What'S up y'all [ Applause ]? Clearly, i'm feeling myself y'all today we're gon na be getting into this hair right here, i'm gon na be showing y'all how i dot it attempting to put some highlights in it, but you know i wouldn't say it was a complete fail, but it's not. I don't know, but i'm still in love with it, like. I still love the outcome, so i had to show y'all, of course, and y'all asked for more affordable amazon weeks, and this is definitely an affordable amazon wig and it's another bob wig. My last amazon bob wig did numbers is still doing numbers to this day. I don't know if that bob is still in stock um, because i do be getting like some comments saying you know like hey. Is there? Another link is no longer available, so i came back with another one. You feel me and, like i said this was only 50, so i had to come. Slay y'all, real quick of course spring and summer is coming up. This is gon na, be the perfect hair. Uh so yeah, i have to show y'all what it do um. So as y'all know, we don't do all that chit chat and over here on this channel we're gon na go ahead and get into this video. But before we do that, if you are new to my channel, this is your first time here: hey girl, if you're a returning subscriber, hey girl, what it is what's up and yeah so happy that you came back to my channel. Thank you so much for subscribing, but i'm not gon na talk. Y'All heads off we're gon na go ahead and get right into the video. What is up y'all? I am back with another video, and this week today is from fashlive hair. They did send me this dark chocolate, brown, wig cap and then the spray bottle, i'm not sure what the spray bottle is for, but i did get this 10 inch bob and y'all. I bought this with my own bunny um and today i'm going to be coloring. It using this l'oreal bleach 30 volume developer and then i'm going to try to do some highlights. So i bought these salon - foil sheets and i'm gon na talk about these later on in the video because they literally annoyed me um, but as y'all can see. Well, probably here in a moment, you'll be able to see like the little technique that i've been using shout out to youtube, because this is where i got this technique from, but y'all asked for more affordable wig options from amazon. This week was only fifty dollars, probably like 52 max was like text and everything um. So, of course, i'll definitely be leaving all of the details in the description box and y'all do see me with a mask on it's, because if you've dyed, hair or bleached hair y'all know that bleach is very, very strong, and i wasn't trying to inhale that because I have been bleaching hair a lot and i know that's not healthy. So, yes, i put my mask on but anywho onto these little foil things y'all me personally, i would recommend just using regular foil from the grocery store just because that is a little bit more heavy duty. This foil was like really flimsy and hard to work with, like folding it and stuff like that so yeah i would not recommend it like. The sheets were sticking together and stuff, so i was trying to be. You know professional and use the foil sheets from the beauty supply store, but ciao. I should have just used some regular aluminum foil um, but when i'm applying the bleach y'all can see like the little uh strokes that i like to do. Just because i didn't want any harsh lines, especially on the top of my hair, like i didn't want you to be able to see, you know where the bleach starts and where it stops basically um. So, let's see so when i do part of what i want to highlight, i basically just take a big section: um and then i part that section and then, as y'all can see uh well right now, i'm kind of part in that big section into a smaller Section we're trying to y'all, i was getting so irritated, i'm a beginner, so if you are a professional hairdresser or cosmetology person do not come for me, i am a beginner i have. This is my first time ever doing highlights and i feel like i did. A pretty good job like i know, there's some things that i can tweak and do better for next time, but i want y'all wanted to show y'all, because i mean everybody not perfect and yeah, so um yeah. I just wanted to show y'all me trying to do this process and, like i said it didn't, come out bad as y'all will be able to see here in a moment, but it was just me trying to work with like all these different pieces, the hair, the Brush the foil plus have these gloves on like girl. It was, it was doing too much. It was giving too much uh, but right here. This is the strokes that i'm talking about where i turn my brush, like upward and kind of, do these type of strokes. I don't know what you would call them, but like up down versus like going across um and that just helps for there to not be like a line of demarcation on the hair, uh, so yeah and as y'all can see baby. I was folding this foil, like all every which away, but eventually i got it y'all gon na see in a moment or later on in the video. I got it down pick but uh. This is the technique that i was talking about this weaving technique. So basically, you take the brush and just go up down up down, and this is when i kind of started to get the hang of it. So here it is the weaving technique and, as you all see like girl, but yeah, i got it eventually. Did you just go like up in and out in and out to kind of pull out the pieces that you want to put the bleach on to get the highlight effect, so i'm not y'all can see. I took my gloves off just because, like i said i feel like it was too much going on and i couldn't really grip. The foil like i wanted to because of the gloves. So i'm not going to talk your head off, i'm going to let y'all watch the video and watch me be a beginner at this highlighting stuff and we just going to learn and make mistakes and produce good hair together. Okay, so i let the bleach sit on here for about a good 35 to 40 minutes and i'm just taking all of the foil sheets out right now, i'm just letting y'all see like how light i got it. I didn't want the highlights to be too light. I wanted to go for like a more like golden brown color um, so i didn't need it to lift. So i didn't have to let the bleach sit on for too long um, so yeah, depending upon like how light y'all want the highlights to be um. That would be, of course, how long you need to keep your bleach on. I would definitely suggest keep on checking it just because you don't want the hair to like