Moore or something like that, their hair is very thick at the beginning. You know all the way down down to the tip, so that's just kind of standard for this type of texture of hair, even if it is natural like if this is your natural hair. So you don't want to thin it out too too, too much, because if your hair is kinky straight like this, you probably don't have thin hair. I did not bleach the knocks on this unit. So here is the parting. Now I can widen that part up a little bit more, but I just didn't really feel like it, and I made this part myself. It didn't come with a natural part in it, so you can whiten it. You know or just changed or you can do a deep side part you can do left or right whatever have you, you can pull it up. I adhered this unit down with the got to be glutton method and I would say that it's holding pretty well. I didn't do any baby hair because I just feel like with this texture. It wasn't necessary, but you can see here is the hairline and it's pretty nice, you guys I'm not mad at it at all. So it just looks like a really nice big, healthy head of hair honestly, so when it comes to the kinky straight texture, I'm absolutely obsessed with this texture because it just mimics african-american, hair blonde out so well, it's always soft, like this is again a different company And the hair still feels absolutely amazing. The texture is just it's literally the most realistic texture. I'Ve ever felt like it literally feels like my hair after it has been blow-dried. It'S crazy, and the only thing I will say is that you do get shedding with kinky straight hair. I don't know what it is, but you do get shedding with this. I got it with my past unit and I got it with this unit. It'S not overbearing, but it is noticeable. So I do want to let you guys know about that also when it comes to the shedding like that's the reason why I didn't really over pluck this one, because the last one I plucked it to perfection, they look really really nice around the hairline, but with All the shedding you're gon na start to notice that it's going to show bald spots and that's what happened with my previous unit. The hair texture is still amazing and it's still holding up will no tangles or anything, but the lay started to kind of get thin in certain areas. So with this one I just kind of left it thick. You know so that it has room to do it's shedding and do its thing, and I can still wear it for a longer amount of time, so the shedding would be my only Conway comes to this week at all. Like I absolutely love it, it's super low-maintenance. I did go through it with my flat iron just to get this texture, but I just did like one pass, and this is what I'm getting. I love the luster on it. As you can see, it has a little bit of a shine to it and I didn't put anything on it, so this is like the natural shine of the hair and I'm gon na get a little closer. So you can see the texture of this. I mean it's amazing, you guys it's like. I have nothing negative to say so. I would definitely leave everything in the description box below if you guys are interested I'll, also leave all of my personal specs for this unit. If you guys want to get the exact same thing that I got, but I absolutely love the unit, nothing negative to say, except for the fact that it does and it is noticeable. But it's not like. I mean it's not like a handful of shedding every time, but you will notice strands every time you comb this hair coming out. So that is definitely something you know to be concerned about and, like I said, I've noticed that, with my other kinky straight texture and I've heard everyone on YouTube that pretty much reviews, kinky straight hair or wigs I'll say they say that it sheds. So I just think that that's kind of common across the board, but as far as tangling or anything, I don't get any tangling at all, which is really good for something for a texture that is so thick as far as it holding a curl. I would say it holds a curl decently. I one curl this unit and the curls lasted about a day and a half, but because the hair is so, you know thick and it's coarse. You'Re gon na have to kind of continue to curl the unit on a daily basis, unless you maybe use a flexi rod or something like that, but otherwise I mean it holds as expected. I would say, but this time I'm just deciding to wear it straight this week, you know give it a simple style. Of course you can kind of like pull it up. If you want to you know, you can do like a half up. Half down. Look super cute. You can do a lot of different things with it. You guys, so it's a very versatile tool, wig, but it's also low maintenance, because the texture speaks for itself. You don't need to curl the hair, but if you want to you, can I didn't layer it or anything? I think it would be really pretty layered. If you're gon na do some curls in it yeah. I would recommend the unit you guys. I would recommend you just try a kinky straight texture period, but this unit in particular is really good and, yes, I would recommend it.