over bleach or it to start smoking or get too light. So you definitely keep your eye on it, so i went ahead and washed the bleach out just with regular shampoo, not like the shimmer lights or anything, because i know it's gon na go back door with color um, so i just use some regular voa shampoo, but I'M just kind of parting through the hair and showing y'all like all the little pieces that was dyed and highlights, and, like i said y'all, this is not perfect, but in the end it actually came out. Like kind of cute like i actually like the results um. So, probably don't look like your regular highlights, but i actually really really liked how everything turned out. I'M using the revlon box dye and light golden brown and i'm just mixing the two contents that comes in and so the cream developer and then the the color and make sure you shake that really well, so you can make sure that you are getting the right. Color on the hair - and i just basically go through one bottle - was enough for me just because i am just doing this bob, so it didn't take like multiple boxes, but if you are doing like longer hair and things like that, i would definitely probably recommend you Get in more than one box just in case, but this bottle surprisingly had a lot of product in it like the hair was like very, very saturated and i still had more product but baby. I made sure i got my money's worth and i used every little last drop of color that was in that bottle. So that's basically what y'all see me doing, i'm just going in and applying that dye on all of the hair, not just the highlighted pieces on all of the hair um, so it can kind of like be. You know a nice little transition from the highlighted pieces to the pieces. That'S still kind of darker, and i don't do this in no particular method for the length of the hair like in the back and stuff like that. I just squirt it on as y'all see and kind of massage it. In with my hands, however, up towards the lace i use the brush just because i don't want to get the dye on the lace, we don't want to dye our lace, then you know, then that's a whole nother problem, uh, so i'll either use my brush or I'Ll just kind of slowly but surely pat it in with the with my hands but as y'all can see right now, i'm using my brush. So i kind of just intertwined between the two. But if you are going to use your hands, definitely take your time and be careful not to get the dye on your lace. So hmm, i'm sorry. I keep bending in front of the camera y'all baby. I was just trying to get all of the angles with this hair, but with the color i ended up, leaving it on, for i left it on for a minute. Actually, it's probably like 45 minutes to an hour, but here is the finished product and, like i said it is not perfect, but i definitely love the results. I'M ready to put this wig on um as y'all can see like i ended up, straightening it and um. The body, the texture and everything of this wig was still intact, like the bleaching and stuff like that. Didn'T mess up the the quality of the wig as y'all can see. It still has that body girl - i didn't, have to go in and trim or anything like that. As far as the cut, everything is still pretty symmetrical um i even went in and did a little bit of baby hairs, which i think i am going to show. Y'All here in a moment, look i'm taking her off the wig staying girl come here uh, but yeah. Here we go some little baby hairs. Um. Look at me girl, i'm trying to get into the baby hair y'all they're, not perfect, but they they step up from what i normally do. So i'm proud of myself like i said this. Video is definitely for beginners. I'M a beginner myself and i just wanted to show y'all like how i got this hair - give y'all some different hair content because i know y'all, probably tired of seeing like me dyeing the whole. You know all of the hair one color, so it was good to use to try to do some highlights um which, like i said it, wasn't a complete feel it still came out. Looking pretty good, so i'm pretty excited. This is going to be my next week. So i would definitely be taking some pictures in this wig on the gram and voila y'all. This is how my hair came out, don't mind if the baby hair is looking a little crazy as y'all know, i'm trying to learn the baby hair thing, but as far as the hair, the bob girl, i am in love. So here is the the color and i honestly didn't expect it to be this short, but i'm actually in love turn all the way around and, as y'all can see, stiff well stiff, well, okay, um, but yeah as y'all can see. The hair still has hello body. After me, bleaching it and putting color on it and everything. This is like the perfect hair for going into the upcoming spring or even summertime, because it's so short and off your shoulders off your back. Like you know, you can breathe basically um so yeah, i'm definitely in love with this hair, and let me know what you guys think on my first time, uh trying to do highlights like i said it's not 100 perfect, but practice makes perfect. I wanted to show y'all this process and like what i came up with you know. Sometimes mistakes can be a beautiful outcome, um, but yeah. I will definitely be taking some pictures and posting on the gram. It'Ll probably be a minute before y'all see them on the ground, because i got valentine pictures i need to do um, but yeah. They will definitely be coming this week. We'Ll definitely see the grams. So if you don't follow me, definitely follow me at tara lane with two underscores. I got ta start looking here and not looking at myself um, but y'all can't tell me this hair. Don'T look good like what but yeah, i'm really feeling this i'm ready to bring this out for the for the the spring time you know um, but yeah. I hope you guys enjoyed this video. Definitely leave me. Some comments down below as y'all can see. I'M experimenting with hair colors and different styles and stuff like this, so let me know what kind of colors you want to see what kind of styles, what kind of textures and stuff! I don't think i did a curly hair video on here in a minute which i am going to be getting some curly hair pretty soon for my vacation. So i would definitely be figuring out what i want to do with that hair and that will be a video. So if you did enjoy this video - and you are new to my channel - definitely make sure you hit that subscribe button. We are on the road to 3k and i can definitely get there with your help um.
